Hey,
In your page content you are adding this:<a class="sb-calendar" data-embed="true" href="https://cal.smoothbook.co/5dd3351e4020e95ede1158e7"><img src="https://api.smoothbook.co/img/book-now-button.png" alt="Online appointments by Smoothbook"><a/>And it should be this:
<a class="sb-calendar" data-embed="true" href="https://cal.smoothbook.co/5dd3351e4020e95ede1158e7"><img src="https://api.smoothbook.co/img/book-now-button.png" alt="Online appointments by Smoothbook"></a>The broken link creates issues with the rest of the code on your page.

Please see the attached screenshot of this page:

You will note the empty rectangle just above and to the left of the Facebook Social Icon and Text, I’ve looked in the Widget and there’s nothing except the Facebook URL, strangely it only appears on this page, please advise, thank you.
Cheers.

Okay, Ben, when I changed the h5 heading to Yevesa One (which is to be used only for the Drop Cap) it changes the title of blog posts shown on the homepage under “Latest Blog Posts” and also other small headings, such as in the author text below posts.
Any other suggestions?

Hi Hannah,
Site is running php 7.1
The page with the error is

it is a fresh install of both.
Thanks
KevinGood afternoon,
I have been referred here from the WordPress support forums. I’m currently using the most up-to-date version of Virtue Premium, but I’m having issues with my cart page using the WooCommerce plugin.
The issue I’m having is that the the small red X button to remove an item from cart is not visible when viewed on mobile. This is a problem for one of my items in particular – membership, which I have set that people can’t select a quantity greater than one. For other items, you can decrease the quantity in checkout which will remove the item from your cart, but for membership, which is restricted to one item per customer, this is not possible. So there is no way to remove the membership item from the cart.
Desktop view – red cross symbol visible on left
Mobile view – no option to remove item:
On the WordPress support forums, it was suggested using the following CSS, however this doesn’t seem to have fixed the issue:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive table.shop_table .product-remove {
display: block !important ;
}}I wondered if you could advise me how to rectify this problem, please?
Thanks in advance.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Shop and Shop Category pages
Hey Jay,
1. You can add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:.tax-product_cat .woocommerce-product-details__short-description { display: none; }2. From Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog set the Shop page display to Products only.
Hope that helps!

ThanksIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Sitewide greys
Hi Kevin, so sorry for very late response – project was delayed for a while.
There are quite a few different greys I’d like to change – I’m not sure if many of them are sub-elements of others, and thus could be adjusted in groups? You can see them on https://rollieuk.com and https://roll.ie (almost clones of each other, just adapted for local currency and contact info):
- I’d like to change the light grey borders around elements such as the Facebook and Twitter icons in the menu, and the ‘default sorting’ dropdown box and unselected view option box (list or grid view) as seen on, e.g., https://rollieuk.com/product-category/credit-card-rolls/.
- I’d like to change other grey elements such as left and right arrow backgrounds (unhovered, hovered) on carousels, as can be seen on the front page of rollieuk.com.
In the sidebar, I’d like to change the greys as follows:
- Search text input box – background colour, text, search icon
- Line appended to sidebar header (e.g. Product Categories, Roll Dimensions) and underlines below categories (e.g. Laundry rolls, Till Rolls, Credit Card Rolls)
Let me know what you think.
(For the musician website I mentioned, I went with the Bandsintown tour widget for calendar, so that’s sorted, thank-you! I also installed Spotify and Apple Music widgets, tho’ they’re not displaying in IE – guessing that’s unrelated to the theme tho’!)
Thanks very much!

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I have added a border to my #kad-banner in order to separate the header from the content in product and blog entry pages. How can I keep some sort of padding on the individual product pages without affecting my other pages? Now, you’ll see the product page content is crammed up into the #kad-banner border. See link in below comment.
Sincerely,
AnitaIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Kadence Fullpane Slider

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi, Gang!
This might be a question for Ben. 😉 Please educate me on using Fonts in coding.
For example…..In using SiteOrigin Pagebuilder, the DROP CAP option is obviously not available. (Drop cap is available only with Kadance Blocks.) So to achieve my goal in using a Drop Cap on my posts, I used this CSS code:
.entry-content .firstcharacter {
color: #333d51;
float: left;
font-family: Yeseva One;
font-size: 75px;
line-height: 60px;
padding-top: 4px;
padding-right: 8px;
padding-left: 3px;
}Then used this code before my first sentence of post.
<span class=”firstcharacter”>[LETTER]</span> (Inserting the first letter of the first word in post where it says [LETTER].
As you see, I have used a Google font “Yeseva One.”
My questions are these:
1) How does the site know to grab Yeseva One?
2) Is that font part of the Google Fonts used in the fonts for Kadence Pro Slider?
3) Will visitors to the site see that drop cap as I have it designated?Thank you for your willingness to clarify for me. I don’t want to use a font that will be changed to another font by default and look weird.

November 19, 2019 at 3:13 pm #2408322. I’m more than happy to provide a “solution” I just don’t know what kind of behavior you would like to see. I can give you CSS to prevent the tap hover effect, but you didn’t seem to want that.
PLEASE: create new topics or new questions; it helps us so much!
3. I don’t know what you are asking. It sounds like you want to seed your own searches with images that won’t link to the places a customer is searching for. Perhaps you can give me some more details as to what you want. An example would be great!
4. It’s possible (anything technically is), but it’s not an option. To do that, you would need to custom code some kind of filter to replace the title for certain attribute pages… Or add in custom CSS for each archive you want to remove the title for. For SEO it would be really bad to remove the page title (also for usability, it’s highly unadvisable). Maybe if you create a mockup showing how this is supposed to look I’ll have some better suggestions.
Just for the sake of clarification,” a search is performed” is not accurate. The link you sent is an archive; it’s not creating any custom search of your database.

2. It’s not unlikely that I just don’t know how to swipe. When I do that, the darkbox appears and I don’t know how to make it go away again. I’m okay with leaving it as it is for now, though. If people write to me about it, I’ll probably be back looking for a solution again. 🙂
New questions:
3. We have some images that we create as ‘eye candy’, and I’d like for those to appear in searches. Will I need to make a page for each? If they aren’t product pages, will they be included when a site search is made?
4. When a menu item under “Yarn” is selected, a search is performed. The results of that search are displayed in a gallery format. Is it possible for me to display a graphic for each of those menu driven searches? Right now, the color group or yarn base name appears at the top of the page. I’m imagining replacing that name with a graphic. Here’s an example. https://meadowcroft-dyeworks.com/color_group/blues/
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Splash Page?
Hey Dorcas,
Unfortunately there isn’t a way to use the landing page on your actual homepage as the homepage template will automatically override it. However, if you’re wanting to remove the header and footer from the homepage you can do so with this css:.home #kad-banner-sticky-wrapper, .home header#kad-banner, .home #containerfooter { display: none; }We very much appreciate reviews:) You can leave one here: https://www.kadencewp.com/product/virtue-premium-theme/#reviews

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Splash Page?
November 19, 2019 at 9:05 am #240817Hi, I’d like to have the homepage of the website be a ‘Splash Page’ or ‘Entry Page’ – i.e. with no header or footer. The ‘Landing Page’ within Page Attributes > Template is perfect for that. However when I make that page be the homepage (in Appearance > Customise), the Menu and Footer appears again. Is there any easy way around that within Virtue?
Thanks.
P.S. Where should I review you guys about how great you are? Your support is so good, thank-you.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Thumbnail Size
I am using a site origin thumbnail at the bottom of many of my site pages. The image size is set to Thumbnail (theme defined). When the pages were originally designed the thumbnail displayed with no cropping. Now the thumbnail appears to be 450×450. The image I am trying to display is a thumbnail of a 9×11.5 image. Is there a setting I could use or an edit I could make that would display the thumbnail in its entirety and not crop it to square?

November 19, 2019 at 8:23 am #240813Hey,
1. On your contact page, it shows you’ve set that page to use a “transparent” header. I think you mean to have that off.2. This site is not accessible.
