That’s what I’m currently doing. The CSS code that you gave removes the Summary image on the Home page, regardless of whether there’s one included (and indicated in the Standard Post Options) or not. Is there a way to display the image on the Home Page if one is included and Image is selected in the Post Summary option, but to default to suppressing the image if Text is selected in the Post Summary.

Hey,
Select2 is loaded by woocommerce. You can note that in your url. So even if you don’t want the theme to use it woocommerce will.

You can turn off wc-quantity-increment-min.js in your theme options > shop archive settings. Scroll to the bottom and turn off: Quantity Box plus and minus

kt-add-to-cart-variation-min.js only needs to load on the product page, originally it was loaded everywhere for caching but with that all changing in browser I have plans to only load it on the product page.

kt-tiles, kadence-slick, kadence-sticky are in the process of being moved to load conditionally.

You can turn off tiles and slick easily enough, sticky just make sure you are not using the sticky header.

The anchor for the sidebar is #ktsidebar you can use that as a link when you add a link to your page through a paragraph.

When I create a menu that has just categories as the main item, then their descriptions appear. I can’t leave this up long as it is a live site, but look at the secondary menu, where I have just the categories. If the categories are submenus of a main item menu, this does not happen.

I just want to mention that this has happened to me as well.

I tested a form, it worked fine. Then I got emails from a couple of clients saying that the form had given them an error. I went to my website and tested it, also got an error with an “Invalid Token” message in the console. I went into the page that the form is on, clicked through the fields, and seeing nothing wrong, I pressed “Update” to resave the page. Tried the form again, and this time it worked.

I don’t have a reproducible example for you, but figured I’d bring this up.

Hi Hannah,

I’m uploading a splash page image 3215 x 2000 with text and company log and it is being scaled to 2560 × 1593. Normally this would be a large enough image, but I would like the image to fill the screen.

I have been trying to use the Kadence slider and I’m starting think that it might just be better to create a page in HTML. It does concern me that the image resizing may be an issue as I develop the site.

Could the hosting company be controlling the image size somehow?

In your individual post edit pages you can set the post summary for that specific post under Standard Post Options.

Which slider are you using? You can create a slider that goes fully across the page using the fullwidth slider or the Kadence slider.

You can use this css to remove the uppercase on your sub menu items:

ul.sub-menu.sf-dropdown-menu.dropdown a {
    text-transform: none !important;
}

Sorry, I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking in regards to the product category pages. Could you link to an example of what you’re wanting your product category pages to look like?
In Theme Options > Shop Archive Settings you can set the Default Layout for product archive pages to No sidebar layout.

It looks like that first row is being set to 500px. When you edit that widget, in the page builder settings do you see an option to adjust the height?

I’m currently seeing your title and text aligned left in all three boxes. Are you wanting something different?

…On a related note, I have Site Origins page builder plus Kadence Blocks Page Builder Toolkit, as per Kadence recommendations – do I need them both, or are they offering the same functionality? (I think the site was built using Site Origins originally, pre Gutenberg…)

Hi Hannah,
I tried the CSS and it’s removed some of the padding on the About Us page header image, thanks. As to “you’ve added margin to the top of your image blocks from the image block settings”, I’m afraid I don’t know what that’s referencing; can you clarify? (I didn’t specify padding anywhere and I’ve checked the block info for that image and don’t see anything about padding there. If there’s a default somewhere, I’m not sure where that is – I usually use classic editor mode and not Gutenberg blocks.)

Also,

1. For the portfolio i have two types Website Design and Logo Design. Is it possible to have a different image for each type? For example if I create a page in my portfolio for a client I have done both website and logo work for when I view the logo design page I would rather see just the logo than the website image showing? But would still like them both to go to the same page?

2. Can i have a link that says view website if people hover over the thumbnail rather than the lightbox?

3. Can I show a single testimonial on a portfolio page. For example If people are viewing Joe Bloggs portfolio page can I show only Joe Bloggs’ testimonial? (It would be handy if the Post / Grid item in the Kadence Blocks Pro had the testimonials in it as well).

I am trying to use the WP Term Popup for site-wide agreement to Terms and Conditions. Plug-in activated fine but when trying to preview it does not function properly and then started sending me to Page Not Found. Can we use WP Term Popup with Virtue Theme? I need to make sure people agree to the site T&C and Privacy. Thank you. -Lorian
