    And another one from me. I’m using the Kadence Pro theme, and there is a horizontal scroll bar on the pages. I presume it’s there because we have a sandwich menu on smartphones and tablets, but that shouldn’t be affecting layout on the desktop. What am I missing to turn off that space on the right of the website that leads to the scroll bar?

    Hello William,

    Do you have a link to a page with the conversion you’ve mentioned? To accomplish your goal, I would use the Conversion Goal in the Conversion Settings section. Change the goal to “Click Button”, the GOAL SPECIFIC BUTTON CLASS to something like “close-conversion”, enable the option to Close Conversion on Goal Event, and add your two buttons to the conversion item. Ensure the “Yes” button has the “close-conversion” class instead of directing the user to a different URL. However, make sure the “No” button continues to redirect the user.

    With the settings above, the “Yes” button will close the conversion, leaving the user on the current page while being redirected and failing the conversion when they click “No”.

    Please let us know if this method works for you.

    I uploaded a custom font using the Custom Fonts plugin. Everything is ok but in the mobile version the site shows all in italics instead the normal font that was set in the page. I checked in the mobile version and everything points to the “normal” font. am I missing something?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi!
    I found the problem. The “Page Layout” setting in the “Content Style” was set to “Boxed”. But to avoid a shadow, I set the Alpha channel to zero in the “General” – “Layout” – “Single Post Boxed Shadow” setting. For me the solution was to change “Content Style” to “Unboxed”. But for “Boxed” the problem still remains.

    Hi there,

    I tried using the CSS recommended here and here, but neither have worked for me. I wanted to change a pullquote on one of my pages so that the quote symbol is color FFF1e4. Is this possible?

    Here is my website.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the video. I’m here to help.

    I tried replicating it on my test site, but was unable to — here’s a video: https://share.zight.com/GGuyeO8v

    Have you tried clearing the browser cache, checking it in a different browser, and checking it on your mobile device?

    Do you have a link to the page where I can inspect it?

    Best,
    Chito

    Hi there,

    I’m here to help.

    That notice suggests reducing the depth of the HTML structure from parent block to children. Try moving out the button block from any container block and see how it goes.

    If the issue persists, can you please send a screenshot of the block structure from the page editor for that specific button? It would be great as well if you could share here the links to the page and results page (Google PSI).

    Thanks,
    Chito

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    Kadence has 4 themes, but I recommend the free Kadence theme for its being lightweight and fast. You can see the other themes (classic themes: Virtue, Ascend, and Pinnacle) here and read more about theme comparisons: https://www.kadencewp.com/theme-comparison/

    Accessing Free Themes:
    For step-by-step instructions, I suggest you start here and navigate through the links in the right sidebar:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/getting-started-video-guide/

    That will help you familiarize Kadence.

    Theme Compatibility:
    The free Kadence theme is compatible with editors such as Gutenberg/WordPress, Elementor, and other page builder plugins. It’s standard for WordPress themes to be compatible with any page builder and editor. Additionally, Kadence theme is compatible with any well-coded plugins as we build our products in line with the WordPress codex guidelines & standards.

    Recommend installation process:
    You can install it just like the other WordPress themes and there’s no special requirements in order for the free Kadence theme to work properly.

    Customization Options:
    We don’t have a list of what can and what can’t do in the free Kadence theme. WordPress free themes have different free functionalities.

    You can personalize elements such as colors, fonts, and layouts.

    Support and Updates:
    We regularly update the free Kadence theme — you can see the changelog here:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/kadence-theme/changelog/

    We also provide free support for our free users — more info here:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/free-support-tickets/

    We no longer add new features for the classic themes, but we still provide support and fix errors.

    You can always reach out to us if you encounter any issues with our product(s).

    It appears that all my ‘theme options’ pages are blank on the Android version. I have already tried disabling all plugins and switched to the main (not child) theme to check for conflicts, but unfortunately, I haven’t had any success. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions on how to troubleshoot this issue on the Android platform? If needed, I can provide temporary login credentials for further assistance.

    Hi Gabi,

    Thanks for the link to the page and screenshots.

    It appears the HTML codes are broken — here’s also an example: https://share.zight.com/Z4up9LA6

    The article tags must be wrapped inside the post grid div tags.

    I checked this on my test site using the updated versions of the Kadence Blocks and Kadence Blocks Pro, but didn’t have the same issue — here’s a video: https://share.zight.com/yAune2Q6

    They are not updated on your website. Can you please update them? If the issue persists, please clear all types of caches (website, server, CDN, etc.).

    If it still does not make a difference, can you please try to deactivate all the plugins temporarily, except for the Kadence Blocks and Kadence Blocks Pro?

    You can troubleshoot your website without breaking it on the frontend using the Health Check plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

    Let us know how it goes.

    Best,
    Chito

    I created a 404 custom page following the instructions here:
    and it works well everywhere in my site, except on pages generated by another plugin (when the 404 is for a path for those other pages it shows a regular not found page without the kandence 404 custom element)
    The 404 is called in that plugin template like this:
    global $wp_query;
    $wp_query->set_404();
    status_header(404);
    nocache_headers();
    get_query_template(‘404’);
    exit();
    Any advise on how to update that code to show 404 generated by that plugin to show the Kandence 404 element as on the rest of the site?
    Thanks,

    Hello, I operate a website where we want to verify a user is a certain age. Click Yes, they proceed to the site. Click No, they go to Google.

    I have created an Age Gate using the popup feature in Kadence conversions, but how do I link the Yes button to simply proceed to the current page they are wishing to view. When I link the Yes button to “Dyanmic Content – Post URL” the site will often direct you to a different URL after clicking yes.

    Is there anyway I can simply allow the user to click yes and proceed to their desired page? This only popups their very first time on the site, then goes away.

    Thank you.

    #286375

    Currently, there’s no animation setting for the Advanced Slider block. You can have Fade / Slide transition type.

    Yes I mean the fade or slide animations have never worked for me for some reason?

    Use a child theme to enqueue your JS file.

    When I set scroll animations nothing happens. Aos is never being loaded into the page, I have to manually enqeueu aos. Surely this is not normally required. Why would aos no get loaded when I set the animations?

    Hi there,

    On my homepage, I have two rows set to the “Parallax” option for scrolling, I think they look cool. It’s the USA National Parks row and the Digital Nomad row. The parallax works great on both desktop and mobile.

    On mobile, the title image at the very top is custom. On desktop I have a carousel of 3 images that alternate, but on mobile it’s just one static image with a color overlay.

    I would like to have that top title image do a parallax or fixed scroll on mobile only. In the editor, I went to my mobile view, then to Style > Background Image > Background Image Attachment. I selected Parallax and saved changes, cleared all caches on WordPress and browser, but it didn’t work. So then I tried a few combinations of things, like Parallax Scroll with a Cover or Auto image size, Fixed Scroll with a Cover or Auto image size, etc etc. All it does is remove the background image completely and only maintain the overlay gradient colors (unless maybe it’s zooming in on the photo so close that you can’t tell what it is anymore, making it look like the photo has disappeared). Every time it didn’t work I tried clearing my caches again so that must not be the problem.

    I’m clearly missing something, any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Claire

    I also have two Advanced Gallery image carousels on the home page that do not scroll or have any scroll arrows when viewed on a tablet.

    #286371

    Hi there,

    On my home page, I have a bunch of Post Grids set to the “carousel” layout. When I click on tablet view in the editor, it looks fine. It’s still a carousel. But when I borrow my friends iPad to see if it actually looks right on a real tablet, it doesn’t. The Post Grid is suddenly a “grid” layout instead of a carousel, and the grid wraps around into 3 rows which is excessive. How do I fix this?

    Page here.

    Thanks,
    Claire

    #286370

    Hello on my clients website, on the blog page link the post grid looks kind of “broken”. It happened after I have update to WordPress 6.3.2., to Kadence Blocks – PRO Extension 2.0.16., to Kadence Blocks – Gutenberg Blocks for Page Builder Features 3.1.23. and Acsend Premium to 1.9.28.
    Here are some pictures of the code issue:
    – valid post
    – broken post

    I has something to do with links? Or with special characters in blog title?
    Can you please give me some advice, thanks in advance, Gabi

    2) blog category page:

    If i setup an image with dimension 800×533, i continue to see a square 1:1 image. How i can resolve?

    Please let me know.

    Hi, Aaron!

    I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

    I tried replicating the issue on my website but I didn’t have an issue with the browsers for the select options’ text color. Here’s a screen recording for your reference – https://share.zight.com/v1un9nZ7

    Could you send us a page URL where we can see the form? Mark your reply as private so only you and the support team can see the URL. This should let us inspect the page of styles applied and recommend better solution to the issue.

    Kind regards,
    Karla
