I would like to make it clear again that this is not a theme issue, your plugin is most certainly the issue, I deactivated all of the javascript to test, your plugin breaks when a carousel loads on the page. It doesn’t have to be a theme carousel for it to break things. I suggest you find a better plugin.
However, I’ve added a child theme with a function to remove the related products carousel and turn it into a grid so that your plugin will function.

May 20, 2020 at 2:36 pm #249914Hey,
There aren’t options for styling the background of the WordPress login page within the theme. For the my account page you could add a background and then place the my account shortcode inside the row you add a background in.Ben
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Not show thumbnail picture in product view.
Hi Hannah,
I took a speed test on my site and found that I had to reduce the image sizes of my products, that’s what I’m working on. Serving scaled images could save 1.0MiB (82% reduction). But I don’t know how to do this?
I intend to change the images displayed in the store to maybe 192×192 px. But when you press on the product and open the same image it is very little.
That is why I wonder if this image can only be as a display image in the store, but disappear when you press into the product.Or how does this work? What is the best way to optimize the images to save space and increase the speed of my page?
Thank you!
Stine

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Move Primary Menu under Header Widget area
Actually, not to be a complete PITA, but is there a way to move the Menu and the Header Widget above it to the right? There appears to be some additional padding or margin on the right side of the page as opposed to the left, made more apparent by the horizontal line I have drawn underneath.
This is a rare site where I’m following someone else’s design so I’m pretty confident they’re going to ask me about this.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Load more font weights
May 19, 2020 at 4:51 pm #249855I see, you’re not selecting the font it’s inheriting but since it’s only set as the body font it’s only going to load regular and bold to prevent lots of extra font loads for performance reasons…
In the temp go into your navigation font settings and select Montserrat as the font family.
In there future I’ll add in some checks when some sets their based font as a google font to load all the styles that are used in other pages even when their font family is not set.

May 19, 2020 at 3:30 pm #249849Hey,
So I’m working on the docs one of the first is to explain the color palette. You are setting color 6 which is used for subtle fonts as a pink color. That is whats defining your pink meta text color on the product pages:Palette Overview:
There are 9 colors. You can switch which palette you are using in the customizer but that will just change which 9 colors are used. The order is important and in general, you would want to keep to the same pattern that you see when you first load the theme. The color palette is not a bunch of colors you might want to use on your site. They are colors that are already used throughout your site to define the subtle feel of your site. When you adjust the color palette you are adjusting the site as these colors are used in various places throughout the site to keep your site within your design system. How they are used:
1: Accent
2. Accent – alt (think of what happens when you hover over the accent color).
3. Darkest text
4. Dark Text
5. Medium-dark text
6. Lighter text – borders
7. Light Background (light enough that dark text is readable)
8. Lighter Background (light enough that dark text is readable)
9. (white or very close to white).By setting these colors and using them throughout your site it will help you keep to a design system and make it very easy to tweak the system later on.

So this only happens when you go to edit the static homepage, is that correct? Would you mind sending login info so I can take a look at your settings? You can set as a private reply. Or else you could try deactivating your plugins. It sounds like they may be conflicting.

May 19, 2020 at 12:09 pm #249837Hey,
The shop page follows/defines all of the archive pages for woocommerce.Using a shortcode is your best option, you can then set up a redirect using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-redirect-manager/ and that way anytime someone clicks to the integrated shop page they get redirected to your custom page.
Another option would be to use our plugin here: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/kadence-woocommerce-elementor/

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi!
Over the past 2 weeks my website has been acting funny. Certain pages (both on laptop and mobile) look all messed up (I attached a screenshot from my mobile phone).
I’ve already contacted my hosting service but everything looks fine there.
They told me to ask you with which PHP version the theme is compatible (my current PHP is 7.0)and if there are any extensions in PHP needed to be enabled regarding to the theme.I really hope you can help me with this issue!
Thanks in advance for your help and time!
In forum: Virtue ThemeHey John,
In Theme Options > Blog Options > Blog Category/Archive Defaults you can choose a sidebar for your category pages and determine how the post summary displays. The text count will pull from the “Post Excerpt Length” set in Theme Options > Blog Options. And the number of posts to show on a page will pull from Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most.
I hope that’s helpful!Hannah

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi Ben!
Thank you very much for wise words, I got a little wiser. When you say server, do you mean where I have my web-hotel hoasting, right?
I am in contact with my web-hotel hoast to find out if I may have the wrong package solution for e-commerce .Still, I have some questions for your answers:
1 and 2.
Does that mean I have to save my photos in multiple versions?
I downloaded a plugin called “Smuch”, I thought it did this job? See picture in attachment. “Smuch” is an extension of the “Hummingbird” plugin.
This will help me with the following: “Hummingbird makes your website faster by adding new ways to boost Google PageSpeed Insights with fine-tuned controls over file compression, deferring CSS and Javascript styles and scripts, minify for .CSS and .JS, Lazy Load integration and world-class caching.”Have you heard of this plugin? Does it work? Or should I rather use one of the ones you recommend, wp rocket or fast velocity minfy?
3. Fantastic, that’s what I was looking for!
Thank you!
In forum: Membership ForumsTopic: Problem with full width row
May 19, 2020 at 12:50 am #249799Hi there,
I have a full width row on a page that was previously created with a new Block Editor plugin from the GeneratePress theme folk called Generate Blocks.
As soon as I add Kadence (with pro), it breaks that row.
It is a development site, so no serious issue (recreating a home page for a client), but would like to work out why.
So the theme is GeneratePress.
All I can do is show you an screen shot of what it looks like after the Kadence plugins are installed.
The block you see becomes very narrow only taking up about half the editing screen centered.
Interestingly, if I disable the Kadence plugins and install GetWid another blocks addon all is fine!
I can supply admin login if you want to take a peek?TIA, Dave

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Conflict with VFB Pro and Kadence Blocks
I’m sorry, I never answered your question about what I like/use with VFB Pro.
I have to be honest in saying that I’ve never really looked Kadence Blocks Forms. I’ve been using VFB for ages and I still actually use Visual Page Builder far more than Blocks. Anyway…
VFB provides the ability to upload attachments and even place restrictions on those file uploads.
There’s a good deal of layout customization that can be done with regard to field placement, email confirmations, etc.
I can conditionally display fields on the form based on the responses on previous fields. -
