I’ve installed the demo content successfully and changed colors/images/text, but I’d like to add some things. To do so I thought I would try implementing Page Builder Site Origin, but when I convert to editor, I loose a lot of the design intricacies – the code does not carry over to Page Builder correctly, even if I copy and past it before switching to Page Builder.

I am using the Agency version of Ascend. I did not save my work, so the demo content is still displaying as shown in your demo, but when previewing from top to bottom, some things that stand out are: there is a top margin or padding I can’t figure out how to eliminate, the fun jagged bottom border disappears from the top image, the split content style images after with their overlaid text get all enlarged and the overlay is messed up, the bottom three image blocks get out of alignment. It’s really odd. The demo content code on the page is beyond me to build more with it as is, though comfortable making light html changes to what is there, obviously.

I do know I can add page sections via Theme Options. In adding something like Blog Grid Posts, its full width all the way to the edge, which is just not aesthetic. I typically would design/build with Page Builder because I can better control the layout. But in doing so, the beauty of the demon content is lost.

Any advice you can offer would be wonderful… what I’m doing wrong or maybe something is being glitchy. Currently building website here *Login to see link THANK YOU!

See examples in uploaded images: On my iMac (High Sierra, Chrome) and ThinkPad laptop (Win10, Chrome), images load for me across the site. But they do not load at all on in Chrome on my Samsung Tab A tablet or Galaxy S8 phone (both Android). My publicist reports no images at all, using an iMac and Safari (other image). We’ve cleaned caches and restarted browsers with no effect.

This is a recent problem. Though I can’t pinpoint the date it started, it wasn’t occurring several weeks back.

Images load OK for me when using Virtue Premium, also when I try live previews with these themes: Brick, Twenty Seventeen, Twenty Nineteen, and even Virtue (not premium). We’re a small organization and don’t have a staging site, and I can’t afford to be offline while disabling and re-enabling plugins.

You would need to set the home page as the “posts page” in settings reading, then add “page content” as enabled in your theme options > home layout.

I’m not sure I understand the second question can you post an image of what you mean?

Typically it is not needed at the page content will push the footer to the bottom of the page.

Hey,
You have added this css:

.page-id-14 .wp-block-table {
width: 120px;
margin-left: 45%;
padding: 0px;
}

Just update that to this:

.page-id-14 .wp-block-table {
    width: 140px;
    min-width: 140px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    padding: 0px;
}

Tried already some options like: with homepage as latest posts under ‘Reading’, or as page with latest posts through ‘Home Page Layout’, Page with Blog Template. Maybe there are to many options 🙂

Second, I use a plugin named WP Socializer that makes a popup with social media icons above selected text. Works great on every page except homepage (open a single post page to see it in action).
I can see the JS event in inspector but it just doesn’t pop up. Can this be somehow theme related, because the author says it should work on any ‘.entry-content’ class.

I called GoDaddy last night and asked if their caching might be interrupting the shopping cart and checkout flow of the site? They told me their caching caches all of the pages automatically via their SSL protection, but should not cause an issue to my site because its the same for thousands of other wordpress/woocommerce sites they host. Are the session and database caching you mentioned different from what I mentioned?

I have two social media icons on a page, I made it with custom html.
They look fine on my browse but on mobile they are off to the right.
Is there a better way to do this? or do you know how to make it so that it’s centered on mobile?

So the mobile logo is not showing, even though it appears to be loading in the inspector. It does load on the homepage, but not on any of the subpages
when I check and uncheck it in the css on the inspector it will show up but is not added on load.

The desktop version looks fine.

Hi Ben, I’ve been using Firefox on my PC and Safari on my iPhone. I just tried adding a product on my iPhone and it allowed me to go all the way to the payment page… It wouldn’t let me do that till now. I wonder if it’s just a one-off or is the issue fixed now?
