In reply to: Can you Customize category Page?
My site have couple of different custom post types.
I was trying to create element templates for each custom post types’s archive.
However when I was choosing what I am applying to, I can only apply to all archive pages.
Are there anyway that I can specify which custom post type’s archive I am applying it to?
Because the query will be different. In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 8, 2024 at 9:45 am #287454Hi,
I went through the AI Starter Page Process and finally want to import them in WordPress.
But something failed. I have only the woocommerce pages like shop and checkout and my account, noting else.
There was a message that there is problems with the plugins and I should install them manualy but the two plugins woocommerce and kadence blogs are installed.
What can I do?
Thanks in advice

February 6, 2024 at 11:11 pm #287440Hi Susanne,
Thanks for writing in.
There’s a new placement option added to the Kadence Element Template which allows you to replace the entire category page.
Select the “Replace Archive Content” in the placement settings and choose the Category page in the display settings.
You can customize the template however you want.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.

February 6, 2024 at 9:47 pm #287438Hi Kschandler,
I see that you are referring to the hero section on your archive page.
You can set the Container Min Height in the Appearance > Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout settings.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/WnuXBjrx
Please let us know how it goes.

“As per the plugin documentation (here) I have created the folder into wp-content/themes/kadence/job_manager and copied across the following templates…”
If you’re going to add or change any theme template, please use a child theme. The reason for that is because your changes will only be overwritten once you update to the latest version of the theme. Refer to our post here – https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/what-is-a-child-theme-should-i-install-one-if-so-how/
This job posting uses our theme template – https://share.zight.com/d5u2w7K6. The “Careers” title will not show because it is already a single post page.
If you want to show an “Above Content” title layout, you can do so by going to Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > CPT Single Layout. It should look like this – https://share.zight.com/DOuJ20pg
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsHi there!
1. If you don’t have the login/registration page yet, create a new page via Dashboard > Pages. Then, add the “
[woocommerce_my_account]” shortcode needed for the My Account page. Refer to this post – https://woo.com/document/woocommerce-pages/Also, make sure that you’re allowing account creation on the My Account page. Watch this screen recording as a guide – https://share.zight.com/mXuz1L4b
2. For your first screenshot, that section is using a Row Layout block. You can control the number of columns for mobile views. Watch this – https://share.zight.com/ApuPR02B
For the Product Carousel block, click the Individual link beside the Columns option. This is where you’ll set the number of columns for the other screen widths – https://share.zight.com/jku8ewNe
Regarding your third screenshot, was it taken on the shop page (https://startertemplatecloud.com/member-g02/shop/)? If so, set the mobile columns to 2 by going to Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog. Select TWO COLUMNS for the “Mobile Columns Layout” option – https://share.zight.com/o0uOEwdQ
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.

KarlaIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: How to modify the design of the menu on each page
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
I understand you want to change the dropdown menu background color on each page.
You can only set this globally in the theme customizer, and there is no built-in feature to achieve this for each page menu.
As a workaround, you can use this custom CSS to change dropdown menu background color of specific pages:
.page.page-id-5593 .header-navigation .header-menu-container ul ul.sub-menu { background: transparent; }Change the page-id number to that of yours. Here is how to your website page ID:
https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-do-i-find-a-page-or-post-idYou can add as many lines of code for different pages.
Here is a screencast of how to achieve this:

February 6, 2024 at 10:17 am #287420Hi, could the video here please be activated again. Unfortunately, I can’t find the setting that allows the footer navigation menu to be aligned vertically. Unfortunately, the pages are next to each other.
Thank youIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Styling Twitter Feed
February 6, 2024 at 7:16 am #287419Styling a Twitter feed to display horizontally at the bottom of a webpage, underneath the footer information, is definitely doable! If you’re using the Jetpack Twitter feed plugin, you might want to explore its settings first to see if it offers any options for customizing the layout.
If you’re open to using a different plugin that better suits your needs, I’d recommend checking out other Twitter feed plugins available in the WordPress repository. Look for ones that mention horizontal display options or custom styling features.
Alternatively, you can achieve the desired layout by adding custom CSS to your website. You’ll likely need to target the Twitter feed element and adjust its positioning, width, and display properties to make it appear horizontally at the bottom of the page.
Since you’re using the Ascend theme, make sure to review its documentation or support resources for any specific customization options or CSS classes you can leverage to style the Twitter feed according to your preferences.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance or have any other questions.

In forum: Membership ForumsIn forum: Kadence ThemeFebruary 2, 2024 at 4:13 am #287396Hello,
I am trying to help a friend setup a website, I am using the Kadence theme Web Agency starter template and have come across an issue that I am struggling to resolve and was wondering if someone on here can point me in the right direction.
I have installed WP Job Manager plugin, the job listings look great with the theme see here
However, when I click on an individual job listing here the page loses the background image (pexels-fauxels-3184306.jpg) and the careers heading, therefore the logo and navigation is not visible.
As per the plugin documentation (here) I have created the folder into wp-content/themes/kadence/job_manager and copied across the following templates:
• content-single-job_listing.php
• content-single-job_listing-company.php
• content-single-job_listing-meta.php
• content-summary-job_listing.phpI have tried editing these but can’t seem to see the changes on the frontend, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

In forum: Kadence BlocksHi Tom,
It sounds like you are dealing with an interactive map where popups are triggered when the page loads, but clicking on any part of the image causes the popups to disappear.
This behavior might be due to the default behavior of your interactive map library or the CSS styles applied to it. This will require some advanced customisation, which is outside our support scope.
In the meantime, could you please share a link to the website with the map so that other users who may have encountered something similar can further help you?
You can also try asking on our Kadence Facebook community.

EzeIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Compatibility with Auto Listings Plugin
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
The “Opening HTML Tag(s)” and “Closing HTML Tag(s)” fields provided by the plugin are primarily for wrapping the generated content within the Theme HTML tags.
Please add this to the Opening HTML Tag(s)
<div class="content-area"> <div class="content-container site-container">and this to the Closing HTML Tag(s)
</div> </div>After making these changes, check the single and archive pages to see if the appearance aligns with the theme as expected.
You can also reach out to Auto Listings support to further help you with this.
I hope this helps. Please let us know how we can help further.

EzeIn forum: Kadence BlocksI have a map with image hotspots on it whose popups contain the names of the locations and links to information about those locations. I want the popups to show up when the page is loaded and to remain irrespective of what is clicked on in the image. I can easily have the popups open when the page is loaded, however, if any point on the image is clicked after the page loads all of the hotspots disappear. I am thinking there is some css that could be changed to make these not disappear and am wondering if anyone has any ideas?
Thank you in advance.

ArchitaIn forum: Membership ForumsFebruary 1, 2024 at 12:32 am #287375Hello
I’ve set up a row with the following parameters for the background image:
Position of the background image: center
Style of Background Image: Cover Row Arrangement: Complete Width
But I’ve observed a problem: the image doesn’t adjust to the webpage’s scaling. Rather than remaining in the center, it appears to be pinned to the left. What adjustments can I make to ensure that the image remains centered during the scaling process?Regards,
