I am using woocommerce and, in the kadence theme settings, I have checked the option to show avatars on the woo account dashboard.

Currently the avatar links to gravatar, but I need it it either link to nothing (not ideal) or a custom profile settings page (domain.com/profile – I’m using UsersWP).

Is this possible? I tried copying the file to a corresponding folder in my child theme but that doesn’t seem to work.

Some info:
I’m using a child theme called kadence-child
the gravatar link is in the file /inc/components/woocommerce/component.php

I can see the the content and all the layout in the customizer but it doest show on the live website home page

Hi @josh-8598,

Saving block defaults stores the customizations you applied for that specific block. If you add the same block in the page editor, it will use the saved settings. Kindly note that this won’t affect the existing blocks.

You can always change the font weight for individual blocks.

As for different font weight values, this depends on the font you’re choosing; not all fonts have the same font weights. For example, Lato font has 100, 300, regular, 700, and 900 font weights while Helvetica only has 300, 500, 700.

From what I understand, the Google Search result for “ACDC ETF review” is showing a search result that is redirecting to an incorrect page.

When I inspect your page, the <title> tag is there but it shows the website URL – https://share.zight.com/qGuBRzXB

This should use the Site Title and/or Site Tagline value from Customize > Site Identity. Watch how this works on my website – https://share.zight.com/GGud40QZ

Could you double-check the Customize settings and ensure that you’re not using the website URL as the site title? If you have any website cache, clear it.

To remove the Row Layout block background gradient color, kindly edit the page > go to the Row Layout Style tab > Background Overlay Settings > Select Classic as the Overlay Type.

Hi,

1. How do I make the white space between the two curves disappear by putting both blocks (the top and bottom one) together? Please see the screenshot. I tried with padding but it doesn’t move the curves.

2. How do I set the page/homepage photo in a way that the photo along with bottom text/wavy banner will show up full screen on any screen?

3. I don’t know what I clicked but something strange happened – when I want to edit the top block (with the photo), I can now only see the “Content” option in the right sidebar and even that one looks weird (please see the screenshot). How do I get back all the functions?

We apologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Can you confirm if you have chosen the WooCommerce plugin for installation? Also, which AI starter template are you trying to import? When in your Dashboard -> Kadence -> Starter Templates, can you click on the Refresh Icon on the top right of the page to resync the cloud and see if this resolves the issue? Can you check for Console Logged Errors whenever the Import either Fails? Please send us any error(s) you may receive.

Can you try clearing your Website and Browser Cache? You can Learn More Here. Can you also review all of the steps in this Troubleshooting article?

This could happen if your server needs more resources to achieve the goal. Below are the recommended values:

• The PHP memory limit set to 512MB
• the max post size bigger or equal to 50MB
• the WP memory limit 128/256 MB
• the max upload size 50 MB
• the max input vars 2500
• and ideally, the max execution time should be around 300.

You can contact your host and ask them to increase your server limitations or make sure they are using at least these values.

Running into an odd issue with the Row Layout – section block. On the landing page for a portfolio site I am building, I am using a row layout with 4 sections stacked vertically to link to projects. The background for each section consists of one image that was separately made from 3 merged stills. I am trying to keep the natural aspect ratios for each, which is where I am running into problems.

As a placeholder, I have each section background set to cover with a min height of 135px, but I am trying to achieve the background image having a width of 100% of its container and the natural height of the image in aspect ratio. I know that if I set the image size as contain and manually adjust the min height it would work, but that seems cumbersome. When I do custom size and go width: 100%, height: auto, it still won’t work; even though I reset the min height to its base setting, the sections keep the min height setting. How do I work around this?

Hi Eze, thank you for the answer.

The error is caused somehow by the Kadence Blocks – PRO Extension plugin. I decreased the PHP Version from 8.2. to 8.0 and now even I get the 503 Error when I refresh the Page I can edit the content. Before I had to deactivate the Plugin to edit the Content.

Is there anyway to receive and older Version of the Plugin to check if this works?

Hi,
I went through the AI Starter Page Process and finally want to import them in WordPress.
But something failed. I have only the woocommerce pages like shop and checkout and my account, noting else.
There was a message that there is problems with the plugins and I should install them manualy but the two plugins woocommerce and kadence blogs are installed.
What can I do?

You can change the Post Archive Columns to 2 in Appearance > Customize > Posts/Pages Layout > Archive Layout — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/9Zu4dLAY

You can also display 10 posts per page by changing the value of Blog pages show at most in Settings > Reading — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/YEuJZzAW

Please note that the above settings will affect all the blog archive pages.

If you’d like to apply this only for category pages, create Kadence Element Template to replace the post category archives. Use the Kadence Query Loop (Adv) block to query your posts. Here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/04uR2dYx

Make sure to enable the “Inherit query from template” option so it automatically fetches the posts dynamically in each category archive page.

Hi all !

How to display subcategories above the product list, in a WooCommerce product category page?
By default, the subcategory thumbnails are displayed at the beginning of the list, but this is not at all aesthetically pleasing, and it loses visibility.

I would like to be able to place these thumbnails above the list of products, like in the image below (this is a montage that I made to illustrate my request):

If I add it, it searches all the contents on the pages which I don’t want. I only want the search to be limited to the page title and perhaps a few other options. Is there a filter function I can do to limit what Kadence searches? I’ve looked at the source code and couldn’t find anything.

Thank you for the suggestions! I’ll start by exploring the settings of the Jetpack Twitter feed plugin to see if it offers any options for customizing the layout as you mentioned. If that doesn’t provide the desired result, I’ll definitely check out other Twitter feed plugins available in the WordPress repository to find one that better suits my needs, especially those with horizontal display options or custom styling features.

If I decide to go the custom CSS route, I’ll make sure to target the twitter保存 feed element and adjust its properties accordingly to achieve the desired horizontal layout at the bottom of the webpage. I’ll also review the Ascend theme documentation and support resources for any specific customization options or CSS classes that could be helpful in this process.
