Hi Amy,
CSS and the response settings do not target devices or browsers they target screen size. It’s not possible without lots of hacks and extra javascript to target “desktops”. The only possible way I know to do that from a coding perspective would be to have no caching and require each user to send their browser information before your site sent the page code. Basically, this isn’t something you can do in WordPress.

More than that, even if it were possible I would strongly suggest you not run a site this way.

If you want a hack to make the row background image change at a smaller size that could be possible with css but it will still be based on the screen size not a device.

I don’t understand your reasons for wanting this and now that I’ve explained it’s not possible to get what you were wanting from a feature perspective perhaps you can explain more about what you want from a site perspective and I can offer some suggestions.

Hello,

I can´t get the Menu, header, area to decrease. To make it more narrow? See Screenshot link below.

I removed the default Parallax image and the “Mountains are Calling!. (Which yoo find in Theme Options/Page Header/ Page Title, scroll down and remove media – image link)

I replaced it with a Kadence Block, ROW Layout, Prebuilt Library and Header Demo layout.

Now edited to work with my client website. But even though I removed the Page Titles, and tried to get the menu header area more narrow, its still wont budge. It´s glaring at me. Teasing me. Playing with me. It just wont get narrower. I am truly missing something here, right? How to make it more narrower.

Hey,
There isn’t a way to add it into the header/banner area. You would just need to add it to the top of your page. If you’re wanting more than 5 columns I suggest using the Advanced Gallery block and just linking each image to the specific portfolio post.

Thanks for reaching out! Have you set your post page as the latest post page from Settings > Reading? That needs to be left blank or it will override your blog page settings. Let me know if that resolves.

2) Form ID – how do I find the ID on the form I have set up? And if I am using a form as a reusable block (I am) is the ID unique on each one or shared? The ID is more or less useful to me based on this.
3) Timestamp – currently shows date only. Can this display the time as well? We are attempting to have a standard time for responding, and need to know this detail.
4) The email that is generated is very neat and tidy, but does not contain the full details of the submission. Is there a way to control this email and the information that is included? Specifically time!

I think I wasn’t clear. I mean the portfolio carousel slider at the bottom of the homepage. It displays transport arrows when hovered, but the arrows cannot be clicked.

All good. Except my client doesn’t like the term “Testimonials” and would like to have something else (TBC.. but probably “Comments” or “Client Feedback” (they are a group of therapists).

On-page no issues. However, the URL path states “/testimonial-group/” (possibly the same if linking direct to an individual one).

Is there anywhere where this can be easily changed?

It’s the only thing on the site that has this problem. I set equipment to full width, click save and look at it right way and full width is not checked.

As a test, I added four pages under “about” and clicked on full width and that doesn’t work as well.

I can uncheck full width, click save (it works) and then check full width, click save and it works for the first three menu items — recipes, ingredients and technique.

Thanks for that.

One problem with using the custom one is that we’re only using it on some pages which don’t have the standard page title. The Theme has setting not to display the page name in Breadcrumbs but the shortcode appears to always display page name in breadcrumb – is there a parameter or anyway to get it to not display the page name in the breadcrumbs?

I’m referring to the margin in the page builder row itself. From your edit page when you edit the row you should see this in the right sidebar. Let me know if that’s not the case for you.
