Hi,

I’m working on a new website that lists the client services in accordion panels on the Services page. Here’s a link to the staging site: *Login to see link

What I would like to do is: have these from the homepage info boxes open the corresponding individual service accordion panel on the Services page.

I’ve added HTML anchors to each accordion panel title and set up links to each panel from the services info boxes on the homepage. The links from the homepage work in that they open the Services page but I would also like the linked panel to open. Is this possible?

The demo has 4 types of home page. When I import the theme, the home page style 3 is loaded and I want to install the home page style 4 …

When importing, do not let you choose the type of home page, right? How do I set the home page to style 4?

Hi HeeJae,
1. You can make a page builder row full height by adding padding to the top and bottom. Another option is to use the Kadence Slider. There’s an option within the settings to set the slider to full width and full height.

2. Try using this css instead:

.container #content {
    width: 100%;
    max-width: 1500px;
}

Hey Ryan,
Have you tried using the testimonials block? https://www.kadenceblocks.com/testimonial-block/ That will allow you to style the grid to look almost the same as the page template.

I am trying to add 2 testimonials grids to a single page. I cannot do this with setting the page template to “testimonials grid”, as it only allows 1 grid at a time (but I like the styling of these testimonial items). I tried, instead, to add a “post grid/carousel” block that called upon the Testimonials post type, but I’m not able to style it with the available options like testimonials. Is there some way I can edit the “post grid/carousel” block to look like the testimonials grid page template?

Thanks, I did that and deactivated the woo-commerce plugin.

I received the following messages:
You do not have a 301 redirect to https active in the settings. For SEO purposes it is advised to use 301 redirects. You can enable a 301 redirect in the settings. View settings page

I went in and click to enable it and then it says:-
There has been a critical error on your website.

1. Sorry for misunderstanding. The body font set in theme options > typography is meant to affect your post/page body text. It looks like your multilingual plugin is overriding this setting though. You could try deactivating your plugins to test this. Or I would also suggest reaching out to the plugin developers.

2. Have you checked your spam folder?

Can you remove the folder from your server under plugins for “kadence-woo-template-builder”. That should let you upload the latest version, it seems there is a piece left that needs to be removed so you can upload from the my-account page.

I’m trying to show in my Home-page only the portfolio’s pages of the main categories.
I don’t want to show the subcategories.

ok, That is possible, with a shortcode in the page content.
[portfolio_types orderby='date' columns='4' height='300']

items is not a parameter of the shortcode, so it would not have any effect.

childcategories is set to the boolean false by default. If you don’t want child categories then you leave that parameter out of your shortcode. The shortcode can’t pass a boolean, only a string so the string “false” is the same as “true” when looking for a boolean response. By adding childcategories=false you were actually changing the default behavior and making it so children wouldn’t show. (YES I realize that is confusing, Sorry, that is what threw hannah off. I’ll update that in the theme in the future)

I set up the portfolio shortcode for you and added a child category so you can see it working.

We use the theme Ascend on our page and have through that package access to Page Builder. We also use Yoast for a lot of things. At the moment these to does not work together. If Yoast is active the function of editing in the Page Builder totally disappears on posts, pages and projects. We are only left with the normal visual and text-editing option that Word Press has. I find it weird since it is one of the most used SEO-plugin for word press.

Is there something that can be done to have both of these plugins active at the same time or must we wait for plugin updates?

I try to set Options > Misc Settings you can set “Limit Max Page to 940px” to “On” but is not OK, if Row Layout is set to “Full Width” mode the content is over 904px (you can see contact form at the end of https://antennisticaoddo.it/

Do you want that sitewide, or just in certain rows? In Theme Options > Misc Settings you can set “Limit Max Page to 940px” to “On”. Is that what you mean?
