In reply to: How to add a Virtue Gallery to a page
I think this plugin will do what you want- https://wordpress.org/plugins/photo-gallery/screenshots/
Create your gallery, generate the shortcode and paste that into the Kadence slider shortcode tab on the back-end of the featured page.Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi
My site is *Login to see linkThe New Arrivals section of the home page is from the Page Content of the static home page which has this code:
[recent_products per_page=”18″ columns=”6″ orderby=”date” order=”desc”]So it should show 6 columns in this section, not 5 (and extra space on the right). When I tried to change it to 4, it showed 4 (and the thumbnails got bigger as there was more space). So I think the page width is not big enough for 6 columns? (but then the product carousels before and after this section both have 6 columns)…
How can I fix this?
Thanks,

November 25, 2014 at 6:31 pm #23534Cool, I found the Virtue:Gallery (is a widget to add in the page builder. You have a tutorial about it but you dont say how to find it 🙁 ). It works fine. But I would like to:
– Use it in the featured space above the title, is it possible?
– Reuse this Virtue Gallery in other pages.Btw, I have spent hours searching for gallery plugins, I havent found a good one, I just need to create a thumbnail gallery but call it anywhere I want.
– Kan I do thumbnail galleries with the Kadence:Slider? when I change th height it crops the picture instead of resize it.Thanks
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Revolution Slider Taking Max Screen Width
Thanks for the replies. The problem with adding the css is that the inline style that is being generated is trumping that setting I believe? I put the css code in the style.css and that did not work. I also attempted to inject it into the homepage header but that did not work either.
Unfortunately my site is on my own server so it’s not live right now. I am indeed adding the slider through the theme options. Is there anyway to contain that darn slider?
Slider generated code:
<div class="sliderclass revslider_home_hidetop"> <!-- START REVOLUTION SLIDER 4.6.0 fullwidth mode --> <div id="rev_slider_2_1_wrapper" class="rev_slider_wrapper fullwidthbanner-container" style="margin:0px auto;background-color:#ffffff;padding:0px;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;max-height:540px;"> <div id="rev_slider_2_1" class="rev_slider fullwidthabanner" style="display:none;max-height:540px;height:540px;">In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Button at banner
In forum: Virtue ThemeNovember 25, 2014 at 1:41 pm #23503I know some users use this plugin: http://www.woothemes.com/products/product-vendors/
If you decide to use let me know you have to use a child theme to make one of the pages work with virtue. I can send the child theme your way.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello again Ben,
I have another theme conflict, which I have tested by switching to Storefront briefly.
Woocommerce Quick View by Woothemes aims to provide a modal lightbox for the basic product details, when the user clicks a special link on the product in the archive grid. The modal contains a cart link and selection box for variable products.
Unfortunately, in Virtue, the words “Choose an Option” do not appear, although they are present in the drop-down list. This is undesirable, because some users might not know that they have to make a selection.
Here is a link to the Shop page. *Login to see link To reproduce the fault, click the “Quickview” link in pale magenta at the foot of the product.
I would appreciate your advice with this problem.
Many thanks
Andrew
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Specify image dimensions
November 25, 2014 at 1:06 pm #23497The page speed increase for those areas is not really an issue. The images are small and if your server is set up should load without issue. The logo area is purposely left off so the retina logo loads correctly.
As for the carousel images. It’s again small but something I can add in a future update.

Yes! It worked! I just tested it in the home page and works fine! See it at http://wipgbdesign.com/muzika/
Many thanks again Ben. As usual Virtue Support Team Rocks!
ps: The only thing I have not been able to do is installing a non Google font for the Nav. You told me to use a child theme, but to be honest, I don’t know how to do it. I will think about it and try and try and try. Thanks any ways! You people Rock!!!!In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Image Menu Item
Hi,
I am trying to upload an image using the Image Menu Item on my Home page. I would like to shrink the image so that it fits into the container. I have resized it in Photoshop and it does shrink the image but when I upload it to the site it stays the same size . When resizing it in the Media Library image editor, it blurs and distorts.
Could you please help.Thanks
DanIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Problem with footer and WPML
Hello Ben! English is my default language, so when I add my translation e.g. text you see now as “Voici la traduction française” which I added to the String Translation tool, then I click on “translation is complete” then “save” and when I refresh; the translation that I added to the footer is actually in the footer, but also replaces every content I have in the body of every page of the french side of the website. This is really weird.
– You can see it at http://wipgbdesign.com/muzika/ click on the French switcher (top right) to see french side of website
– I want you to see what I mean by adding the text to the string tool of WPML, so I created a temporary page on my website where you can see a screenshot I took at http://www.gbwebandgraphicdesign.com/image-string/Hope this explain better my problem. Many thanks Ben.

November 25, 2014 at 10:36 am #23459Hey Nathaniel,
Auto responsive will make the slider fullwidth if added in the home page for example. You can add this css:.sliderclass { max-width: 1170px; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }Ben

November 25, 2014 at 9:37 am #23442Oliver,
Yes you need the whole url from http onwards.. like http://www.yoursite.com/#customanchorYou can use the text widget for less chance of the wordpress auto p effecting your javascript.
Sherif.
1. Yes you add all the elements on one page.
2. You can use an achor tag and not worry about findind any ids. for example:
<a name="mycustomanchor"></a>Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Scroll to Links
Hi Sherif, sorry to hear you are having a tough time finding the div. Using Chrome Inspect tool is the way to go, all I know is each Pagebuilder section will have a CSS div and a container div with an ID, my ID looks like this: <div class=”panel-grid” id=”pg-107-0″>
Make sure you have finished builder before adding them else they will get messed up as you add or change around sections.
Good luck
