    Hi Ben,

    I have used your themes on several websites, and love how versatile they are.

    I wonder if this is possible?: My brother wants his header to have a .jpg image as the background header with an overlaying .png (his logo) that changes position on the header in both x and y axis in relationship to scrolling the page (and also gets smaller as it becomes the image at the top of the page, where the menu is. It will be the little tree basically jumping over the creek. A link to the .gif that illustrates the idea is here:

    Please let me know if you understand, and if something can animate like that in relation to the scroll?
    The website is still in beginning stages. It is at

    Thanks and regards,

    Likely you were looking at the scss code which has to be compiled. Click the arrow next to the css and make sure to view complied before you copy from there.

    You do have to use the HTML, you can’t convert buttons on your site because that css requires that each “button” have a container div and a span tag in that div along with the button to make the whole thing work. Normal buttons in a page are not wrapped in a container and don’t have that extra span tag.

    If you want make a test page where you add the HTML and places the complied css in your custom css and I can help you tweak it.

    I’m seeing some errors in the javascript for that page that don’t make sense, can you turn off autoptimize so I can see the raw output and take a guess at what is going on.

    I’m sure this is user error but I’m trying to get an image in an advanced gallery to move upwards 5 pixels when hovering on it.

    So inside my advanced gallery, I have an image where I’ve set Additional CSS Class to: image-hover-rise

    Then I went to theme options Custom CSS and added:
    .image-hover-rise a img:hover {
    position: relative;
    top: -5px;
    }

    But, nothing happens.

    Below is a link to the page. I’ve applied the additional css class to the FITNESS icon/image.

    Hope you can help!

    Best,
    Brandon

    I am using pagebuilder for my site

    And I am using the ascend tabs and accordians BUT I’d like to style it more like the Kadence Tabs from the pro blocks plugin – I see I can’t use the Kadence blocks with pagebuilder – so any CSS you can suggest would be great.

    Ideally I want the tab itself bigger and boxier with an image/icon next to text

    Many thanks
    Nic

    Hey,
    In that demo, those are added through the page content. You can go to pages > and open “home” that will bring up the site origin page editor and you can adjust those items. Let me know if that makes sense.

    Hi Hannah,

    I have pasted the code into the mobile attributes box within the page builder row that relates to the images but it hasn’t made any difference. Could you have a look?

    Hi Bre,
    Have you tried using the Blog Grid page template? That provides an option to set the number of columns to two. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/templates/blog-grid-template/
    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

    I am trying to center the widgets in my footer to align with the rest of the page and the widget above it.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hey Adrian,
    Sorry for the delay! Hope you had a nice weekend.
    Sorry for misunderstanding the images you meant. Try pasting the following into your Mobile CSS Declarations in your Attributes tab when editing the page builder row:

    .panel-grid-cell .so-panel {
        width: 50%;
        float: left;
    }

    Does that work for you?

    Sorry for the delay, Grace! And sorry for your trouble. I would be happy to help!
    You do not need to deactivate the classic editor in order to use Kadence Blocks. You should see an option when creating a new page/post to select the editor you want to use. Do you see that?
    As for creating the homepage you’re wanting using Kadence Blocks, you can create a slider (or a static image) using the Row Layout block. Set background for the block (that’s your “slider” image) and then add whatever content you want on top and adjust the padding/margins to get the effect you want. https://www.kadenceblocks.com/row-layout-block/
    The icon menu can be created using the info box blocks. Again, add a Row Layout blocks and select the number of columns you want, then add info box blocks to each column. https://www.kadenceblocks.com/info-box-block/
    For testimonials, you can use the Kadence Testimonials block. https://www.kadenceblocks.com/testimonial-block/
    For the latest posts you can use the Post grid/carousel block. http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium-10/post-grid-carousel/
    I hope this is helpful! Let me know how to best steer you forward.

    Can you post a link, if you have a form block in your page then it would load those.

    #253196

    Hey,
    Thanks for posting. I’ll look into that, seems like a bug.

    I must suggest you not set it to 0 though. You can turn off content vertical padding in the page and post settings. So instead of changing the amount of padding you can just turn it off in the customizer > page layout > vertical padding.

    I hope that helps!

    Hey,
    I’m under the understanding that Chrome doesn’t have a pull to refresh if the page is smaller (in height) then the screen size. I don’t believe this has to do with the theme.

    Let me know if you are also seeing this.

    Hi Ben and Hanna and team
    We completed a site in Ascend Premium using the Kadence Slider

    its all fine, except I need a little css assist with the mobile horizontal

    This is the mobile home page Vertical – looks fine

    The horizontal is a problem with the slider ratio, and i can’t snag the css to fix it.

    Basically the buttons are falling below the horizon, and I can’t figure out how to raise them by changing the horizon

    can you assist with the css?

    Hi, how to I control the part of the home page that says Travel secrets, Travel Gear, and New Adventures? Are there any videos to walk through the adjusting all these blocks? Thanks

    #253186

    Hi,

    as soon as a new page is created that should not have a heading, a free space is created. (See image)

    The free space only disappears if this page is set as the homepage. How can you close the gap for other sites?

    Best regards
    Michael
