Hi, I really like Kadence blocks. But was wondering if we could have options (or if I’ve missed them somewhere) to optimise the CSS generated somehow.
At the moment each element added onto a page has a separate style tag added for it (please see the attached image with a number of added style tags and external stylesheets for 3 rows).
Is there any way to optimise this so that the styles are added dynamically under one single style tag/external file?

Hey Chris,
I ran Elementor’s search and replace like you suggested but it didn’t find anything. I ended up going through every section on the home page and checking all of the background images; the culprit must have been hiding somewhere, even though I never exactly found it…I changed a background color to an updated media file and that seems to have fixed the mixed content message.
Thanks to everyone for all of your suggestions!
SaraIn forum: Kadence BlocksAugust 28, 2020 at 10:53 am #255965Pagination in WordPress works by reloading the page and taking the user to a new URL with a page number.
It’s not a great option for a page where you are adding posts halfway down the page. I would suggest adding a view more button that links to another page were they just view posts.
If you are wanting to navigate instantly through posts using the carousel would be an option for that.

August 28, 2020 at 10:18 am #255962My question was how do I change where the logo is linked to. I have a site that is a subdomain of the main site and I want to take the visitor to the main site when the logo is clicked instead of the home page of the subdomain.

August 28, 2020 at 10:10 am #255960Hi there!
I have walked through the steps discussed here but the icons themselves are still not showing up on my page. Even in the active widget.
Please help,
CassieIn forum: Kadence BlocksAugust 28, 2020 at 9:59 am #255959Post Grid/Carousel pagination arrow and page number nav reloads the entire page instead of cycling thru posts, making for a confusing user experience when the block is halfway down the page. Am i missing something here?

August 28, 2020 at 8:32 am #255950I think the solution would be to use a “regular” Search box instead of the full page search dialog.
But I have not been able to figure out how to do that in the header.
Can you advice me?In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Not Secure message for Home page
Hey Ben,
Thanks. I did run the BSR plugin, always do after a site launch/relaunch but there are instances where it doesn’t catch things – this is a good example. Others are any type of slider plugin, and Kadence widgets seem to get ignored as a general rule (split content, flip boxes, etc) and I usually need to manually go into any page and re-select the images to make them appear properly.
I re-ran BSR again and it caught the title settings instance this second time, so maybe I just need to run it more than once? Though I’m still getting the mixed content notification, and I purged the cache in wordpress and cleared it in Chrome, which is the only browser still causing an issue. Any other thoughts?
Thanks!
SaraIn forum: Membership ForumsHi,
I have a custom post type (Staff) with ACF Pro fields. I am wondering if there’s a way I can create the layout for the Archive and the Post pages with Kadence Blocks rather then using the traditional template method we usually use. This way we can update the layout very easily from site to site in Gutenberg. I was thinking, perhaps I could use the Hooked Elements in Kadence Theme Pro with ACF dynamic Block feature. Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks

August 27, 2020 at 9:15 pm #255934Hey,
In your theme options > page title settings you can set the background, there you have an image set referencing this image:
http://new.avalonimg.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/bkgd-grdnt3.jpg
That is the cause of the issue.
You should be able to change that in the theme options but whenever you move a site it’s a good idea to run a search and replace: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
I hope that helps!

Thanks Sridhar, can you try again when you have a moment, I was testing how it works in a different theme when you were checking.
Double click happens only on the first load, after that it works normally with a single click. Navigate to a different page or refresh, it happens again.

In forum: Kadence BlocksAugust 27, 2020 at 2:49 pm #255908Thanks for posting about this, it’s a bug I can confirm. A temp fix for you to is to momentarily change to query and then set the post per page to 12, then change back to choose individually.
I’ll have an update with a real fix out soon.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Full-width image possible in Virtue Premium?
Hi Cavendish,
1. You can create a full-width row on any page using the Row Layout block from Kadence Blocks. You could then paste a slider shortcode into a shortode block within the row.2. You can use this css to remove the excess padding above your slider:
.wrap.clearfix.contentclass.hfeed { padding-top: 0; }Just paste that into your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
Hope that helps!
Best,
HannahIn forum: Kadence ThemeAugust 27, 2020 at 2:26 pm #255905I’m wondering if it’s possible to just display the product title, add to cart, and add to wishlist, on the shop page. I tried using the Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro plugin but for the life of me, I can’t get it to display properly.

Thanks! That works!!! Just 2 details though:
I can’t leave it on the home page since we’re still debugging the layout and content for this section. Is there any way to make an element that isn’t on the home page fill screen width?
Also, there is a slight border between the home slider and the header, see screenshot. Is there any way to eliminate that narrow strip of lighter grey above the slider?
Thanks!
