Hi there,

I have recently been diving into optimizing my website as much as possible. As part of that endeavour I have found that my homepage fusico.digital has been loading Montserrat 400. By extension it also pops up in Pagespeed Insights as “preload key requests”. I don’t want to preload this font as it is seemingly not used on my page. I have gone through the fonts a few times without luck. I only use 2 fonts and they are only defined in the Kadence customizer. “Open Sans 400” for body text and “Montserrat 700” for titles. (on blog posts “Open Sans 700” is also used sometimes, but this is not on the home page.

Is there any way to prevent my page from loading this additional font weight – Montserrat 400?

ps. attached image is from GTMetrics, I intentionally did not preload the undesired font.

In the theme settings, go to Header, you can enable “Enable Transparent Header?” and it works for the site, but it does not work for the 404 page.

When I go to General, 404 Page Layout, this same option is not available… and the site header is not transparent.

How do I enable the transparent header on the 404 Page?

Ben, I just tested it on a brand new Galaxy A12 I acquired and I do indeed encountered the problem. I open the site and I get the slideshow on the mobile device as I’m supposed to. But then I visit any other page, Staff Picks for example, then return to the homepage and within seconds the music from the video begins playing even though the mobile slideshow is playing.

On the other matters, I can certainly add a fallback image for the video, I didn’t realize I had to.

I’m very confused about starting it muted though. Wouldn’t that prevent the sound component from working? And this seems to be working on all desktop devices and across all browsers just fine. I’m clearly not understanding something.

Hi, I’m afraid I’m working locally and can’t show the clients branding on this. I’ve attached a blurred out screen grab.

Basically, I just need more space for the menu on the right to extend a bit over through the centre of the page.

I’m new to Kadence and normally work in Elementor Pro which lets you organise the space the logo and menu take up in whatever way you choose.

If you can help with this I would be very grateful.

Here there, I m using kadence theme for my job posting website but I m unable to show pagination at the bottom of the page.
The only showing 9 govt jobs but I have more than 53 posts for jobs, Now I want to add pagination at the bottom please check and let me know.

Apologies! I thought this was for the Kadence theme.

I tried to replicate this on my test site. However, Use Infinite Scroll on Blog pages is not working on my end.

I will forward this to the development team to check on it.

Hi there,

To clarify, are you trying to adjust the spacing between blocks across the site?

There isn’t a way to set default spacing between blocks on the Customizer.

You can adjust the spacing on your page editor using margin/padding or use custom CSS to apply it sitewide.

If you want that option to be added to the Customizer, you can make a feature request here – https://www.kadencewp.com/roadmap-kadence-theme/feature-requests/.

I have transferred a site with a lot of posts under /blog/post-name for SEO reasons want to keep the “blog” part in the permalink – so in settings > permalink, the structure is

Custom Structure example.com /blog/%postname%/

However, when enabling “Use Infinite Scroll on Blog pages” in settings it does not remove the pagination nor enable the infinite scroll. Is there a way to enable it on the custom permalink as mentioned above?

Yes, this is correct. If the products under a specific category only have that category selected for them, then they will be the only products you’ll see on the navigation.

I go to prebuilt layout, then import/export, then download and…………..nothing.

Thanks for reaching out! Here is a response from the developer regarding a similar query:

This is an error and will go away. The actual real fix is to speed up your site which can help the google bot to download all your content.
Let me explain, if you go here you can run a test that google is doing to check your site: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly
I just ran the test and it shows mobile friendly. https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly?id=AD2YyvO6leThwethM3rybQ
However in the top left you can see “page loading issues”. When you click on that you can see that the “Page partially loaded”
This usually means that google timed out while trying to load your site, they don’t give mobile sites much time and in that if some of the styling isn’t installed then you can show as not mobile-friendly because they didn’t wait for all the styling to load.
The best thing is to give it some time, google will correct itself but also take the time to make sure you are following good practices for site performance.

If K Gallery cannot allow autoscroll, can we build a similar gallery containing a number of small images in Kadence Slider?

I would like all my archive pages to have the same styling as the page template, not just the blog page. As stated above, I use category descriptions for most of my categories and this results in some styling uniformity issues, especially with dark site backgrounds. Maybe this could be added to the future suggestion list?
