unless you click and drag the site slider on the right. I have had several friends try this for me in Explorer, chrome and Mozilla and it won’t work. As I would like to be able to use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard or scroll button on the mouse but it won#t work.

On ipad it works fine.

Hey,
If you are using a child theme it can be done with the template by removing what you posted, but another way is just to add this to your custom css box:

.page-header {
display:none;
}

Hi,

I am trying to remove the h1 titles on each page. I was able to do this on the home page using theme options. I am not finding a successful way of overriding this code in my child theme: (page-header.php)

Can you suggest a way to do this in a child theme?

Ok so now my sections are within the <div id=”wrapper” class=”container”></div> but my sections aren’t responsive like the rest of the page content. I added my own separate media quires to the sections through child theme css. No luck…What do I need to do if my media quires aren’t working?

Hmm, well right now no, but I’ll update so that you can change the total on the home page to more and have the filter.

If you just really want the home page to be a page template you just have to delete the file “front-page.php” then it will use your page template.

You can use the body class specific to the page, and add css for that. I did an example here: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/how-to-hide-header-footer-sidebars-menu-for-one-page/

Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.

I use it for some time now and as I want to update the layout I have a short question. Is it possible to show a portfolio page with portfolio grid on the home page? I found your tutorial and I tried it, but unfortunately it only shows the content area. The portfolio items are not shown. There are some for me to try it that way:

1. I prefer showing all my work on the first page instead of having a link “Portfolio” with the very same content.
2. I like the filter options.
3. In the Homepage Layout Manager I can only choose up to 16 items in the Home Portfolio Full Settings. Yes, I need more than 16 🙂

I really look forward to your help. Maybe it’s only some kind of setting issue.

Hi there, I have noticed there are quite big minds tween my headings 2 and the first line of paragraph text. Also there are quite large lines between paragraphs. I had been using the shortcodes (which have now disappeared from my page editing options) but even selecting the smallest divider option (20) still left really big gaps.

I did a search on previous forums and tried entering this CSS text but it didn’t work. Thanks in advance. C

Ah, didn’t realise the page builder could do that. I’ve only made one page using the page builder since you included it. I’ll give that a go!

Have you thought about using the page builder to create parts of your home page.. If you have you home page set to static you can use the page builder plugin to add the featured products carousel and anything else.

Hi,
I am not really sure what I did as it had been working, the homepage/website is not loading properly. I deleted the theme and activated another theme, the home page was fine. I reloaded Virtue, but still the same strange problem of not loading the website. Any help would be great, thanks!

I have the same problem. The portfolio page does not appear all options. You know what can be the problem? I marked grid options, and configured the posrtfolio in theme options. I do not know what can be.

I’d like to have the ability to add one or two more widget areas to the front page such that below my featured products I can have a link/button that says ‘click here to see our entire range’

and then below my blog posts have a link/button which says ‘click here to read more of our articles’ or some such.

At the moment I am using the one home page widget area to do this under my blog posts, but would like to duplicate it to under my featured products.

I figured having additional widget areas I can move around on the front page would be the most flexible way to achieve this. Is this easy to do?

Hmm I would have to do some testing, I think You would actually need to create those templates. So just like the 404 page. Then the theme wrapper should pick it up and show you the correct page… But it also depends on your htaccess file. It’s possible that your htaccess would route you to server files for those types of errors.
