    Topic: Switch to 2017 theme and back to virtue – site now not working – please help :)

    Hi Guys…

    I had a Elementor tech support look into why their forms were not working as should….

    He switched the themes to default WP themes to check if it was a theme conflict… apparently it is … BUT this is NOT why I am messaging you.

    The site since he checked has lost functionality…

    AN ERROR ON IS PART MAY BE….He switched back to Virtue Theme… AND NOT my child virtue theme. I had to do this once I noticed.

    This is a list of what is not responding:

    – Mobile Drop down menu
    – My portfolio grid pages: the isotope filter does not work
    – Buttons that actvate popups (elementor popup widget) non responsive
    – Hero images on pages are no longer full width
    – There may be more but only checked quickly

    Can you shed some light on this and maybe a quick fix?

    It’s when the “Image Grid” format is chosen in a Portfolio that clicking on an image leads to the image media page instead of a lightbox carousel. It doesn’t happen on the “Image List” and “Image List Style 2” settings, they still perform as I’d want but I don’t like the way they look. I have to choose to turn on Jetpack’s lightbox to get carousel lightbox behavior in “Image Grid”, but I don’t like the way Jetpack’s lightbox looks.

    HI, I am just starting a new build. I have set the home page to be a landing page (more or less as a holding page) but it is still showing the header.

    I have done the same on another site and it is working fine.

    Portfolio slider/images no longer create lightbox slideshow when clicked–They instead go to the media page of the image, and then will appear in a lightbox when clicked from there.

    I want my portfolio images to show up as slideshow in lightbox when clicked, like they used to. Did something change recently?

    Hi,

    We will be using WooCommerce as a catalog for products and had hoped to use the WC Catalog Enquiry plugin to replace the “Add to Cart” button on the single product page. In “basic” WooCommerce it does this fine but using the Kadance Woo Templates reverts the Add to Cart button back to the standard which does nothing since we have no cart.

    Any thoughts on this?

    Hi guys,

    I just moved the site from the dev server to the live server, and when you scroll down, the page content is on top of the header, and it becomes transparent. I haven’t seen this before in the many times I’ve used Virtue. Any thoughts?

    Hello,
    I have disabled all the plugins and the problem persists.
    The theme I use is the Virtue – Premium Version: 4.9.3 through a child.
    The problem occurs when: in options of the theme, in Design Cover, in Design Manager Page Cover, if active (enabled) Products Discarded, but if I deactivate it (disabled) the problem disappears.
    This happens since the last update of the Virtue – Premium theme.

    Ben,

    In pinnacle the testimonial widget allows you to link the testimonials to a page. I don’t see that option in the Ascend testimonial widget.

    Any suggestions on how to link them to my main testimonial page instead of the individual posts?

    Hi. When viewing this page on a mobile in portrait the slider looks OK until I turn the mobile to landscape. The images goes very big and can’t be seen.

    Can’t understand why this is. I have used the settings recommended on your site.

    I am using Ascend Premium Child. Clients doesn’t have access to control panel of current site I am getting content from, just the wp admin. Client’s media gallery uses Cornerstone to edit ( Any suggestions on how I can set up the gallery page in Ascend in a similar manner? When you click on each tab above images, it only shows those tagged to that filter and stays on the same page.

    Is it possible to Move Email Address field to top of checkout page?

    I tried the Checkout manager, template builder, etc, but they only allow for reordering the entire billing/shipping blocks, not the order of the fields?

    Hi Peter,
    Kevins shortcode was not actually css, but html. You can paste it directly into the content area of your page. Did you try that?

    Hi,
    I bought the Woo / Elementor Pro plugin but I can’t seem to edit the checkout.

    In the builder it doesn’t load the checkout content (the module just stays as a small grey box), and the actual live page itself looks terrible.

    Try adding this product to cart to see what I mean:

    How can fix this?

    I´m using shrinking sticky header (Header Height 150px) and I want to move primary menu up to same line with logo.

    I´m using Kadence Slider under header and this css to keep menu on one line.

    I used to see an option that would allow me to check yes or no for using the math captcha on your contact page, but I don’t see that anymore.

    Is there a way to remove the math captcha on this page?
