November 20, 2014 at 2:24 am #23016You can use this css to target single product pages:
.single-product.woocommerce span.onsale { font-size: 20px; }And then for the catalog pages:
.`woocommerce span.onsale, span.onsale, .woocommerce #carouselcontainer span.onsale {
font-size: 16px;
}`Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello – I’m having a problem with the Virtue theme. I’m using Magic Member as a gateway for a video training site. I’m using the Virtue premium theme but when I try to use page builder to setup the video on secure page I’m not able to secure the video. Do you have any suggestions?

Ok Ben will do for future. Just thought as it was a continuation.
SO have a look now, the Support one goes of the page because of the 300px.
So, any way to make it so that each drop down is under the one above directly centered underneath. IE Home drop does not start near the icon of Home, but the center of the drop down is at the O in the case of home / P for support / O for account etc. Or to auto make it so the right Support one does not go off screen.Basically automatically ensure it takes into account the screen space so the menu boxes are not off screen.
Thanks
KavIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: On Sale and Sold flashes
Hi
I am doing a little work on the badges for products on sale (which I call “Special Offer”) and Sold (“Sold Out”).
Ideally I would like a diagonal flash (top left corner, rising 45deg from left to right). But in that case I think I would need a graphic because the ends would need to be mitred to 45 degrees to look right.
I can live with the existing style, but larger (perhaps 100% width).
The problem I have is that it is difficult to make one style work for both thumbnails on a category or Shop page and on the product detail page. Font size, for example, is either too large on the thumbnail or too small on the single product page.
Could you possibly give me some advice please? Do I perhaps need to buy one of the plugins that provides various badges?
Thank you.
Andrew

There’s no problem but where is advisable to upload the plugin folder? How can I add the script code in the header of the page? Sorry, I don’t know the structure of WP and usually the script go in the header of an html page, so before making a problem I ask you.
Thanks.Angelo

November 19, 2014 at 2:49 pm #22978Yeah you can add this css to your custom css box in the theme options > advanced settings:
.woocommerce-page #content div.product .woocommerce-tabs .tabs { display: none; } .woocommerce-page #content div.product .woocommerce-tabs .panel#tab-reviews { display: none; }Ben

November 19, 2014 at 1:53 pm #22963Hey,
No, that is’t a built in option. Closest thing is the custom carousel option on the home page,Ben

November 19, 2014 at 1:39 pm #22958I can’t see how, I can test on a local server and the excerpt shows even if I’m using pagebuilder. Do you have any other plugins that would be effecting your excerpt?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: using leaflet.js
Hello Ben,
is it possible to use leaflet.js with pinnacle theme? My question maybe cannot be related to theme itself but I’d like to create an homepage using leaflet.js.
Is there a specific place where to upload the plugin folder? is it related to wp structure if there’s a problem?Thank you
AngeloIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: No content on product pages
Hey Ben,
Thank you!
I like how it looks on the product page when I use the short description box… BUT now the whole text is showing on my SHOP(store) page, I still only want a snippet on this the shop page… not the whole text like on the product pageI would like to change the automatic title of the Related Products Carousel that displays on product pages from “Related Products” to “Other Adventures”
I also want to change the “Buy Now” text on the button to “Learn More”, and I would like to link it to the product page. Also, how can I change the button color from the default orange to a custom color for my theme? Is there custom CSS that will allow me to do this? Thanks!
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: portfolio publishing problem
Hi!
Don’t know if this is instrumental in this topic …
Ben, I had to flush my permalinks (>> manually in WP admin) after having updated to PINNACLE (!) 1.1.5 ’cause all links to existing portfolio-pages were broken.
My setup: I left blank (and still leave…) ‘Portfolio Permalink Base’ in Theme Options > Portfolio Options.
Q: Did You change the CPT’s default permalink base in PINNACLE lately?Best regards,
DirkIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: portfolio publishing problem
Nope. I tried every permalink setting, and reset the HTA access file to standard.

The links work perfectly in draft mode. Once published I get this:

Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.
It looks like this was the result of either:a mistyped address
an out-of-date linkRob

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Is Pinnacle More Flexible than Virtue?
November 19, 2014 at 2:06 am #22928Hey,
Pinnacle isn’t more flexible, It’s just different in design. Starting with the header. With pinnacle you can have a background image that is behind the header. Making the header transparent. Then it allows you to scroll down and that header switches logo and menu color. See the demo: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/That part is so different from virtue that you can’t achieve the same thing with virtue.
Then pinnacle offers the fullwidth, no margin portfolio layouts. like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/our-portfolio/
And it has different layouts for the products as well as posts.
Most of the differences is in the design.
Virtue on the other hand can have three menus in the header. Pinnacle doesn’t have that option. Virtue also has the widget area option for the header. So in a lot of ways virtues header area is more flexible or different from pinnacle. and the page title area is a different style from pinnacle.
It was in design to make the themes unique in that one doesn’t replace the other. The style is different and weather or not you want to use it depends on if you like that style.
