    In reply to: Anchor Links

    #247120

    Thank you for all your help on this topic. I eliminated most anchor links by creating pages for each of those individual sections. But I will refer to this thread for future anchor linking.

    My website is now live at http://www.tileguysllc.com, and it’s STUNNING! I really do appreciate all the support you give me. I love this theme and I know it almost inside & out. I really enjoy working with you all. Stay mighty!

    Happy to help!
    This css will hide the footer:

    .page-id-1108 #containerfooter {
        display: none;
    }

    Hi
    My page backend editors have lost their Siteorigin blocks after WP 5.4 update.
    I’ve installed classic editor but still nothing
    Can you assist?

    #247098

    Hiya, is there a way to use the template builder to customise the actual cart page, i dont see any options only to customise the checkout page

    #247097

    Hannah, thank you so much!! That has worked perfectly, I’m so happy 🙂

    Would you be able to tell me how to remove the footer too? I totally forgot to ask that in my original query. Also could you tell me how you found the page ID so I can use the same code for the subsequent pages of the webcomic?

    I’m really grateful for your help, I would never have figured this out by myself!

    Hi Hannah,

    as you can see in the screenshot of the course page backend, the page-attribute option shows only the order.
    Specifically I’d like being able to choose the “MetaData Filter” template.

    Hope that explains the problem!

    Best,
    Bernhard

    Hey,
    In Theme Options > Default Title Options have you uploaded an image? Then in your post edit pages do you have page title turned on? That should enable the header image like the example you linked to. Then you can use css like this to hide the page title:

    h1.post_head_title.top-contain-title.entry-title, .titleclass .subtitle {
        display: none;
    }

    Hope that’s helpful!

    I would like the “Sliding Scale” variations on this page to be in the order of cost, low to high. And that is the way I custom ordered the Variations, on the Variable Product panel of the product page. I verified that they are still set that way.

    However, you’ll see that they are actually displayed in AZ order.

    In case it matters, I also set the “Default Sort Order” for Attributes in the Woo/Products/Attributes panel to “Custom Ordering,” but I think that’s for Attributes and not Variations.

    How can I get the variations to appear in the order I intend them to appear?

    Also, I notice that after updating to the latest WP, my favicon is gone, replaced by the WP favicon. Any idea how I can restore that?

    Hey,
    Looks like you have enabled the transparent header until scrolled by default, but this can be overridden for each page. For your homepage you need to set “Transparent Header on Home page?” to “True” from Theme Options > Home Page Header.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Ben-
    Yeah, we have the shortcode on both the search pages and the results pages. The process you identified in their documentation works. In working with the Plugin developer on this issue we determined that we had inadvertently introduced a problem in our customizations for our layout. Problem solved. Thanks for your time, I’ll mark the thread as resolved.

    Hi Laura,
    You can use this css to remove the header and set the content background to black:

    .page-id-1108 header#kad-banner {
        display: none;
    }
    .page-id-1108 .contentclass {
        background: #000;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Hannah,

    No it is only on the backend – when we try to edit the page (either from the “Edit Page” in the admin bar, or Pages > Edit in the dashboard).
    The frontend page shows up fine.

    I just updated one website and am checking out the changes. The side dashboard is not seen on editing pages or posts. How can I get it back? Also, top bar not seen either for logging out. Help appreciated.

    Hey, Ben. I am coming back to this issue after a couple of years. I hope it’s ok to simply reply to this thread.

    I did not try building a slider, that seems a bit overkill for every single post to have a unique header. I am not sure how to enter the image html into the shortcode field. This is the image URL: http://clearwatertrekker.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Giant-Elephants-with-old-man.jpg, but what’s the html? I did try entering: into the shortcode field, but that didn’t work. Neither did: .

    I tried uploading the feature blog post image from my media into the Background Image field. I also added a title in the Post Header Title field. I made sure the Hide Page Title Area was set to SHOW, and Transparent Header was set to FALSE. But no dice.

    I went to Theme Options, Blog Settings and set Blog Default Title Text to Blog Title (previously, I had it set to Custom with a blank title field). This gave me the blog post title in the header, but still no custom header image.

    I would really like my blog posts to look like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium-2/have-less-do-more-be-more/ with custom images for each blog. I don’t like having to have text on this image, but I’m sure I can work with that.

    I appreciate your help. Thank you!

    are you using a shortcode on the page you are setting up as the search page?

    This is a workaround with more browser support:

    .page-id-1395 img.ascend-logo {
        display: none;
    }

    .page-id-1395 a.brand.logofont {
        width: 82px;
        background: url(https://taiyakinghungary.hu/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/logo-spajzfutar.png) no-repeat;
        background-size: contain;
        background-position: center;
    }

    Hi, in this site ine/tienda/0077-frutas-jimenez/ we are using the multivendor plugin to have more than one vendor in the site…

    so the ine/tienda/0077-frutas-jimenez/ is a vendor page, and i spoke with the plugin author and they told me they don’t manage the sidebar…. so i think i can hide it from the theme configuration…. but i tried to act on the shop configuration siderbar setting…but no way… is there some conflict?

    thank you very much

    Hi,

    I am using Learndash and in the learndash-post-type “sfwd-courses” I’d love being able to use the same template options as in “pages” under page-attribute. Hope you can help me with this! (I use Pinnacle Premium with activated child theme)

    Best,
    Bernhard

    Hey,
    You should see a dropdown arrow beside Add New when creating a new post that allows you to choose which editor. Is this not the case for you? Which editor is it defaulting to when you create a new page?
