You need to add your shortcode into your theme options, not your static homepage. After selecting the Shortcode Entry in Theme Options > Home Page Header you’ll see a tab where you can add the shortcode. Try that and let me know how it works.
As for the about page, can you link to that? Or send a screenshot? Thanks!

In forum: Ascend ThemeJanuary 29, 2020 at 7:45 am #243991Dear Hannah,
a new question: I’m using in another project also Ascend with Demo “Agency Block”. In the “About” page is the content behind the header. The content startet on the top of the page and the text is behind logo and menu wich are in the header. Any idea?
Thank you 🙂

Here is the Shop page whereI’d like it to be 3 columns

Then once you click on a category you’ll see the page with subcategories and products which we’d like to be 6 columns
In forum: Membership ForumsJanuary 28, 2020 at 3:13 pm #243967Hi Ben,
Your Woocommerce Product page plugin does not seem to respect the global default style for Heading and Body don’t I have set. Other ”ordinary” pages do so without issue. What can be done to resolve this and to stop the system fonts being displayed on the product page? E.g. Please can you add the ability to set the Typography in the Elementor editor for each element of the product page?
Thanks in anticipation.

In forum: Membership ForumsJanuary 28, 2020 at 1:53 pm #243957Hi,
I am working on my site and have installed a Style Kit plugin (*Login to see link I have a problem on my Kadence created Product Page, no matter what I try, the page uses the standard system font for the machine (Segoe UI – Windows 10 and System-UI – MacOS) ie it ignores the global fonts I have set for Headings and Body Text.
Please can you help me overcome this issue.
See *Login to see link as an example. I currently have a version of the CSS you helped me with the other day in the Product Tag Custom CSS:
#tab-description h2 {
font-size: 16pt; color: #660099; margin-bottom: 3px;
}Thanks in anticipation.
PaulIn forum: Ascend ThemeGreetings and thanks for your assistance here. On the home page of http://www.GlobalDentalHealthcare.com the kadence slider pro is working perfectly for months, I went to build another slider on *Login to see link – the first time I built it all was OK, I made some updates and can no longer see the images on the loaded page although the images are there in the slider creation interface. The home page slider works AOK, it’s just the new slider that isn’t showing. Anything you can do to assist is greatly appreciated. One last piece, I’m not using Guttenberg and I’m building the pages with Site Origin. Thanks – Gene
In forum: Ascend ThemeHi Frank,
Firstly, yes. Kadence is compatible with Polylang:) Is it just the homepage that you’re experiencing this? The header on your homepage pulls from Theme Options > Home Page Header, not from your static homepage settings. So in your homepage header settings in theme options instead of selecting your Kadence Slider, choose the “shortcode entry” then add the shortcode for your default language slider. Next, go to string translations in Polylang and “translate” that shortcode for your other language using the second slider shortcode. Does that make sense?Hannah

Hey Judith,
On some of your pages there is not enough content on the page to push the footer down. See this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/knowledge-base/footer-always-at-bottom/
Hope it’s helpful!Hannah

In forum: Ascend ThemeJanuary 28, 2020 at 7:28 am #243923I have Ascend Premium installed and built my homepage using KAdence blocks. For some reason I can’t figure out, when you clock on the read more for a story on the home page, instead of bringing the reader to the story, it brings them to the top of the home page. Maybe I’m missing something obvious but I just can’t figure out why it is doing this. The site is *Login to see link . Thanks

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello, i’m working on a site, to pass it to WP, mhinternacional.com but header is transparent and when sticky becomes black.
i’ve found in support forums that Ben Ritner provided a CSS hack for that, that worked for me:
.home.stickyheader #kad-banner {
position: absolute;
width: 100%;
background: transparent;
transition:background .3s ease;
}
.home.stickyheader .is-sticky #kad-banner { background: rgba(255,255,255,0.8);}.home #kad-banner-sticky-wrapper {
height: 0 !important;
}But when using it, if i scroll page down, and then up all header just crash and moves up… it don’t takes it original position.
mhinternacional.com/prueba
how can i fix it? Thank you for your help.

Is there a way to make the banner (in a row) on each page of my website the same width as the top bar and footer?
Thank you
