I had the same issue, the recommended place to edit your custom patterns (Appearance > Editor) had been removed by Kadence. I eventually discovered that there’s a link to the ‘Manage patterns’ page in the Gutenberg editor. If you click the Settings button in the top right of the main toolbar it opens the settings panel. At the bottom of the panel in the Tools section there’s a link to ‘Manage patterns’.

    Check out this screengrab:

    Hi,

There is a big white space above my Event’s Image. Is it a bug? I don’t see a way to correct this?

I am using the ventprime plugin. Link to the event’s page:

The EventPrime team is saying that Kadence is adding a div on top of the image which poses the problem, sharing screenshots:

    Thanks in advance,
    Viktor

    Hi there,

I just started a new site for a client and can’t get the Patterns blocks to load in the design library. I’ve refreshed / restarted and even deleted and reinstalled wordpress and then each plugin one at a time. I have no other plugins running other than Kadence blocks and Kadence blocks pro. Attached screen shot – this is the message I get no matter what I do. The pages load but the patterns refuse to load. Please help I am on a strict deadline.

    Hey there,

You can hide the Post Date on Blogs using the Customizer Settings.

To do this on Archives, you can go to your Customizer -> Post/Pages Layout -> Archive Layout.
You can find the Post Item Layout section and expand the Meta.
Then, you can disable the option to show the date.
Here is a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/WnuXXWzx

To do this on Single Blog Posts, you can go to your Customizer -> Post/Pages Layout -> Single Post Layout.
You can look for the Title Elements section and expand the Meta.
Then, you can disable the option to show the date.
Here is a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/E0uJJOWJ

I hope this information was helpful to you. Please let us know how we can further help.

    Best regards,
    Victor

    Dear Kadence Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As an avid user of the Kadence theme, I’ve been working diligently to optimize my website’s performance. The site has been built to enable users to find their electricity bill details. However, I’ve encountered challenges with the Pagespeed Insights score, which currently falls short of my expectations.

After thorough research, I’ve decided to implement a caching solution to enhance load times and overall user experience. As such, I’m seeking recommendations from fellow Kadence enthusiasts regarding the best caching plugin to integrate seamlessly with our beloved theme.

    Here are my requirements:

Efficiency: I’m looking for a caching plugin that significantly improves page load times without compromising functionality or design.
Compatibility: Given that Kadence is known for its lightweight and efficient design, I want to ensure that the chosen plugin works harmoniously with our theme.
Ease of Use: As a non-technical user, I appreciate straightforward solutions. A user-friendly caching plugin would be ideal.
Based on your experiences and expertise, which caching plugin would you recommend? Have you successfully implemented any specific plugin with Kadence, and if so, what were the results?

I eagerly wait for your valuable insights and suggestions.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Warm regards, Tabinda Ilyas

    Hi there,

Just wanted to chip in and add to what Chito mentioned.

I went through your website and noticed you do not have comment boxes on your blog pages.

If you are trying to show a comment box on your blog post:
    1. Navigate to the theme Customizer > Posts/Pages Layout > Single Post Layout
    2. Scroll down and Toggle On “Show Comments?”

Here is a screencast for your reference:

I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

    Cheers,

    Hi Trish,

I’ve responded to your support ticket already.

I’m sending it here as well, just in case other Kadence users are interested.

You’ve mentioned in your support ticket that you’re using the Post Grid/Carousel block.

Is the Job Title a custom field?

You can achieve this with the hooked element feature.

    1. create a hooked element
    2. pull the Job Titles dynamically using the Kadence Blocks and dynamic content feature
    3. choose the Custom Hook option in the hooked element’s Placement setting
    4. choose a Custom Hook value that works for you (refer to the article below)
    5. select Single Pages (and look for that specific page where you’ve added the Post Grid/Carousel block) in the hooked element Display Settings

    More info about this here:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-design-a-post-grid-carousel-using-a-kadence-element/

Please let me know how I can help further.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

Is this for the single post page? Can you please send us a screenshot of the post/page layout?

In the meantime, you can use the Visual Hook Guide plugin to check the custom hook you can use to insert the additional content. https://wordpress.org/plugins/visual-hook-guide-for-kadence/

Then, use the Kadence Hooked Element to insert the block.
    https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-use-element-hooks/

Select the corresponding option in the element’s placement setting. You can also select the Custom Hook option, then put the Custom Hook value.

Please let me know how I can help further.

    Best,
    Chito

but the issue is product data is not showing

    #287728

    Hello,
I’d like to know if it’s possible to use the “Tabs” block to filter images. In my example, I have 50 images. I want to make an “All” Tab, another “News” Tab, another “Trends” Tab, etc.
All my images will be in the “all” tab. When I click on “News”, for example, I only want to see the images that correspond to this heading.
I don’t want to duplicate my images by “tabs” as this could considerably increase the loading time of my page.

    Thank you for your help.

    Chito,

What would be the CSS code to have the previous entries be like the home page in regards to the title of the posts? In other words, when I search for previous posts now, I get the entries as photos only, but the post’s title appears below the image. How could I have the title show up only when I hover over the image, as is the case on the home page? Is there a #previouspost CSS code? Here’s an image of the previous post search results. I’d like the titles under the images to appear only when I hover over the image. Along these lines, can I add a comment in the CSS code so that I know what it is? I’ve added several CSS snippets to my site and it’s getting hard to know what purpose they serve.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dear Kadence Team,

I would like to insert a short line after the date of my article, but befort the page content. What kind of code in CSS should I use in your opinion? I tried a few things without success (though I admit, I’m not good at that)

    Thank You!

    #287710

    Hi, Michael!

If you choose the settings that I mentioned, it will add the border to the current page. Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.zight.com/eDuer1Xg

Please could you give us your page URL where we can see the current header styles? This is so we can better understand what you want to achieve.

    Kind regards,
    Karla

    Hi Jennifer,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I have checked, and it seems that SiteOrigin was indeed updated recently, just two weeks ago. You can find the latest updates on their plugin page here:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/

Regarding your inquiry about switching to Kadence with WooCommerce, I will advise conducting the transition on a staging site first. This will allow you to thoroughly test the behavior and functionality before implementing it on the live site.

When transitioning from SiteOrigin to Kadence, there’s a possibility that any custom WooCommerce elements, such as product, archive, and checkout pages, built using WooCommerce SiteOrigin Builder, may need to be recreated within Kadence. However, Kadence offers robust features for e-commerce, particularly with its Kadence ShopKit, which provides extensive customization options for WooCommerce. You can explore more about Kadence ShopKit here:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-shopkit/

In terms of e-commerce compatibility, WooCommerce integrates seamlessly with Kadence, making it a suitable choice for your client’s online store needs.

Absolutely thrilled to hear about your love for Kadence blocks! Your extensive experience using Kadence will undoubtedly be invaluable in streamlining the transition process.

Please let us know how we can help further.

    Cheers,
    Eze

It is now 2024, I am researching SiteOrigin PageBuilder that a new client is currently using. I noticed they haven’t updated SiteOrigin in a year according to GitHub? Anyway, I am wondering how and what will happen if we switch the client from SiteOrigin/Storefront WooCommerce to Kadence with WooCommerce unless there is a better e-commerce to use with Kadence? I came across where SiteOrigin was rated 3.2 compare to other builders out there. I have use Kadence extensively at a previous employment of four years. Love Kadence Block building!

    Chito,

Thanks for the follow-up. I did not know I had to enable the “Page Content” in the Theme Options. The page looks the way I wanted it to look. A visitor will only see photos on the home page. Since I also had some CSS you guys had given me previously, the post titles only show on hovering over the photos. I probably have a CSS code that prevents the home page from displaying “Latest Posts.”

    Thank you for the help.

In reply to: Removing table grids

    #287698

    Hi @stamacc,

Can you confirm if the table is using the DEFAULT style and not the STRIPES?

In the meantime, please try this code:

    .wp-block-table td {
        border: transparent !important;
    }

I added an !important keyword to override any other styles and make sure this style takes precedence.

If the code still doesn’t work, kindly send us a link to the page with the table. We recommend that when sending links to your websites, kindly check “set as private reply” before submitting your reply.

Please let us know how this goes and if we can help you further.
