Hi guys,
Huge fan of this theme but we do need help occasionally.
I’d like to reduce the padding between menu items so they do not wrap in the container. I’ve sifted through a ton of forum topics but none of the css recommendations seem to stick.
– site (dev): *Login to see link
– header style: basic, with shrink for sticky
– enable sticky header: on
– Limit Max Page to 940px: on
Using inspection mode in different browsers I can get the menu to fit by adjusting the column padding from 15px to 5px or so. But I just can’t seem to find the specific nav css selection to drop into advanced settings.
Any ideas on the right css to make this work?
Cheers!
Steve B.
a) OK if you’re wanting the slider images to show in the header I would actually suggest creating a kadence slider for your posts. Then paste the kadence slider shortcode into the “Override and use a Shortcode Slider” output under Post Title and Subtitle in your post edit page. Or, if you’re wanting the slider below the header but above the title you can set your post format to Gallery and then choose to show a slider in the
Post Head Content. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/ascend-premium/post-types/blog-posts/blog-post-gallery/
b) You can paste it into an existing page. Just make sure the correct editor is being used.
c) Yes, it will automatically create a paragraph block.

Hi Brandon,
You can create a second page using the blog template and choose to only show a specific category on that page. Then you can format it however you want and add any content.
Hope that’s helpful!

Sorry for the delay. So you’re not wanting an image in your header? Or are you wanting a slider in your header? Sorry for not understanding. If there is an example page of what you’re wanting that would be super helpful.
Hannah
Yes, only for the homepage. Glad you got it working!

If WPML is making a stance that they are not going to support SiteOrigin I suggest using Kadence Blocks or another Pagebuilder like elementor.

This functionality should be working by default already. Can you confirm you are not overriding it in your edit pages?

Tengo instalado virtue_premium y he creado mi theme child pero al seleccionar “Show page title by default
” en apagado me lo sigue mostrando cabe mencionar que tambien en la opción de la página lo seleccione como “Hide”.
This css should do it for you:
.category-6 .page-header {
display: none;
}

Hi Hannah,
Thanks for the reply! It works, as; the link indeed changes. However, I now see the content of our homepage on this page instead of the staff content. How is that possible?
