I updated the site to the latest version. Smooth scroll isn‘t working with boxes. You can check it at the page I mentioned before :).

Oddly enough, the front page was the only page I saw that was impacted by the additional “ghost” paragraph. I have added this code to the custom CSS in the Customizer:
.entry-content-wrap!important { padding: 2rem 2rem 0rem 2rem; }Let me know if that works for you. I tested and this appears to be working for me.

I’ve noticed this issue on a few sites now, even on completely new WP installations. When I first load the page, the header has a taller than normal height, which goes away after reloading. Will send details in the next private post.
In forum: Ascend ThemeClearly I’m doing something wrong. I’ve created a Kadence Pro Slider called Home Video, enabled background video and set it to HTML5, and uploaded an MP4 file. If I click preview it plays beautifully, but when I load the page I get the 3 little dots as if the video is going to load then it goes blank. The Book Now graphic that I layered on my video displays just fine.

In regards to uploading an image of 1600px, if you look at the image overlays on the page link I sent, they are designed to be 638w x 410h. However if I upload an image of 1600w I don’t know how I can make that fit to this exact size as the only size options I have are as uploaded. This exact size will probably not be used again within the site so I assume I shouldn’t be changing the WordPress media sizes settings for a one off image. Is there some way I can instruct image overlay to perform a scale or should I be telling our designer to stop doing bespoke designs and always work within one of the ratio options or image size options? 🙂
I’m very hesitant to install any plugins, such as Optimole that the site becomes dependant upon especially if there’s monthly fees involved and/or tasks that are already performed by our other systems (such as as LiteSpeed cache for cdn lady loading, etc). From what I understand about “Simple Image Sizes” it would create a number of custom sizes that would be useful for this instance but it’s not going to select the right image size with scaling applied (if appropriate for high ppi systems) for the right viewport automatically within the context of the image overlay block.
Please advise.

Hey,
If you have the woo extras gallery turned on then those sizes would take priority however you should match that with your woocommerce settings for the best results simply because some CDN don’t allow the plugin to create custom image sizes on the fly and so the fallback is the woocommerce settings.I checked your page on my mac and the images are clear 🙂

1. You should be able to translate these in your string translations. Let me know if you need help with that.2. You will need to create a separate slider for each of your languages. In your homepage slider settings use the shortcode option instead of selecting a specific slider. There you can then add your shortcode into the input for the main language slider. Next, in your string translations you can “translate” that shortcode to your alternate language to use the other slider shortcode.

Hey Matt,
1. What is the columns shortcode you’re using? What happens when you add it?
2. Are you using a caching plugin? That can sometimes stop the update prompts from showing. Make sure your cache is being cleared.
3. Have you created a shop page? When adding a menu item from Appearance > Menus you should see an option to set the navigation label to whatever you want.

Compared to other sites I made, I’m not seeing this on other site.

Hi All – We’ve just started with Kadence and the various add-ons for Kadence and are working with a demo store. In our demo store that we’ve put together, images are horribly blurry. Two places :
1) Product pages : The main image is incredibly blurry, however on Hover it’s perfectly sharp. Thumbs are blurry too, again when they are loaded and on hover, they’re beautiful. We are using the Woo Extras for the gallery pics. We have disabled it to test and the phots are slightly better but not great. Images are all 1000×1000 and clear.
Super blurry product images with really sharp hovers.
*** EDIT *** So I increased the image size on the Woo Etras product gallery to match the size of the actual image, so there shouldn’t be any scaling. However – What takes precedence — the woocommerce image settings in the customizer or the Woo Extras settings for the gallery?

I downloaded the AMP plugin, and I see that it has a google analytics section to place our tracking codes. My site is e-commerce, and I’d like the speed of AMP pages on my products, but I also need to track facebook pixel events. Will the plugin provide this feature? If not, is there a plan (if it is possible) to do this in the future?
