In reply to: Can’t edit posts or pages
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
I’m using your code from “Footer always at bottom” on this site, but because I have made modifications, it always drops off the bottom of the page!
An example is here but it may move due to ongoing development, so please feel free to look at any “short” page.
Thank in advance,
Phil.In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Blocks
Looks like you don’t have anything in your homepage. Because if that it is resorting to the block editor. You need to choose the page builder editor when initially creating your page. So I suggest deleting your original homepage and creating a new one using siteorigin. Then set that as your front page from Settings > Reading.
Would this work for you?Hannah

3. Do you mean the homepage? Are your other pages working? What page do you have set as your front page from Settings > Reading? You should be able to disable WooCommerce without issue. And you are welcome to also turn it off from Theme Options > Theme Extensions.
4. Do you want this for all your text? Or just text within Kadence Sliders? Adding that to all your text sitewide would look like this:
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, p { background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.62); border-radius: 6px; padding: 20px; }5. In. Theme Options > Home Slider set “Add arrow at the bottom of slider” to “On”.
2. Sorry, that’s my bad. Change out this portion of the css:
li.menu-item { width: 25% !important; }for this:
.kad-header-style-basic.kad-header-center-logo .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu>li { width: 25%; }Hannah

Thank you Hannah, this looks perfect now!
3. Regarding WooCommerce, I did not diasble it from Theme extensions, I simply turned off from WordPress plugins, as I don’t need it. And I wanted to remove Woo plugin. But the page became blank. Is this not possible to delete Woo plugin at all?
4. Kadence Slider: if I use this css to make background for the text, how can I make this text background sitewide?
.ksp-layer.ksp-text-layer {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.62);
border-radius: 6px;
padding: 20px;
}5. Kadence Slider: I don’t know why that small (down pointing) arrow is not visible at the bottom of the slider. Can you help with that too?
Thanks a lot,

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Blog Carousel height-size
April 28, 2020 at 8:46 am #248353Dear Kadence team,
i like to show a carousel blog summary at the bottom of the blog pages. But some image have a w heigher size. Do I have to use a second image for the carousel or is there other possibility all image have the same size?
Thank you 🙂

Hi Anita,
1. You can add a background overlay with this css:.headerclass { background: rgba(255,255,255,.3); }2. Try adding this css:
@media (min-width: 992px) { .container div#kad-shrinkheader { max-width: 1600px; width: 100%; } .kt-menu-left.col-md-4.col-sm-4.col-ss-2.kad-header-menu-left, .kt-menu-right.col-md-4.col-sm-4.col-ss-2.kad-header-right { width: 37%; } .col-md-4.col-sm-8.col-ss-10.clearfix.kad-header-left.kad-header-logo { width: 25%; } li.menu-item { width: 25% !important; } } @media (min-width: 992px) and (max-width: 1200px) { .kad-header-style-basic.kad-header-center-logo .kad-primary-nav ul.sf-menu>li>a { font-size: 12px; } }3. Which page? Have you disabled WooCommerce from Theme Options > Theme Extensions?

In forum: Virtue ThemeDear Kadence,
I’m encountering an error when trying to start using reusable blocks: This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed
It’s just a text-block on a Gutenberg made portfolio page .. am I missing something?I’d like to include this block on all portfolio pages.
Thanks in advance.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: 4 Columns not showing in Virtue with Elementor
Finally… Sorry! I have found a way to make it display into 4 columns using the Virtue theme itself… but.
1. Is there a way of elementor overriding this. as some pages I might require a 2 column layout and others a 3 or 4 etc…
2. How can I edit the physical sizes of the images for the categories… i.e. squares instead of rectangles.. Is this done in Elementor or in woocommerce?
Many thanks

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
Please could you help with a bit of CSS?
There is a 25px gap at the bottom of the home page at *Login to see link and possibly other pages where it is camouflaged. I can’t find what element the padding belongs to, so it’s difficult to set up the correct CSS.
Please could you help?
Many thanks,
Phil.In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben and Hannah
Hope you are good!
Is it possible to enable Kadence reCAPTCHA for woocommerce checkout page? I know there is another plugin available in the WP plugin store, but since Kadence reCAPTCHA is installed in my site, I wondered if there could be an option to add it via a function to woocommerce checkout (have been getting a large number of spam orders).
Thanks heaps

April 27, 2020 at 3:57 pm #248314Many thanks for the answer!
Here is the link to a demo product of my emerging website:
I wish to hide the “visit us on etsy” infobox in the footer in this and in all other product pages. And I wish to see this infobox in all other pages (blogs, Portfolios, …).
My CSS skills are only basic knowledge, thanks a lot for a kick in the right direction 😉
