Yes, it is set at the bottom. Actually, what I am looking for is to decrease the spacing between the footer and the last enabled thing on the home page manager. Right now it is a lot of spacing. Is that possible?

Hi Rémon,

You can use the Hooked Elements addon in Kadence Pro and create an element for each of your product category archives.

With these settings, the element’s content (which can be built using Gutenberg) will be shown below the products list on the particular product category archive page: https://d.pr/i/arsLIj.

Hi J,

Exclusion options are not present at the moment. We have added this to our internal Feature Requests board.

In the meantime, one workaround if you do not have a number of Pages is to select individual Pages where your element should appear.

Hello,

I updated the page and removed the paragraph block. I had to click into the paragraph block where it says to “start typing or click to add a block” and then just hit delete or backspace on my keyboard and it brought me back up to the last reusable block and hit save. That removed the whitespace.

Let me know if that’s what you wanted or if you need anything else.

Thanks for your quick reply but I am not after Kadence Blocks plugin. I am not using that. I am making a site using Elementor Pro and Kadence Pro. And the custom icons I want to use is inside header elements. not inside pages etc. For example, see this screenshot https://prnt.sc/uah4uo.

Now I need to set some exclusion rules. For example: “Show on entire site but exclude page Contact and page About us”

How can I accomplish that? I see that under rules I can set by post types and archives and singles but there is no exclusion rule.

Hi Chris,

I have recreated the Portfolio on the live domain. The border width is preset at 1 in the Portfolio Grid/Carousel block plugin, but although it can be changed to zero and doesn’t show in preview, this change isn’t being saved or affecting the live page.

For some reason, although the custom css works on this page https://internetsquad.co.uk/testsite/portfolio-projects/ I can’t get it to work on the live domain or in WAMP on my PC.

All three installs are running the same version of WordPress, plugins, and theme, and I’m at a loss to see what has gone wrong.

I have some extra custom css in use. I tried removing that and just using the code to remove the border, but that didn’t work either!

If I give you the login, could you take a look and see if you can figure out what is going on? This is driving me crazy!

oh… yeah that won’t work, you can’t add multiple ID to a page, showing or hiding doesn’t make this ok. That is your issue.

Here is the simple fix, add an empty row right above the rows you have with three different contacts and assign the id to this empty row and remove it from the others. I went ahead and did this for you so you can see it working.

Hi Hannah,

OMG I am sorry I deleted it as I thought the problem was sorted. But NO it is not!
Overnight WordPress did an auto update to 5.5.1 and Voila! The Pinnacle dashboard came back, but now whenever I activate any of the plugins that I disabled the backend freezes. On pages I cannot do stuff.
I have reactivated the login for you with the same user/pass.
As a suggestion please activate “Amazon Product In a Post” then go to one of the posts and see what happens.

Thanks Hannah. I’ve done that and that has resolved the Youtube and Vimeo shortcodes. The columns one still doesn’t seem to be working.

Normally when a new theme version is available it prompts me for automatic installation – any idea why this might not be happening?

Finally, I have a separate request. I would like to be able to group menu items together under a heading that is not itself a page. So for example where the menu currently says “Features” https://zing-groups.com/ I would like to have a menu heading that says “Product” and underneath it have Features, Games and FAQs. But there is no “Products” page. I can’t seem to work out how to do this – could you please advise?

Well I want it to be full width on smaller devices like mobile devices. Just on desktop I want to be able to control the alignment and max width on a case by case basis. Some pages I want the video to be center-aligned, other pages the video should be left-aligned. Some pages that have a sidebar, full width is fine. But for example on my homepage http://www.johngrahamtours.com there is no sidebar so the videos are unnaturally massive. I think putting a max width on these specific videos on the homepage at 600px and center-aligning them would look better.

I’ve searched the internet, but the forums are suggesting adding code to the functions file, adding <div> separators with embed code, or adding css within an <iframe> format. I remember that I had this <iframe> formatting years ago, but then ditched it when Kadence added the Youtube shortcode. Now that I am mostly trying to post Playlists on my web pages, which is not supported with the Kadence shortcode, it seems I need to go back to another solution.

If I put every video in a new row in Page Builder, and add columns to right and left, this seems like a lot of work given that I have videos on almost every page of the website. Are there any other options?

Our banners (Kadence Slider) and Home Page images in most of our designs are prepared/cropped to a specific size before upload and displayed as Full Size, hence I suspect they are irrelevant to these generalised settings for the most part as they would not fit with the general WordPress cropping sizes used for common areas of the website.

We’re likely to commonly work with Kadence Theme Default Content Max-Width and Narrow Layout Max Width (1290 / 842) and pass on your recommendations of suggested image upload sizes (1600px x 1600px) to customers. So, for common areas in internal pages such as Blog images, in-page image uploads when working with Kadence Theme (pro) and common Kadence Blocks (post feed, posts, galleries, info boxes, etc), I was wondering if there would be a general rule-of-thumb (pardon the pun) for these settings nowadays?

I hope this question is not too general but WordPress Media Settings has always been ignored by us because in the past we created custom fields (with exact sizes) for large and small images everywhere, however we’re changing this practice now.
