    Hi Katia,

    Thanks for writing in.

Breadcrumbs is part of the page title, and you will need to display the title.

If you’d like to disable the title and still want to display the breadcrumbs, you can use this shortcode: [kadence_breadcrumbs]

You can put that in Gutenberg Shortcode block or in Kadence Text (Adv) and use the DIV heading tag.

To add it to multiple/all pages, you can use a hooked element.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Chito

    Hi Kadence team,
I use the social links widget.
    The problem I’m having is:
whatsapp: should I just fill in the phone number or should I put something else? When I enter only the phone number, with +xx xxx xx xx xx it doesn’t work.
1- Should I enter something other than the phone number ?

email: I’d like to use a personal shortcode ([secure_email mail=”[email protected]”])in the content of my pages to make my email addresses clickable (with a mailTo) and encode them so that they’re not detected by robots. The shortcode works fine on my pages, but not when I enter it in the widget field.
2- Are shortcodes not interpreted in the social networks widget?

3- Are the links/informations entered in these fields encrypted?

Thank you and have a nice day

    Hi Kadence team,
I can’t see the breadcrumb on my pages.
Perhaps it’s because I’ve deactivated the display of the title?
If that’s the case, how can I keep the page title deactivated and still have the breadcrumb ?
Thank you and have a nice day

    Hi Chrilles,

    Thanks for the update.

I see why the issue happened. EM is relative to the font size of its closest parent element. Your paragraph will scale depending on the size of the container (page content, container block (i.e., Row Layout, etc.), which can lead to inconsistent or unexpected sizes.

By switching to REM, the size was locked in based on the root and ignored any inherited styles, ensuring a consistent appearance.

For layout and font sizing in Gutenberg and modern themes, it’s generally safer to use PX or REM units to avoid unexpected scaling, especially in deeply nested block structures.

I’ll go ahead and mark this ticket as solved.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

Deactivate plugins one by one (starting with heavy ones like page builders or SEO tools) to identify any conflicts. Use Query Monitor to pinpoint resource-heavy plugins.

    Helló,
Cadence Blocks (free) slows down the admin page.
Everything else is fast but editing pages is slow because pages load slowly and saving takes a long time or doesn’t happen at all.
This is the same with other themes. If I disable the cadence plugin, everything is fast again.
    Please help.
    ThankYou

    Hi there,

We’d like to provide you guidance on this.

Does the issue with the page editor happen with all of your posts/pages? Usually issues like this is caused by a plugin conflict.

Perform a plugin deactivation test and make sure to leave the Kadence plugins active and deactivate ALL other plugins one by one: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/temporarily-deactivating-plugins/

If the issue will persist after that, please go through our troubleshooting guide (the ones you haven’t gone through yet) so we can rule out some possible causes: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/how-to-troubleshoot-your-website/

Let us know how we could help you further.

    Hi Chrilles,

    Thanks for writing in.

From the screenshots you shared, the paragraphs appear to be the same. However, the one on the frontend does seem to use a slightly larger font size.

To confirm if there’s a real difference in font family or size, you can inspect the paragraphs using your browser’s developer tools. This article explains how to do that:
    https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/chrome-inspect-tool/

If the styles appear identical but still look different visually, we recommend clearing all caches on your website and checking again.

We’d also be happy to take a closer look. If you’d like further assistance, please open a ticket using one of the following support pages and include temporary admin access:

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, in this case, a bit of patience is needed. Even after everything is set up correctly, it can take a few days to a few weeks for Google to update the favicon in search results. This delay is on Google’s side, as their bots re-crawl and re-index sites on their own schedule.

You can try to speed up Google’s re-crawling process using a few methods, though it’s ultimately up to Google when it updates the favicon in search results. Here’s what you can do:

    1. Request indexing via Google Search Console If you haven’t already:

    – Go to Google Search Console
    – Enter your site URL in the top search bar.
    – If it’s indexed, click “Request Indexing”. This asks Google to re-crawl the page.

This doesn’t guarantee an immediate update, but it often speeds things up.

    2. Submit your sitemap. Make sure your sitemap is submitted and up to date:

    – In Search Console, go to Index > Sitemaps
    – Submit your sitemap (usually: yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml)

This ensures Google is aware of your content changes.

It usually takes a few days to a few weeks — Google doesn’t provide a fixed timeline.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Best,
    Chito

    #293973

    Hello,

    Thanks for writing in.

Kadence Blocks doesn’t always register its block content as translatable strings in Polylang by default. Kadence Blocks store content as part of the page/post content (in Gutenberg format), and do not register translatable strings, so they won’t appear in the Strings Translation area.

To translate content created with Kadence Blocks, use Polylang’s recommended workflow for posts/pages:

    1. Go to the Page/Post in the Editor
    – Edit the original page or post built with Kadence Blocks.

    2. Use the Polylang Language Metabox
    – In the right sidebar, locate the Language section.
    – Click the “+” icon next to the language (e.g., Hungarian) to create a translation.

    3. Create a New Version in the Other Language
    – A new post is created for the translated version.
    – Change the “Submit” button label manually.

You can use the “Duplicate Post” plugin or a similar method to clone the page and translate manually.

If you’re doing a large multilingual site, consider:

    – WPML: Offers tighter integration with Kadence Blocks.
    – TranslatePress: Frontend visual translation, easier for blocks.
    – Manual duplication: Duplicate posts and translate each manually (works fine with Polylang).

Let me know if you need further assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Chito

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the screenshot.

I checked your website but didn’t see this -> https://share.zight.com/4guvLZQ9

If it’s missing or pointing to an invalid file, Google won’t recognize it.

Kindly upload the Site Icon in Appearance > Customize > Site Identity. See screenshot: https://share.zight.com/7Kulwqej

The Site Icon should be square and at least 512 by 512 pixels, as recommended by Google.

If you’d already uploaded one but it’s not reflecting when you inspect the page, kindly clear all the caches on your website and server.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Best,
    Chito

    Hello,

I can’t seem to be able to edit Submit button text in the Form block. I can’t find it in the block options.

I just need it to be translated to my webpage language, but I couldn’t find it in the string translations in Polylang either.

I tried to set the webpage language to Hungarian too but it didn’t do the trick.

Thank you very much in advance for helping out!

    Hi Kadence team,
I’m experiencing an issue related to the interaction between the transparent header and the sticky header.

    Here’s my settings:
    Sticky Header:
    – Logo: image-1.svg
    – Background color: #ffffff
    – Sticky settings: “Entire header”, visible on scroll up
When the transparent header is disabled, the sticky header works perfectly as expected when scrolling up.
However, as soon as I enable the transparent header, configured as follows:

    Transparent Header:
    – Different logo: image-2.svg
    – Background color: #000000 with opacity set to 0.3
…the transparent header displays correctly on page load, but when I scroll down and then back up (to trigger the sticky header), it seems like the sticky header does not apply its own styles. Specifically:
    – The logo remains the one from the transparent header (image-2.svg)
    – The background remains semi-transparent black instead of switching to the white background defined for the sticky header
=> It appears that the transparent header styles are persisting, and overriding the sticky header settings, including the logo, background color, and possibly other elements like navigation link colors and hover states.

    I’ve:

Verified all customizer settings (Sticky Header and Transparent Header)
    Cleared browser and site cache
    Disabled all plugins for testing

    Still, the issue remains.
Is this a known issue or expected behavior? Shouldn’t the sticky header fully override the transparent header once it’s triggered?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Yogi,

We like to provide you guidance on this.

Kadence doesn’t have this built-in but you can look into 3rd party plugins like the Duplicate Page plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-page/

If you want, you can also do this manually.

    1. Edit the page: Open the page you want to duplicate in the WordPress editor.
    2. Copy content: Select all the content (including text and any visual elements like images or videos) and copy it.
    3. Create a new page: Go to “Pages > Add New” and create a new blank page.
    4. Paste content: Paste the copied content into the new page’s editor.
    5. Adjust and publish: Make any necessary changes, add a title, and publish the new page.

Let us know how we could help you further.

    Kind Regards,

    Hey there!

I have put together a page using the block editor, and now I need to create an exact copy of it – I am talking all the content and blocks, precisely as they are. My goal is to then edit this duplicate page without affecting the original, kind of like making a new version.

Could you point me in the right direction on how to do this? Thanks a bunch!

    Regards,
    Yogi

I’ve mentioned this on the Facebook group but that just disappears over time.

I’d really love to see these toolsets and workflows merged.

My current workflow is to build my sliders in patterns, and load them in to blank slides in the slider editor.

What ideally I’d like is if I could just use a query loop/carousel like tool combined with a custom post type called ‘Sliders’ with categories, so you just add advanced sliders, change it to ‘use sliders pages’ , select your aspect ratio, select a category, and boom, it just loads in all sliders which are active.

You can sort of get close to this using the carousel, if you set it to just images, but the problem is: I design my sliders to look good in both desktop and mobile, with customised text, layout and hover effects. All doable with Kadence blocks, but I just can’t get it to combine these two features together.

I’ve had some try to explain how I can use various code or functions to hack the system, but it’s a bit of a mind bender, and not friendly

I work as a team, in a shop, and have to implement these to be as friendly to non-coders as possible. I just want someone to be able to tick ‘enable’ on a slider page, and boom, it’s enabled and now shows, drag and drop the order for ‘front page sliders’ or have minisliders available lower down the page etc.

it’s frustratingly so close to what Kadence can already do it seems like such an obvious win for the team. i’d appreciate it if the devs could look at doing something like this.

    Hi Kate!

There is an option in the Modal block settings to “Load Content After Footer”. This works for modal blocks outside the content area and avoids style issues like yours. Here’s our post about it: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/modal-block/#advanced

If enabling this option didn’t fix the issue for you, could you give me the page URL where I can see the modal blocks with the issue?

    #293926

    Hey there,

    I’m here to assist you.

Thanks for sharing the link to your website!

I had a look, and I do see a lot of images and tables displaying on the page. To better assist you, could you please send us screenshots of the specific content that’s missing or not displaying as expected?

This will help us quickly identify whether the issue is related to visibility settings, a layout conflict, or a plugin interaction. Once we can see exactly what’s not showing, we’ll be happy to guide you further.

    Kind regards,
    Chito
