It’s honestly surprising that after 4 years of user reports, the transparent header still doesn’t work out-of-the-box on 404 pages in Kadence. The required solution is literally a 2-line hook:

    add_filter( 'kadence_post_layout', function( $value ) {
    	if ( is_404() ) {
    		$value['transparent'] = 'enable';
    	}
    	return $value;
    });

That’s all. No hacks, no workarounds — just a proper filter call that applies the same logic already used on regular pages and posts.

Users shouldn’t have to dive into functions.php, inspect CSS inheritance, or override theme behavior just to fix something that should take a Kadence developer two minutes to implement as a checkbox in the Customizer under “General → 404 Layout”.

It’s like selling a car where most features are activated from the dashboard, but to turn on the headlights, you have to open the hood and rewire something manually.

    This is basic theme logic.

    Hi there,

We like to provide you guidance on this.

Check the page/post content for invalid characters that the database may not know how to save. You might need to remove some unicode characters, emojis, and/or any unsupported characters copied from external sources will prevent you from saving or updating your posts on WordPress.

    Hey there,

Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.

When using a Template Element on your Archive Pages, it will take over many customizer settings, such as the Breadcrumbs. You can use a Shortcode to display them within the Template Element.

You can add a ShortCode Block to your Category Template Element and use the [kadence_breadcrumbs] shortcode to display the breadcrumbs accordingly. You can click here to learn more about the Kadence Breadcrumbs Shortcode.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if this works for you.

    Hey there,

Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.

I’m not entirely sure how this plugin adds Custom Posts. It looks like this plugin is a bit different than the standard plugins like WooCommerce/Surecart. I looked through the documentation on this plugin and couldn’t find anything related to the Breadcrumbs.

By default, without Kadence involved, do these products show Breadcrumbs on their default Single Product Pages? For example, if you are adding this shortcode via a Hooked Element, try disabling the Element completely. Then, see if the Breadcrumbs show on the single product page. Please let me know your results.

I downloaded this plugin, and it doesn’t show Custom Posts the same way they usually show up. This might be because I do not have an Amazon API set up with the plugin. If the Custom Post Types do not register the same as standard ones, then Kadence might be limited in detecting them in our breadcrumbs. I suggest reaching out to the ASA2 team and seeing if they have a Shortcode or solution for adding the Breadcrumbs to custom templates.

    I hope this helps.

Hi team, I noticed that all my buttons were out of alignment yesterday.
Whereas a few weeks ago I put in a lot of effort and time to get them right on each page and different screen sizes.

The arrow(icon) inside the button does not align correctly anymore within the button.
It seems that I have to adjust them all.
    What could be the issue?
I have the idea it has to do with one of the recent updates.
Is there a way to group the buttons and adjust them all at once?

    Kind regards
    Thomas

Did anyone find a fix for this if you want pages on desktop settings to be full width but mobile to have margins?
Or some custom css to add left/right margins/padding on mobile?

    #293780

    Hi there!

Apologies for missing your response here. Kindly open a new topic next time for better visibility.

The RTL styles of the Kadence theme are applied automatically if you’re website language is an RTL language. While there is no specific option to enable RTL, you can add a post-specific CSS code.

The option can be found in the “Kadence Blocks Controls” and, if you have the Kadence Blocks Pro addon. Here’s a link to our documentation: Page Scripts(Blocks Pro)

The CSS code that you can use is:
    body { direction: rtl; }

I hope this helps and let me know if I can assist you further.

    Hello,

In customize, I activated the breadcrumb trail, but I don’t see it on my blog article category page. I would like to create a return link to the blog; is that possible?

I created an element for all blog categories. Could that be the issue ?

Same problem a few weeks ago – GoDaddy – Kadence Support – PHP version changes – Plug In conflict – all pointed to Kadence block – I ended up reverting the Kadence Block to previous version – and I was able to edit pages and posts again. Then at some point there were some updates and I tested an updated version – and it worked again properly and I could edit using an up to date version. The version at that point was 3.4.9.

Well today it stopped working again – I tested everything again thinking it was something else – only to go full circle – and reinstall previous version 3.5.6 of Kadence block plugin – and back to normal – ugh.

I really the Kadence theme and plug in – but it’s mess when this thing keeps happnening. And I have a few other clients using the same plug in – but so far is only one on my client sites.

    Hope this helps.

Why You Don’t See Dates on Google Search Results (And What You Can Do)
If you’ve ever searched for something online—like a game mod or guide—and noticed there’s no date next to the results, you might wonder if the information is outdated. This is especially important when you’re trying to find the most recent version of something, like a game update or modified app.

So, what’s really going on when Google skips the date?

🧠 Reasons Google Might Not Show the Date
    1. The Page Isn’t Time-Sensitive
Google tries to highlight relevance over recency. If an article or page stays useful for a long time (like a general guide or download link), Google might hide the date to avoid misleading users into thinking it’s out of date—even if it’s still accurate.

    2. The Site Doesn’t Show It Clearly
Sometimes the date is simply missing in the page’s code or not marked properly with structured data. This is common on sites that host downloads, walkthroughs, or game tips. If the page doesn’t show when it was published or updated, Google often leaves it out.

    3. The Type of Search Affects It
When you search for something general like a game name or app, Google may hide the date. But if you search for a specific version or add words like “latest” or a year (e.g., 2025), you’re more likely to see recent content in the results.

🕹 A Quick Example: Game Mods and Updates
Say you’re looking for a modified version of a mobile volleyball game with enhanced features unlocked. It’s useful to know which version you’re downloading—but if there’s no date on the search result, it’s harder to tell if it’s current.

That’s where your search strategy helps:

Add “latest version” or a specific month/year.

Use Google’s “Tools” → “Any time” option to filter by date.

Check inside the page for version numbers, update notes, or changelogs.

    ✅ Final Tips
Whether you’re downloading a spike game, reading a guide, or checking out a tutorial, the missing date doesn’t always mean the content is outdated—it just means Google thinks the time factor isn’t the most important thing for that result.

Still, with a few small tweaks to your search habits, you can stay on top of the most current and trustworthy info.

Not seeing the publication date of your blog posts in Google search results? You’re not alone—it’s a common hiccup for many site owners, especially when using themes like Kadence or posting tech-related content such as app guides or tools like FRP Bypass.

Let’s break down what’s going on—and how to fix it—so your content looks more trustworthy and up-to-date in search.

🔍 Why the Date Might Be Missing
    Your Theme Doesn’t Display It
Some themes let you hide or show the post date. If the date isn’t displayed on the page, Google may not know to include it in search results.

Structured Data Is Missing or Broken
Google often uses structured data (also called schema) to pick up key info like the date published. If your site’s code doesn’t include it—or it’s incorrect—Google won’t display the date.

Google Hasn’t Reindexed Your Page Yet
Even if everything is set up correctly, Google might not have crawled your updated content yet. It can take some time for changes to reflect in search.

    Cache Is Blocking Updates
Site caching (from plugins or your server) can serve older versions of your pages to Google. Until the cache is cleared, your latest updates might not be seen.

Custom Post Types Aren’t Showing Dates
If you’re using a custom post type (like a tutorial or download post for something like FRP Bypass APK), it might not support date fields unless specifically enabled.

🛠️ How to Fix It (Step-by-Step)
✅ 1. Enable Date Display in Your Theme
Go to your WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Customize.

Find the Blog Post or Single Post settings.

Make sure “Show date” is turned on.

💡 Showing the date builds trust, especially for posts that cover time-sensitive tools or tutorials.

✅ 2. Add or Improve Structured Data
Install an SEO plugin like Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or Schema Pro.

These plugins help add proper datePublished and dateModified fields automatically.

Pro Tip: Use Google’s Rich Results Test to make sure your post’s structured data is set up correctly.

    ✅ 3. Clear All Caches
Clear your WordPress cache (via plugin).

Clear your server cache if your host provides one.

Clear your CDN cache if you’re using services like Cloudflare.

✅ 4. Resubmit Your Sitemap to Google
In Yoast SEO, go to General > Features and confirm XML sitemaps are turned on.

Then go to Google Search Console and resubmit your sitemap.

This tells Google to take another look at your site.

    ✅ 5. Be Patient—Google Works in Batches
Even after everything is fixed, Google might take several days (or weeks) to reflect the changes in search results. It’s normal—just stay consistent.

🧠 Why This Matters—Especially for Tech Content Like FRP Bypass
If you’re publishing tech tutorials, especially on tools like FRP Bypass APK that are used to unlock Android devices, having a visible date is essential:

Trust & Relevance: Users need to know the method you’re showing still works. An old, undated post might lead them to outdated steps or even harm their device.

SEO Boost: Google prefers fresh content. Showing your post’s publication or updated date helps with ranking.

Legal Clarity: When writing about tools like FRP Bypass, it’s helpful to show the date so readers understand the legal and functional context (methods and policies change often).

    ✅ Final Takeaway
The missing date in Google search results might seem minor, but fixing it can improve trust, search visibility, and user experience—especially for tech posts where users need to know how current your advice is.

If you ever share content involving tools like FRP Bypass, keeping things up to date—and clearly dated—shows you’re providing safe, responsible, and relevant help.

    Thanks, Teejay.

Sorry I cannot give you a link as the page in is our unpublished redesigned website in progress. But thanks to your screen recordings I was able to solve the problem adjusting the header and content padding, and header line height.

    Many thanks!

    #293725

    Hi Konrad,

    I’d be happy to help.

Currently, the block doesn’t have a built-in field specifically or hooks for credits, but your idea of using an existing image field (like the Alt Text or Caption) to store the credit and then displaying it nearby is a smart approach.

I would recommend to use the caption option as it will be visible on the page/post. Check the screencast for reference: https://share.zight.com/4guvlZn9

You could technically use JavaScript to inject the credit from a data- attribute placed on the image, which would allow you to control where and how the photo credit appears. However, implementing this would require a level of customization that’s unfortunately beyond the scope of our support.

I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

    Topic: Photo Credits

    #293722

German law requires us to include photo credits close to the photo or at least on the same page as the photo. I’d love to implement this with the “Image (Adv)” block, but don’t have an idea on how to do it. My basic idea is to use one of the image fields to contain the appropriate information, and then output it. As the basic layout, I’d like to do it like we do it on futur2.org — I’ve enclosed a screen shot of what that looks like.

Are there hooks I can go into? Do I need to bolt it on with JavaScript?

    #293714

    Hi There,

    I’d be happy to help.

You can definitely hide post metadata without needing a plugin. Kadence provides options to control this right within the Customizer:

    • Go to Appearance > Customize > Blog Posts > Single Post Layout (for individual posts) or Blog Posts > Archive Layout (for categories/tags, etc.).
    • Scroll down to find Title elements(single post layout) or Post Item Elements(Archive layout).
    • Disable the toggles for Author, Date, Comments, and Categories.

This will remove the metadata from posts and archive views.

    Check the quick video: https://share.zight.com/7KuloY2O

    Check the documentation here: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-setup-page-post-settings/

    #293709

Hi folks – I want to hide the metadata on posts – (obvs it’s fine on pages) but when I do a category I get author / comments / category names etc

And ideally – I want ALL of that to disappear.

Any clues as to how to achieve this without paying for a plugin!

    Thanks in advance

    #293701

I’m using the Kadence Theme in this website and have created a custom element. I’ve set the display settings to “None” because I want to show this element manually via shortcode wherever I need.

However, when I try to place the shortcode (e.g., [element_shortcode id=”123″]) in a page or post, nothing appears on the frontend. I’ve tried clearing the cache and tested with different placements, but still no luck.

Can you please guide me on how to properly display a custom element using a shortcode in Kadence? Or is there a specific way to make this work?

I am also noticing that when viewing the page on mobile resolution the sticker header “jumps” when you make the first scroll down the page. After that it is fine. It’s almost like it’s “jumping” over that 1 pixil white line.
