Topic: Font Issues
June 2, 2025 at 9:05 pm #293911I’m hoping someone can help me. For some reason my fonts are being displayed incorrectly in places. It is happening on my iPhone and iPad but not my desktop. For example this page:
*Login to see linkThe body font is set to Lato Regular 18pt. I have also ensured all the text boxes are set to “Inherit body font”. I’m sure I am missing something really obvious. If I try and edit it, it initially displays as the correct font but then seems to go back to a times font. I seems to be an issue with the Text (ADV) as opposed to p block. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction please.
In forum: Kadence BlocksJune 1, 2025 at 9:43 am #293908thanks for the tip, but in my opinion this is not a good solution because it will mislead Google. For good SEO the language should be set to the same as the content on the page.

Hi Martyn!
Are you submitting the ticket to either of these pages?
– https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/premium-support/If you’re using a VPN, could you temporarily deactivate that and try submitting again? I can see some tickets from you before, so, oddly, you cannot submit a new one.
The HTML code that you want to add is not a shortcode name. Instead of using the Shortcode block, use the Custom HTML block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/custom-html-block/
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Thomas!
By default, the icons are set to be aligned vertically center.
I want to replicate the issue. Could you give me the details like:
– What was the Kadence Blocks version when you first created the buttons?
– Aside from the padding of the icons, do you remember setting other style/spacings?Or do the following:
1. Restore a revision from one of the pages with the issue.
2. Copy the Buttons(Adv) block with the alignment issue.
3. Paste the code to Pastebin so you can share all the Buttons(Adv) block settings with us.Let me know how I can assist you further with this.
In forum: Reply To:May 28, 2025 at 12:20 pm #293880Hey there,
Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.
First off, I want to say your website looks great. I ran a PageSpeed Insights test on your website, and the scores came out all in the green. Here are the results. Are you still facing issues with the PageSpeed? In general, when using a Theme and Plugins, your PSI Scores will decrease as you add content. So in return, Caching plugins help further optimize websites to improve these things.
- When testing with your previous theme, there are still many factors to consider. For example, when using the Kadence Theme, you are using the Header, Footer, and Theme Contents. When using the previous theme, you may be using less functionality, which may result in higher page load times. Kadence is considered fast, and in many cases, it is considered faster than popular options, such as Elementor. For example, here is an opinion piece on this topic.
- I also noticed your page has a very large DOM. The main thing I noticed in your results is that the LCP is a bit high. I suggest going over this document to learn how you can help improve LCP.
You mentioned you are having Plugin Conflicts with Caching plugins. When using a Caching plugin, there are many configuration combinations available. Each website is unique, so each configuration is also unique. Whenever styles break from Caching Plugins, you can often disable the related Cache Setting, or you can exclude the files involved from that specific form of Caching. We have a document that goes over identifying and excluding files for when these things occur. You can view it here. If you have a specific broken style you need help identifying, I’d be happy to assist. Just provide a screenshot and link to the page in question, and I can see if I can assist with excluding the file involved.
Mobile Responsiveness: Since you are using a Cache Plugin, I would suggest fully clearing all of your caches. This includes your Mobile Browser Cache and your Website Cache. We have a guide on this here. There is a high chance that if you made responsive changes in the Theme or Blocks while having Caching on, the cache may need to be cleared to show those changes. We often suggest designing your website before enabling Cache. Once the website is fully designed and ready to ship, you should enable and use Caching/Optimization features. This can help avoid cache-related conflicts.
- If the issue continues, consider sharing additional details on this issue. Which block are you experiencing this issue with, and which block setting? Can you also share a screenshot of your Block Settings involved? Thanks!
Header Builder Bugs: This is expected. When using a Cache Plugin, you will often need to clear your Caches after making changes. As mentioned above, this is why it is recommended to design your website without Caching initially enabled. If your website is already in production, I suggest consistently clearing your Cache after making changes. This includes changes to the Theme, Posts, Pages, or anywhere else that may change what is shown on the front end.I hope this helps.

May 27, 2025 at 9:49 pm #293872Hi morningsidekick,
Have you tried using the Classic block? It’s a special block in the WordPress editor that works more like a traditional text editor, similar to how the old WordPress editor worked before Gutenberg was introduced.
You can view a quick screen recording here for reference: https://share.zight.com/wbudLqBx
You’re definitely not alone in expecting the WordPress editor to behave more like a document editor such as Microsoft Word. This is a common point of confusion, so I’m happy to explain how Gutenberg differs.
Gutenberg is built around a block-based layout system, which is designed more like a page builder than a word processor. Each type of content — like paragraphs, headings, lists, and images — is placed in its own block, with its own styling and spacing rules.
In Microsoft Word, pressing Enter creates a simple line break, and formatting like paragraph spacing is controlled behind the scenes. In Gutenberg, pressing Enter creates a new Paragraph block, which includes default spacing above and below it. That’s why you’re seeing those extra blank lines between your sentences or items.
While this behavior might feel less intuitive at first, it gives you more control over layout and design, especially for creating structured, responsive content on the web.
If you’re looking for a more straightforward, document-like editing experience, the Classic block can be a great solution. It allows you to write continuously in one field, just like in Word, and it handles line breaks and formatting more traditionally.
Best regards,

May 27, 2025 at 3:22 pm #293870Hi Stefan,
I’m glad you reached out. I’ll be happy to help!
The “title” attribute that you are referring to is a valid SVG attribute and is not the same as a page title tag. SVG icons can have a title attribute (much the same way images have ALT attributes) and is typically used for accessibility purposes. The attribute is valid and should not be flagged by your application since it resides within the SVG element. If you’re interested in reading more about SVG title tags, please see this document: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/SVG/Reference/Element/title
Please let us know if you have any further questions or if we can do anything else to assist.
Thanks!
AnthonyIn forum: Kadence ThemeMay 27, 2025 at 3:03 pm #293869Hello!
I’m glad you reached out. I’ll be happy to help!
To set a different page layout for your shop page and categories, you’ll first want to set your Customizer setting (Appearance → Customize → WooCommerce → Product Catalog to Normal (no sidebar).
Next, edit your shop page (go to Pages and locate your Shop Page), and click the Page Settings icon in the upper-right of your screen. Here you can change the layout for this page (i.e. set a left sidebar) as well as select which sidebar you’d like to see (i.e. Sidebar 1 or 2). Save your page and you should be all set!
Here’s a screenshot showing the page settings: https://share.zight.com/geuQPP0P
Let us know if you have any questions or if you need anything else.
Thanks!
AnthonyIn forum: Kadence ThemeMay 27, 2025 at 1:41 pm #293868How can I set my Shop page layout to left sidebar layout, and my Product Category pages Layout to full width?
I want to display a filter widget (Filter Everything Pro) in the sidebar for my shop page only! The product category pages should be full width without a sidebar.
How to do this? I’m unable to choose different layouts for Shop main page and product category pages in Appearance –> Customize –> Woocommerce –> Product Catalog.

Hi Thomas!
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you here.
I checked your page on three browsers (Firefox, Safari, and Chrome). All the icons are vertically center: https://share.zight.com/rRuKzv74
Could you confirm if the issue has been resolved?

AnonymousMay 23, 2025 at 11:46 am #293847Hi there,
This is the default behavior of Gutenberg paragraphs. If you press the “Enter” key, it will use a double spacing. If you don’t want that, you can key in Shift + Enter for a single spacing.
You can refer to this page for more information: https://www.greengeeks.com/tutorials/change-line-spacing-wordpress/
Another option is to go to Customizer >> General >> Typography. Then on the Base Font option, adjust the line height: https://share.getcloudapp.com/bLu05drQ
Let us know how we could help you further.
Kind Regards,
Michael TaroIn forum: Kadence ThemeMay 23, 2025 at 2:02 am #293844Hi Support Team,
Houston, we have a problem. While testing the mobile view, I noticed that the burger menu includes its own <title> tag (“Toggle menu” I suppose that’s how it’s called in English).
As a result, there are two <title> tags on the same page — one in the <head> and another within the menu.
SISTRIX (*Login to see link is reporting this as an error, and we’re concerned that it might negatively affect how Google indexes the page.
Could you please take a look and see if the title tag in the burger menu can be removed or handled differently?
Thanks a lot and best regards,
Stefan
