New to Kadence and first time post on the forum…I love the Kadence theme so far.

In the Page Layout section of the customizer, the show featured image is disabled as I do not want a featured image on every page. However, there are a couple of pages I want to set the featured image. On those pages that featured image is enable in the page settings, the Featured Image Position and Featured Image Ratio settings are not showing. Am I missing something or not using this correctly?

Also when adding a featured image and then changing any page settings the featured image is removed and has to be re-added each time a page setting is changed.

Thanks for your patience! I checked out the site and found that thrive was setting the global hook_suffix for the admin page to equal widgets.php in their builder. This was creating the issue, however no worries I’ve created a workaround.

I can push an update out this week or you can send me a login to your other site and I can change the one file that needs to be edited.

Hey Amanda,
In your static page that you’ve set as your home page click on the page option in the top right corner and then turn the transparent setting on.

I switched yesterday to kadence theme on my website and I see that all my youtube videos got a black line above the video thumbnail and it push the thumbnail down so I can’t see the end of it.
I couldn’t find anyone that report on this issue. I am talking about the regular youtube block that comes with Gutenberg

Hi Grace,
Unfortunately, you’re right. There isn’t a way to add two page content sections to the homepage, and there isn’t an option for sticky posts within the Latest Blog Posts section. A workaround you could do is use the block editor and Kadence Blocks in your page content area. With Kadence Blocks you can actually do all the things you’re wanting to do on your homepage. Let me know if you would like to go this route and if you would like more guidance on this.

I’ve attached screenshots of an issue I’m having with the info box block. When I try to set up the info box in the editor, it shows the title and icon as center aligned no matter what alignment I have set in the “Content Align” setting. Hello, can you help me please.
In the store and pages category, I can’t display the products in 3 or 4 columns. They remain on 5. However I put the parameters of the theme on 3 columns but it does not take into account.

7. Strange, that css should only affect the main menu item. When do you plan to make this site live?

I created a gallery, added it’s short code to a page and when I select that page it displays properly.

I then followed the instructions from your page at:

added the gallery to the album and created a page containing the Album short code. The album displays just fine but when I select the Gallery (there’s only one at this time) in the Album by clicking on the Gallery Image I get a 404 error. The URL that it’s trying to go to is

I am not using your theme so I’m wondering if I need to do some additional page creation. I did try and create a Gallery page that had “gallery” as it’s slug but that didn’t work so I deleted that page.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I moved my staging site from Astra Pro to Kandence Pro. When I went to open my blog, which I thought was entered into Elementor and not Astra, I get an error:
Sorry the Content Area was not found on your page. You must call “the_content” function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

Any ideas how I can fix this? I am not very technical and not a web designer by trade.

I would like to use the transparent header on my home page but NOT on all my other pages. I have the Homepage set to a static page, rather than the blog page. Right now, when I set the header to transparent and “Do not show on pages”, it negates the transparent header on my homepage as well, because it is technically a page.

Is there any way around this so that I can keep my configuration but still use the transparent header only on the home page?

1) How do I center align the spacer/divider block on tablet and mobile devices? It’s set to left align on Desktop devices as that’s the look I want to go with but i need it aligned center for tablet/mobile devices. There seems to be no options for different devices.

2) How do I equalize column heights? The last section on my page has two columns with a green background. How do I make them both of the same height?

3) And finally, how do I change the placement of the form submit button to Right as there seems to be no option for that too.

Help would be appreciated.

Hi Kadence Team,

I’ve use the Central Color Palette plugin in order to set the colors that show up in the theme’s Customizer color picker, the Gutenberg color picker, Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi and other page builders. I’ve seen that the Kadence theme carries the color palette over into Gutenberg. My suggestion is to also add the palette to page builders like the Central Color Palette plugin does.

7. This is not what I was expecting 😀 Have a look at the screenshot. I was expecting that the ‘shop’ menu would have gotten the bottom border and not its child. Is this even possible to achieve?
