Could you help me with modifying the following code so the “Login” button and the “Forgot Login” link would open in a new window? The “Initial Login” code does work and opens a new window. This site is for a homeowners association. I am the webmaster working with a mgt company the HOA just contracted with. They gave me this code to modify the first set of codes they gave me.

*Login to see link is the code the web designer will need to use to populate in a new window.

As you can see from the complete code below, that code was already there. And they don’t seem to want to simply insert the modified code for me. Before I try again with them, could you help? Any help appreciated.

Gutenberg is part of WordPress core now. If you’re using the latest version of WordPress you do not need to use the Gutenberg plugin.

I have add a block image in the portfolio page but it appears up the filter block

You don’t want to use the image block, rather the Portfolio Grid/Carousel block. You need both Kadence Blocks and Kadence Blocks pro plugins. https://www.kadencewp.com/my-account/my-api-downloads/

I think it’s a plugin conflict. On another site running the same theme with similar plugins, I logged in and did plugin updates and I get the link option with an Advanced Heading. So I went back to my Kirtland site and the same plugins had updates. I updated one of them, All In One SEO Pack, went to a page and now the Advanced Heading gives me the option to create a link. So I went to another site I developed recently using Guttenberg Blocks and similar plugins, same base theme. All in One SEO Pack needed an update. I edited a page and had no option to make an Advanced Heading a hyperlink. I updated the All in One SEO Pack plugin, and now I have an option. At this point I’m pretty sure, like 99.9% sure, it was a conflict with that plugin with a previous version. In this case, I went from version 3.4.3 to version 3.5.2 and the issue is resolved.

Hey John,
I’m not sure why the update would have affected this.
1. Try adding this to your css:

.siteorigin-panels-stretch.kt-parallax-stellar.kt-panel-row-stretch.panel-widget-style.panel-row-style.panel-row-style-for-229-0 {
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

2. In your page builder row is the Row Layout set to Full Width Stretched?

Hi Marc,
Are you using the Gutenberg editor and Kadence Blocks? If so, you can use the default page template and add a Portfolio Grid/Carousel block to the page. Be sure to enable the filter. Then you can add whatever content you want under this block. Would that work for you?

You can use this css to make the image not repeat:

.home .siteorigin-panels-stretch.kt-parallax-stellar.kt-panel-row-stretch.panel-widget-style.panel-row-style {
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

To make it taller you can add top and bottom padding to your page builder row from the edit row settings.

It used to work fine and for an unknown reason, latest post published (name “Ce que le COVID-19…”) is not displayed with its featured image. We double-checked, featured image is uploaded (please check on attached image) but it is not shown on the blog page.

After updating the Virtue theme, a couple of things went haywire:

1. the main parallax image is duplicating vertically on the home page. On mobile phones, it is duplicating three times.

2. The parallax image is not filling the entire screen horizontally, as it used to. It seems to be limited to a certain percentage of the screen width.

Everything else seems to be working as before.

Hi guys…

1. How can I make the search box 100% width.. Please see on mobile it’s not full width and same on desktop even if I set the width of the container to 100%. I am using elementor.

I tried this code without success:

4. How can I make the field boxes slightly more grey a little like the mobile snapshot which was when I enabled the Hello theme… It just helps to make the checkout pop out more instead of all white background or almost white etc?

Font sizes on mobile will shrink down to fit the screen size. If you want to give set font sizes for mobile you can do so with css. If you tell me which fonts you want to adjust I would be happy to help with that.
There isn’t a built-in function to adjust the product page layout as you’re wanting. You would need to use a plugin like this: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woocommerce-elementor/

Side note, BPS is really ugly. 🙂

I did some testing with the free version and while the code is outdated and odd in my opinion I couldn’t get the same error, so the issue is coming from the pro version, since I can’t access the code with that username I’m not able to pinpoint what it’s doing, although from the free version it’s doing a lot of odd things, like manually dequeuing all scripts in their admin pages…

The error “Argument 1 passed to Kadence\Base_Support\Component::filter_script_loader_tag()” is not an error with the theme code based on how core is supposed to work, see here:https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/script_loader_tag/
The fact that something (clearly BPS pro) is manipulating the core is very odd.

However I can consider some workaround to make this function with BPS, I am curious though why do you use that plugin?

Things got a little better after removing this plugin

After removing this plugin everything is almost back to normal!

We are still working on which MemchacheD plugin to use as some are not playing nice with this setup.

Wordfence runs ok but Yoast still has issues when activated.

Still the same errors in Query Monitor on BPS pages.
