Hello,
I’ve recently discovered the Collapse to Rows option in the Kadence Row Layout block for tablet view, and I’m sad to say I wasn’t aware of this feature before. The problem is, I’ve already built over 500 pages using this block, and on tablet sizes (768–1024px), the layout often breaks visually: columns squish, images overlap, and it looks very awkward.
I tried multiple CSS approaches to force a mobile-like stacked layout for tablet, but they only work partially, i.e. the actual structure still behaves like desktop unless “Collapse to Rows” is manually enabled inside each block’s settings.
Is there a way to globally change the default Row Layout behavior for tablet view, so it always collapses like on mobile either through a filter, theme settings, or even a bulk database edit? Or any tool/plugin/workaround you recommend to apply this setting across existing content, without editing each my several hundred pages manually?
I’d really appreciate any ideas or insight.
Thank you!

Hi there!
I sent a screencast in my previous response. Here’s a link: https://share.zight.com/d5uQPk24
Here’s an actual page that you can look at and inspect: https://unrivalled-caribou-fe496e.instawp.xyz/customer-post-content/
I used the Image(Adv) blocks so the mobile views and layout can be configured:
1. On mobile max width settings, set the value to 800px.
2. On mobile margin settings, set the left and right options to auto. This will show the floating images at the center, and no texts will show too narrow.
Let me know how I can assist you further.

In forum: Membership ForumsIn forum: Kadence BlocksApril 4, 2025 at 8:13 pm #293491Is there a way of using the Advanced Query Loop when selecting the simple filter query for blog posts to add a search feature? Basically the same layout as used on the Kadence blog page. It has the pill buttons on the left, with a small search bar on the right
I prefer the look of the buttons to the drop down (in the advanced filter, which has the search feature).
I tried adding the advanced search block but this searches for everything on your site, with no way of just filtering posts.
Thanks in advance.

In forum: Kadence ThemeApril 4, 2025 at 10:08 am #293487Hello
I have the same problem. It only happens in the backend. Sometimes when I open a page, Kadence Blocks work fine, but other times, when I open the same page again, it shows ‘Kadence block not supported.’
I’m using version 3.2.34 of the plugin, and everything else is up to date. I have done same on my websiteIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Why top ofhero section dissapears behind header?
Hi Thomas,
Happy to help!
Yes, you are right, by default, the header should not overlay the page title area by default, but this is not the case for a transparent header. Can you confirm if you are using a transparent header:
https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-use-a-transparent-header/Can you also confirm if this layout is the same on all your post archive pages (e.g. post category pages)?
To better assist with this, could you please send us a link to your website?
We recommend that when sending links to your websites, kindly check “set as private reply” before submitting your reply.

April 4, 2025 at 1:50 am #293480Unfortunately I have not been able to try the first suggestion as I have quite a few pages now so won’t be taking them out of the Row layout. If I placed the paragraph directly on the page then needed a row layout halfway, the spacing was off so decided to do the row layout throughout.
In terms of the image, does the suggested way look good on mobile? Would love to see an example.

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: add page title to Kadence Form as a hidden value?
Hi there!
Apologies for the long delay.
Yes, you can do that by using dynamic placeholders. Here’s our doc about it: https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-blocks/form-block/#using-dynamic-placeholders
These are dynamic placeholders related to the pages:
–{page_title}
–{page_url}I hope this helps, and let me know if I can assist you further.
In forum: Kadence BlocksIn reply to: Additional field (vat number)
April 1, 2025 at 4:14 pm #293459Hi There,
Yes, you can add an additional field like VAT number to the order in WooCommerce.
To do this in the block version, you can use the Kadence Shopkit plugin which allows you to customize checkout fields, which allows you to add custom fields to the checkout page. You can add the VAT number field through this plugin, and it will reflect in the order details.
I hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist you further.

April 1, 2025 at 3:57 pm #293458Hi Thomas,
The Advanced Header does not have a built-in conditional option, but we have an existing feature request for this. I have added this feature request on your behalf and marked this ticket to follow up if the team does add this functionality:
https://feedback.kadencewp.com/p/add-conditional-display-options-for-advanced-header-blockAs a workaround, you can replace the header on any of the pages with the Advanced Header using Hooked Elements:
https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-use-element-hooks/You can add the advanced header to Kadence Elements and have it replace the header on your preferred page. Here is a demo screencast for your reference: https://share.zight.com/YEuYlWlY
I hope this helps, please let us know if we can assist you further.

Hi there!
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you here.
“Is there a way to set the line height for the content of all blog posts?”
The Kadence Theme will use the “Base font” typography settings for all Paragraphs. This will make all the content text line heights uniform unless you edit the typography block settings of each block in the content.
Could you give me a page URL where the line heights are not equal? I’d like to check the blocks used and their styles.
“Just wondering if there is a way to make it always the same colour on all posts?”
The post meta settings should be applied to all. Could you give us page URLs if you’re seeing different colors? In forum: Membership ForumsHi support scrolled on the forum but could`nt find a clear answer.
I have 1 website with different landing pages per geographical location, now I want for each landingpage a different/seperate header + for each header I need to link the “home” naviation tab to that particular geographical landing page.
I have a main website with a header that I built in the Kadence header builder.
1. Kan I use the conditional headers in combination with the Kadence header builder or is this only possible with the header that comes along with the theme??
If yes how should I approach this?
Do I need to build for each landing page a different header or can I copy paste?
Can I create need for each seperate header a seperate navigation?Let me know if you have any questions
Thomas

In forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Kadence Elements – Replace featured image
AnonymousMarch 28, 2025 at 11:01 am #293438Hi Nikola,
Can you try this? See if this works for you.
-You can create a Content Section Element.
-You can use a Dynamic HTML Block to display the Excerpt.
-You can use an Advanced Image Block to display the Custom Featured Image.
-Then, you can set the Placement to after_entry_title and apply the Element to All Single Posts.
-In the Customizer -> Post/Pages Layout -> Single Post settings, you can disable the default Featured Image from showing. Here is a clip of this entire process for reference: https://share.zight.com/9ZuJWPON
Let us know if we can assist you further.
Kind Regards,
