The Blog Archives widget is disappearing from the sidebar of my client’s blog when the sidebar wraps to the bottom of the page in iPad portrait mode in Chrome and Firefox, and in iPad Pro portrait mode in Safari.

The dropdown displays fine on every other device that pushes the sidebar to the bottom of the page in portrait mode.

This is not happening on the demo site I imported, so I’m guessing there is some conflicting CSS.

Hoping you can help me identify the problem. I will provide screenshots and account access in a private reply.

Sorry, this css should limit the affect to only your homepage:

}

Does that work as you’re wanting?

Hello!
Error while opening woocommerce pages.
For some reason, plugins are initialized 2 times.

TablePress plugin error message is particularly bothering
“DataTables warning: table id=tablepress-8 – Cannot reinitialise DataTable. For more information about this error, please see *Login to see link

If I choose a different themes, the errors disappear.
Disabling plugins other than woocommerce does not help
Please fix as soon as possible

PS on the above: I just tried using a media query so the blog page images aren’t affected, but I can only do it for phone size. If I use the tablet breakpoint, the images on the blog page get too small in tablet view.

Is there a way to pinpoint the images in “Latest from the Blog” without using a media query?

Unfortunately, the .kt-intrinsic-container.kt-intrinsic-container-center selectors are shrinking the featured images on the blog page as well as the thumbnails in “Latest from the Blog.”

Also, the thumbnails used in “Latest from the Blog” are 270x270px. At 500px the image gets blurry.

372px is the width of the border box on the biggest phone in portrait mode. I’d be happy with that max size, if we can get a selector that only changes the “Latest from the Blog” images, and not the images on the front page of the blog.

Hello:
I would like to adjust the alignment of the “Latest from the Blog” section on the home page in phone and tablet view.

Desktop view looks good, where the text is to the right of the thumbnail.

In phone view, “Latest from the Blog” is centered on the page, but not over the single image below it; the image is left all the way to the border edge. The text underneath the image is indented from the left edge (screenshot attached). My client thought this was an error.

I would like the image in phone and tablet view to be 100% of the width of the bordered box. On the phone, this would align “Latest from the Blog” over the image.

The tablet view is less of an issue, with two posts side-by-side under the title, but it also would look more balanced if the thumbnails spanned the width of the bordered boxes around the posts.

The desired 100%-width treatment is already occurring on the Recent Posts carousel on blog pages (screenshot attached).

I don’t want any change in the desktop view.

My New site, http://www.ahyoudmd.dreamhosters.com. I have a call to action just below the header on every page. This has been working fine since yesterday.

I had created a Call To Action by doing the following.

1. Create a Kadence Blocks Pro Row with a background image.
2. Add Kadance Blocks Advanced Button to center.
3. Define Animation on Button to Zoom-In on load.
I place this call to action on every page. This worked fine for 2-3 months. Now when I open the block editor on every non-home page with the call to action just below the header, only the Advanced Button block shows invalid content. I tried to Recover the block, but selecting the recovery does nothing. Earlier in the day I updated the Gutenberg plugin, maybe this caused the problem.

Tried something else to narrow down the problem:
On one of the pages, I deleted the entire call to action block and recreated it. When defining the Advanced Button block I am unable to set Animation parameters. When I save and exit the editor and open the edit window again it shows the invalid content block error on the Advanced Button. When I select Recovery, the block reapears, but I am still unable to set any Animation.

Thanks Ben,

Is it necessary to add a text layer for each slide in the slider?
Also, the plan is for the slider to be added to all pages (including “Home”). I just put it on Q+A as a demonstration.

Hi Rebecca,
You can hide the image on a post setting the post summary to text in the post edit page. Or, you can change the placeholder for all of your blog posts in Theme Options> Blog Options, and set your “Default post summary feature Image.” Would either of these options work for you?

On this page the product image is not showing the correct image sizes when options are selected for the product. It should be showing at 1000 x 1000

If this is for one page you should add as a text layer in your slider. No point adding a child theme custom config for one page.

Thank you for your quick response.
Adding your code in the child theme works great! However, switching off the title in my setting does not have any effect. I have the title 2 times now. Setting H5 title to display: none does not resolve my issue with ryte, as the H5 title is still on the page.
Is there anything else I can do?

I do see that the REPLY images are all able to be cycled now… perfect. A couple observations:

1) It appears that all of the REPLY images cycle but if you click the original TOPIC image it does not allow you to cycle? Maybe because that’s considered a separate image from the rest?

2) Would you know a simple and easy way to OMIT the very small thumbnail images from being able to be cycled?
