Hi
I’m having trouble resizing my home page kadence slider to suit a mobile device.
This is what I have come up with so far, this only seems to resize the image but the box size around it still remains the same so it looks as though I have left a large space between the slider and content underneath, please help.

Hi Ben,

A quick question – I used Pagebuilder for both the main page of a site and also for the posts. Is there a way to get rid of the Visual Editor title on that shows up on the blog summaries. Not the title of the blog post, but just the title of the first Visual Editor pane, which is the text that the blog summaries is picking up.

Here is the main page – the blog post summaries are the real estate listing a little after the fold on the landing page. In this case, the title from Visual Editor I am looking to get rid of is “Features” at the beginning of each entry.

I’m using W3 total cache, with compression and minify enabled — that seems to make a big difference, but still not enough. Also, Google PageSpeed Insights flags 3 of the Revolution slider files as still needing compression. The slider seems like part of the problem, but I need to keep it if possible.

Do you have any advice on what I should look at next?

In the portfolio options in the theme settings should I have the “/portfolio/” added to the permalink base? Right now the box is empty. All of the links of the portfolio item URL’s are correct, but the portfolio page can not find any portfolio item once published. Just about to pull my hair out on this one.

The original settings in the theme was the default – I left it blank.
The URL’s look like this http://www.homewoodpubliclibrary.org/portfolio/hoopla.
The slug from the options page is 247-library.

Hey so I see that your using pagebuilder. Makes this really easy, just create a new row with two columns. Add the video in one and text in the other.

I’m not seeing that, But I assume its probably caused by the slider full width option.

You should use a wide content row in pagebuilder, then turn off the “force full width” setting in the slider.

Hey,
That is just a link. You don’t need to add a script or anything then.
Just add that link in a footer widget area. Use the text widget. Note that it can take google up to a week to refresh your page and pick up the link, so give it some time.

Hello!

I’m trying to add a ‘Business Policies’ section in a footer column of my webpage, and i’m attempting to use the Visual Editor Widget in the Footer. I open up the Text tab in the Visual Editor and then use the link button to insert a link to another one of my Pages that I created called ‘Privacy Policy’. Everything seems to go well until I click the ‘Save’ button from within the Visual Editor. As soon as I click ‘Save’ the link that I just created in the text box disappears. When I view the site after clicking Save the only thing that is visible in the Footer is the title ‘Business Policies’ but not the actual link to the ‘Privacy Policy’ page. I know that the Privacy Policy page is working correctly because I can view it by navigating through the Pages section of my dashboard.

Any thoughts about what might be causing this issue? Thanks for the help!

OK, I was creating a new portfolio item and when I went to publish all of the links on my portfolio page broke and now no longer work. I have reset the settings in theme options and re-saved the permalinks and still nothing. Try adding this to your custom css box in theme options > advanced settings:

.headerclass {

}

display: none;
}

You’ll just need to add the page-id-# so that they are only hidden from that specific page.
