I just updated wordpress, plugins and the pinnacle theme to make sure they are the latest versions, but i just cant get pinnacle premium & mosaic gallery images to display correctly some of the images are distorted

if i use the shortcode [gallery type="mosaic" link="file" caption="false" masonry="false" width="" height="" ids="8535,8536,8539,8540,8541,8542,8543,8544,8545,8546,8547,8548,8549,8550,8551,8553,8554,8555,8556,8557,8558,8559,8560,8561,8562,8563,8564,8565,8566,8567,8568,8569,8570,8571"]

and put this in the editor as text, or visual or even in a pagebuilder row it makes no difference

at the moment im using the pinnacle gallery widget

Hello,

I’m using the short code for displaying a blog post grid on my front page. I have added a box shadow on the grid items with css. If you look at the link (I’ll post it in the comment above), you’ll see there’s a white gap between the image and the grid item box, that becomes visible due to the box shadow effect.

I can’t for the life of me figure out how to remove this white gap/border, so that the image fills the edges of the grid items.

Do you see any way to solve this?

When I test your shortcode on my site there is no issue. Have you tried the same shortcode on a test page? Is the same issue happening?

Sorry I didn’t make this more clear, with parallax you can not define a position setting. By the nature of the way parallax works, it’s positioned “parallax”, which is overriding any other position setting you try to set.

In terms of the tiling, I did just see that. Changing the browser window size resolved it, which means that the js calculations that position the image to match scroll and placement on page load are coming up incorrect. This can happen if the page content height is changed past the initial load. Some layouts with things like lazy load can do this.
Can you temporarily turn off lazy loading your images and test?
If that works I can write you some script to force parallax to reload when lazy load affects the height of content and changes the page height.

Wow, that simple eh? I always put the Kadence shortcodes into Pagebuilder so I had no idea I couldn’t do it in this instance. I’ll pass that along to the plugin developer. Thanks Ben, this is great news.

No idea how that happened with the Permalink unless this plugin did that, but I restored it to the normal structure of /%postname%/

I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do. What are you wanting to edit in elementor on a single product page if you are using a template?

I see you have a custom permalink structure. /posts/%postname%/ did you mean to do that? IT’s not a normal structure?

Your issue was that you were putting the wpinventory shortcode into page builder which doesn’t work:

Just need to add it directly into the page.

Just beware that some plugins and most any embedded widget you might add won’t support this.

Visit THIS PAGE. You’ll see the 4 default products that come with the plugin. Clicking any one of them should (very quickly) display the details page for that product which would include a picture, some info, pricing, and I think a video for most or all of them. Clicking any one of these products, however, causes the browser to spin for several minutes. When it does eventually display a page it seems to be in a loop of sorts repeating the same information over and over and leaving some items out altogether.

If you visit THIS PAGE and click on one of the products you’ll see how it’s supposed to work. The login credentials I provided you will work on both sites.

Thank you Ben – I read the link you provided.

Parallax should also only display the image once, correct? I’m seeing tiled images, full width but repeating vertically (top and bottom) for many of my full width parallax containers, which to me does not make sense. The ratio of most of my images is 2:3 (height/width). I see your recommended size is 2000px x 1200px. 2:3 is a little bit taller. And still, Position: Center Center doesn’t seem to be applying property. Do you mind taking a look again? http://www.kellyheckphotography.com.php72-4.lan3-1.websitetestlink.com/corporate-photography/ is one page you can see, any other portfolio page will have multiple of the same, and nearly every page has a parallax image full width before the footer. Again, some are displaying OK, but about 1/3 to 1/2 are not.

And I agree with you that not every picture, especially with people or a specific focal point, is going to work in this application. I just need the Position: Center Center to be working, and the tiling to go away so I can determine which images to place in those positions.

Importantly if you use this on a single product page then you can’t edit it from that single product. The only place you can edit the template is from the products > woo templates.

This makes the button look tall and not evenly padded. The weird thing is that it seems to work fine on other pages, just not the home page. :s

Hmm, are you using page builder by siteorigin? There has been a known conflict with that plugin and polylang. But otherwise, there shouldn’t be an issue. Glad you were able to work around this, but sorry that things were more complicated than they should be.

On this site I have a carousel of club badges which link to the relevant club page.
The carousel is setup using [carousel type=post orderby=date columns=5 items=-1 speed=4000 scroll=1 cat=club] as a “Sitewide after Header Shortcode”.

The carousel works fine and looks great but I noticed that there is a brief moment on each page-refresh when all the carousel items are shown in a grid, before the display resets correctly in the header.

I guess it is similar to the problem experienced in “Topic: Carousel widget pre-load larger images showing” but the fix will need to be different.

Please could you help?
