    Hi,

    Having issues with multiple widgets at end of posts. I can identify them, but not others. And I have no idea where they are coming from.

    I’m going to post link to one page so that you can see and login info.

    Thank you,
    Pam

    Hi, I was looking at this demo and thinking I’d like to duplicate the effect of the single image and text column animation on the home page (eg Ethiopia Coffee etc)…

    …So I installed the demo on my test site to see how it was done and noticed the home page is using shortcodes “kt_imgsplit”
    however this is not an option in the pinnacle shortcodes dropdown on the page builder editor

    I did find it however in the Virtue theme documentation…

    Is there are recommended course I should follow? …as I want to change an old site I developed using Pinnacle which isn’t using Gutenberg… I assume Gutenberg blocks have superseded all these shortcodes

    The home mobile header is different from the mobile header. It will only affect the homepage. Have you tried using it? It will do what you’re describing.

    I’ve had my site for several years and have never had a problem with plugins in general. However, now for some reason, When I go to my PLUGINS page, I’ve lost the “Activate-Edit-Delete” options that have always been listed under each of my plugins. Can someone help me figure how to restore those options?

    I am making changes to a page and after I save the edit and view the page the edit does not appear. I am clearing cache.

    How can I fix this?

    Thanks Hanna,

    1. Is there another option than to use Mobile Header? I ended up with a header in addition to the image I have on the desktop version. I would like to have an alternative image for portrait format (i.e. mobile and tablet). The effect I’m after is to have an almost full screen image (or slider) on desktop, with another on mobile. I have since reconfigured my home page to use a Slider Pro in place of a static image.

    2. the CSS for the footer worked fine – thank you!

    Hi,

    1) I inserted a YouTube video (middle of start page) through Video Popup Block and it’s not playing. It’pops up but it only shows a black popup. The same link plays well in the standard WP video block.

    2) It would be nice to show more than one video here, for example in a carousel, but I didn’t find a carousel block that can “hold” videos, only the one for posts. I wouldn’t want to use portfolio or other post just to flip 5 videos. Something like the testimonial block. I actually would use it if it could play video and I think you can turn this into a request: Video testimonials. Maybe you can throw some other ideas.

    3) on the DOCS/FAQ page I use a sidebar. Is there a way to have this sidebar on top in mobile view?

    Thank you

    You need to turn it off in your blog edit page. From your WP Admin Panel navigate to Pages then find your blog page. Then under Page Title and Subtitle set “Hide Page Title Area” to “hide”. Does this make sense?

    When I go to Theme Options -> Blog Settings and carefully look at every single option, I don’t see an option to turn off the title for the main blog landing page. Am I looking in the wrong place? If so, where else can I look? I have cruised around all the other sections under Theme Options and turned off titles everywhere else and I still can’t find the place where I turn off this title.

    Hello!

    Regarding this page:

    I would like to edit the contact form as follows:

    -Remove the Captcha
    -Decrease the boldness of the font in the form
    -Change the submit button color to #31BEE8

    Please let me know if this is possible, and if so, how I can do it.

    Thank you again for all your help!

    Hey Amber,
    In your blog edit page under Page Title and Subtitle set “Hide Page Title Area” to “hide”.
    Hope that helps!

    How can I remove the section with the word ‘blog’ at the top of the page?

    Thank you!

    Regarding this page:

    Is there any way to change the light green font color? I think my preference would be to use #31BEE8 but I would need to experiment and see what that looks like. My second choice would be to use #231F20

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello!

    I have page where I should add manually (not featured or on sale) picked products at the end of page. I’m looking everywhere, but can’t find how I could do this. There was plugin WooCommerce Blocks which offer such feature, but obviously it don’t work correctly. Please help resolve this. Thank You!

    Hey,
    1. You can remove the logo with this css:

    div#logo {
        display: none;
    }

    2. I’m seeing this in your css:

    .col-md-8, .span8 {
        width: 90%;
    }

    Are you adding that? That is pushing your sidebar down. If you want to remove the sidebar you can choose not to display it from your edit pages. For your homepage you can hide it from Theme Options > Home Layout.

    Hope that’s helpful!

    I have two questions re responsive layouts

    1. I may have imagined this (!) but I think you have made a very neat way to choose an alternative image for the home page on mobile devices? I have a landscape image for desktop/laptop, but would like a portrait image for tablet and mobile. I have searched but I can’t find an answer. I’m currently using an image widget/site builder.

    2. I have social media icons and © in the footer, held at the bottom of the page using the CSS you provided. It works great on desktop but misaligns on smaller devices. Is there anything I can do?

    Thanks again!

    Thanks again Hannah,
    I tried the code but not much effect, so I ended up removing the logo for now till I can spend more time on it, but then the sitename ‘Mimi Emmanuel’ appears instead of the logo grr. can I set it not to show? I have looked around everywhere but can’t find the option.

    also, I have been looking but can’t find how to stop my sidebar widget from appearing underneath every page on my site. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    1. Placing a div into the footer scripts area doesn’t really make sense. What is this script supposed to be doing for you? It seems more like something you would place into a widget area if it’s to show ads.

    Regardless, you can view source and see that all the code you posted here is output on the page. None of that is missing.

    2. Elementor removes the header on purpose. When you are using a header or footer template you have to use both:

    We require both header and footer to be implemented together, because most themes have an opening DIV tag in the header.php file and a closing tag in the footer.php file. If Elementor will replace the original footer file without the header, some DIV tags will remain open causing UI issues.

    There is a workaround I can look at placing into the theme that would allow/tell elememtor to only display one, I just haven’t had that many people lookin for this. But I’ll look into adding it.

    Hey,
    The page title (top section) is your h1 tag. By adding another h1 tag into the post content you are adding a second h1 tag. You shouldn’t do that. Just use the page title area.

    i tags are valid html, your scanner is just incorrectly assuming they are used differently: https://www.w3.org/International/questions/qa-b-and-i-tags.en

    That is a notice you can ignore as it’s not correct.
