Hello,

I have a an online quiz on one of my webpages. This quiz is working fine on the cell phone devices. But on the desktop view, the drop down options look double and the function does not work properly. I am using the watupro plugin to design the quiz. The people from watupro said the plugin is working fine when they switched to default theme. They said its the CSS code of the Ascend theme which is causing the problem. You can visit this link to understand the issue and to advise a solution.

Shortcode tabs(tabs in general) are not designed for dynamic content like a mosaic gallery or sliders or maps, etc. You have to add in a hack.

First though I suggest using Kadence Blocks and using our tabs from there.

Else I can get you some css hack if you post a way to see the page.

Looks like you’ve added this into your child theme css:

.home .contentclass {
    background: url(https://socialwork.uky.edu/wp-content/uploads/background_home.png) no-repeat top center !important;
    background-size: cover !important;
}

That is controlling the homepage background.

Sorry to hear that. Is there something in particular you’re unhappy with?
You can also create a parallax effect using the row layout block within kadence blocks. Or most any page builder plugin.

No, it simply means Google wasn’t able to access all the scripts on your page so it wasn’t styled when they tested it. Get it retested. If they still show an error it means you are preventing Google from accessing your scripts. That could be from incorrect server settings or security measure.

I am trying to update my frontpage with kadance block, but it does not work as I can not update (message: the site could not be updated) and I can not preview the site (just showing the W). How can that be?

At the moment I use the homepage layout, but it does not work with WPML, so I would really like to change it as I also need testimonials on the frontpage.

Hey,
There shouldn’t be a compatibility issue with page builder by siteorigin and Virtue Premium. Can you tell me what version you’re running? Are you on an updated version of WordPress? Can you post a link?

When you use the back button to a get back to a page with tabs, it always shows the first tab. Quite annoying.

So I would like to use a link like *Login to see link where #sctab45105 refers to the tab to be opened.

Is that possible?

I’ve added an additional menu location to my website by adding a custom function into a child theme. I tested it out on my dev site and everything worked perfectly. However, now that I’ve added the code and information to my live site, it’s not showing up. I may be missing something but I cannot figure out what so I’m concerned that it might have to do with another issue Ben was helping me with: https://www.kadencewp.com/support-forums/topic/woocommerce-category-page/

The category issue mentioned there is now happening on the live site. I wonder if the hack Ben used to fix that issue would also fix this one? I can’t see anything different between the two sites so I can’t think of anything else that could cause the issue. Technically speaking, this is a separate issue though. So I figured I needed it back over in this other post.

Credentials included in the other post should work on both the dev and live site if anyone is available to check.

I use the “tab” and “portfolio_types” shortcodes on *Login to see link

There are two issues for I which I would like to ask your help.

1. After switching between tabs, the tiles are not properly positioned, they are on top of each other.
Manually resizing the browser window solves the issue. I guess certain javascript events are not triggered when switching between tabs.
Can you sort this out?

2. The size of the mosaic tiles is not correct. I assume if the portfolio picture is portrait, then it should be show in portrait format.
Try *Login to see link select business, resize the window. “Petra” and “Michaeler & Partner” should be portrait.
What to do about that?

I upload some screenshot, but you can get credentials for the site. Is it save to post them here or how to you go about that?

Hallo, I am very confused and need help.

I have amazon products advertised on my site which someone did for me. I then had to update the woo zone (I think) plugin and it wasn’t successfull. I now see the pages with info of the images is there but no images is showing? Someone the suggest I completely delete the plugin and upload new one. Will the images automatically appear when I upload aa new Woozone plugin (I see there is no free one available)?

I have the ‘WooCommerce 3.6.4 version’ plugin installed (by same person months ago) as well as the ‘YITH WooCommerce Category Accordion 1.0.28 version’ plugin. I know nothing about the set up and when I read the tutorial about Woocommerce I got the impression that plugin is all I need but then I read I need wordpress?

This is mind-boggling.

I dont want to delete all the plugins and start all over if I dont have to. Can you please direct me what is best – sorry but I cannot figure it out and rather ask for help than waste more hours. thank you
