Hi

If I place an image in a post / page and then align it left / right etc within the WordPress properties, the image doesn’t have any margins and the text butts up right against the image. In WordPress Core this is taken care of with:

.alignright {
float:right;
margin: 5px 0 20px 20px;
}

.alignleft {
float: left;
margin: 5px 20px 20px 0;
}

.aligncenter {
display: block;
margin: 5px auto 5px auto;
}

but it seems this isn’t being applied. How do I reinstate this? Or have I missed an option in the theme options? Thanks.

Hi

Sure.

This site is just in the beginning stages of build out. As you can see I’m using the description instead of the title so as not to obscure the image. I added your css info and it looks pretty good, but I would also like to be able to do it on individual pages and posts as well.

Hi, more portfolio questions.

I have a portfolio grid page that I want to show all of my portfolio items. However, the top of the page is showing all of the subcategories of my portfolio. On this particular page, I only want to show some of the categories (ie, I want to show only the parent portfolios, instead of the child ones). Is there a way to edit the settings or the code for this particular page so it only shows the tab I want?

I only want the first three tabs to show, not the last two.

hi Team,

I’m facing issues with the Product images displayed on the Product Archive Page. I use Woocommerce along with this great theme.

The size I mentioned in Woocommerce Product settings is 200 px x 200 px for Product Catalog. Also, I actually went to the image editor and re-sized all the images to 200 px x 200 px. Re-uploaded those images to WordPress and re-uploaded the Products using CSV importer that used the newly uploaded image links. However, the products images still look out of sync and not in line. I was expecting a uniform display of all products by keeping the image sizes the same.

Need your help as I’m running out of ideas. My website is *Login to see link

I started to work on products in my Woocommerce shop and realized that the single product pages would not change when i made a selection of either option to the single product layout in the theme options.

I currently do not have a sidebar and either selection will give me a 40/60 width between the product image and product content.

Is there a way to change the color of a single menu button. For example my menu button for my events page is in my top menu bar. Is there a way to make it stand out from the other menu items by changing it’s background color? If not do you have another suggestion to make it stand out.

Dear Ben/Hannah,

When I click on Shops it will go to my list of all my products, and I set 30 products per page. But when I click on next page it is not responding, i.e do not show me the next set of products. Also when click categories at the top, it do not show the right sets of products. This happened after I upgrade the theme. Can you help. My shop site *Login to see link .

Yes, I deactivated all of the plugins. Strange that now even Pagebuilder was showing up as a tab in pages, but now it isn’t (that’s with the plugin activated). Any other thoughts on what could be causing the problems? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

1. For normal pages use the fullwidth page template: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#fullwidthpage

2. For the blog page, if the settings in the page are not working then check your wordpress settings > reading.
Make sure you have not set a page to be your “latest posts” page.

Would you please take a look at the following page, ( *Login to see link ). I had something show up the other day, that I don’t know where it came from. If you look at one of the products listed, you will see three sets. The first is the strikethru price, the second is the actual product price, The third is the discount percentage. It is the third one that I am having an issue with. Is this anyway affiliated with the themes, and etc. that I am using. If yes, where can I go to fix it. It doesn’t look very professional the way it is right now.

My site has 3 pages and 3 categories. I have a sidebar with the latest post. This sidebar appears everywhere but the home page, I would like to hide (take it off) it from all Pages and only keep it for the categogies (and each post). How can I do that? Hey, so for the first question you can go to theme options > advanced styling and select transparent for the footer background color.

And for the second question, try pasting this in your custom css box in theme options > advanced settings:

.woocommerce span.soldout, .woocommerce-page span.soldout {
display: none;
}

Just ran into something. I am trying to minimise the amount of image versions being renders so i have most images larger than they need to be so the wrong size does not get used when loading.

These options were set in the Theme options “Home Layout” tab.

– Image Menu (3 items)
– Featured Products (3 items)
– Latest Products.(3 items)
– Latest Blog post (2 items)

When i used the Chromes element inspection i realized that the image menu was creating a smaller image than uploaded. original: 720 x 250 image and was using a 354 x 250 image. so i made sure all wordpress and woocommerce were not auto creating the images since that was my first thought because they had updated today.

But after some testing i used the “Page Content” in the home layout tab which the same image menu set up. i was not using the smaller version that was created.
So my guess is maybe there is something hard coded in your theme that is doing that for the theme options functions.

just thought i’d bring it to your attention.
