OMG, how embarrassing.

Here’s what I was trying to accomplish with that CSS: my client’s older posts don’t have a featured image set, so the blog top-level page is showing the gray “Image Placeholder” box on those posts (and there are probably several hundred with this condition). How can I hide those placeholders without hiding the featured images on all the other posts (the majority) that do have a featured image set? The gray boxes look like errors to website visitors, understandably.

I’ll give some examples in a private reply.

I’m seeing the shop page load normally? Can you send a screen shot? I did notice that your child theme is incorrectly loading a stylesheet. I suggest fixing that in your code.

After reading the Kadence article “Best Practices for Image Sizes and Optimization in WordPress,” I used the ShortPixel Image Optimizer plugin to optimize my site’s media library. I used the Glossy compression to optimize 791 images/PDFs and 5,173 thumbnails.

Now the thumbnails on the blog do not display. Thumbnails do appear in the Recent Posts carousel at the bottom of each individual blog post page.

I have contacted ShortPixel about this and am waiting to hear back, but I thought there might be something specific to the Kadence theme that could shed light on why this is happening. I will post account details in a private reply.

Hi, in this page *Login to see link we have a few tabs within a few woocommerce products.. you can see that every time you click on a tab the bottom page content is like is sliding down to make space the the clicked tab content… is there a way to clean a bit this behaviour …. for example delete every animation?

Just went to explore the option you provided.

Do you mean as well as having to create a new slider for every page, that every slide (or video clip) in the slider has to have a text layer added with the title in it?

Are there any shortcuts at all?

Hey Phil,
Unfortunately not. The slider will override the page title. You can add your title on top of the slider itself, but that would require you create a new slider for every page.

That is a site search which will output all post types. For a product search, you have to use a product search widget, that outputs like this: https://customweddinggarter.com/?s=01-B03&post_type=product

Is not set with meta-information about its size. It’s likely the image is corrupted or your database failed to record the size. The output is width=0 height=0

You can add css to force a size (theme options > advanced settings > custom css):

.product_item .image_flip_back img {
    width: 100%;
    height: 100%;
}

I would suggest uploading a larger image so it’s better quality, especially for retina screens since that is the majority now.

I’m not sure what I am supposed to look for on the single product pages?

I’m using the Ascend theme and Kadence Slider Pro to show a slider of videos in the header of every page. I see from this post that it is necessary to add the slider shortcode manually on every page to do this.

Once the video slider is showing, the page title is no longer overlaid. Is there a way to have the page title show over the slider on each page?

Some images don’t show up at all on product pages… Images are correct on the server and in the media library…

In your page settings you can enable the page header, set that to off, next you can enable the transparent header, set that to on.
