Hi,
I have two questions witch i can’t resolve:
The website is already online so you can take a look at: *Login to see linkfirst question: breadcrumbs
I’ve switched on breadcrumbs in my theme options and in my yoast plugin as well but the breadcrumbs won’t show.
I’m using elementor page builder with the page lay-out in full width …2nd question:
in my theme options I chose in my homepage layout manager to enable:
“homepage” and “latest blog content” to show my newsfeed on the bottom of the page.
In my wordpress customizer I chose to switch on a static homepage.
So, now I can see the homepage but not the newsfeed or other things like an icon menu etc…In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Testimonials
Hello Hello
I would like to show testimonials on my daughter’s site : *Login to see link , but I am confused .
I have read Kadence Doc : *Login to see link and *Login to see link but I am not sure how to go about it.1. I would like to create a testimonials page that could be reached via a sub-menu of the “about” in the main navigation menu . I would divide it into 2 groups ( “Clients feedback” and ” Press Reviews” ).
2. I would also like to show some testimonials on the home page maybe as a carousel widget or using a shortcode ? I can’t find shortcodes in the new Testimonials post editor.
Sorry to ask such basic questions, but I feel stuck right now.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How to make Kadence Silder Pro Fullwidth?
Hi Kevin,
thanks for your reply. It’s a little bit curious – I have built in the Fullwidth Slider (Theme Options: Home Slider – Fullwidth Slider)
(sample page: http://wordpress65xxx.galaxyphoto.de), there it works.
If I use Kadence Slider here it is no Fullwidth. My version of Virtue – Premium is Version: 4.8.8. Where can I find the new editor or elementor?

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Featured Blog post
I’d like to add a featured blog post on the home page and have it look like it does on the main blog page, or at least very close to it. Featured image on the left, excerpt and read more button to the right.
Right now on the home page I just have it statically built out but it’s not really ideal when constantly adding new posts. I’d like it to be dynamic and just pull the most recent post. I know there are featured post widgets and plugins but none where I can get the image to display to the left and excerpt to the right.

December 13, 2018 at 10:54 am #210664I think there is a chance that is malware. I would try re-installing WordPress through the updates page as well. If it doesn’t go away after plugins and that then you may need to contact your hosting provider to determine if it is malware and restore the site from a backup, then check your server security.

Actually, the slider wont display any wider than its container size. So to get it to show full page width, you have a few options. If you’re using the new editor, you can add it to a fullwidth column in the Kadence Blocks row layout block:
You can use site origin page builder and add the slider to a text widget that’s set to display “fullwidth stretched.” This will also work in elementor.
Another option is rather than adding the slider to your page content, try adding it in Theme Options> Home Slider. Then it will display in the same area and be fullwidth.
Let me know if any of those options work for you.

In forum: Ascend ThemeDecember 13, 2018 at 10:30 am #210657Hey,
What type of server are you on? Are you using a shared?2G RAM isn’t very much, considering all the plugins I saw you were running I would not call your site small. The number or pages or posts you have means very little till you get well beyond the 100s. But the number of plugins and which plugins you are choosing to run. That means way more.
You can see what I wrote here about hosting and my recommendations: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
Try going to the page edit screen for your blog page and under “Blog List Options,” assign the sidebar there.
http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/templates/blog-page-template/Does that work for you?

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
how can I make Kadence Slider Pro Fullwidth (without space right and left)? (sample page: *Login to see link )
I have the following settings: In Kadence Slider settings: full height and full width
Site Layout Style: Wide Layout
Template: FullwidthAll the best
MichaelIn forum: Virtue ThemeI have the Latest Posts feature on the homepage of my website ( http://www.gardeningnomad.com ) and the tile has always been ‘latest from the blog’. Recently I noticed that after the blog items there’s another title ‘Latest Posts’ at the bottom of the page. I don’t know how this appeared (I haven’t updated the site in a while) and I can’t get rid of it. (sorry of this is a basic questions… I have tried various things, but it won’t go away).
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi there,
On my blog archive page, the Primary Sidebar keeps showing, despite my best efforts to change it to a custom sidebar. Did I miss a step here?
1. Under Virtue Misc Settings, I created a custom sidebar called “blogsidebar”
2. Under Virtue Blog Options > Blog Category/Archive Defaults:
Category Display Type: Grid Post, Three Column
Display the sidebar on blog archives? (Yes)
Choose a Sidebar: “blogsidebar”3. I set the template for the blog page to Blog Grid. On the page’s settings, I set the Display Sidebar to yes, and chose “blogsidebar”.
I was able to get “blogsidebar” to correctly show on blog posts, just not on the blog archive page.
Here is the blog archive page, wrong sidebar: *Login to see link
Here is a blog post with the correct sidebar: *Login to see linkThanks in advance!

GaryIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeOn the home page of I Married the War is an update section which shows the most recent blog/update post. Up until recently, the photo included with the update appeared on the home page summary. But now it doesn’t, although yesterday’s update I was able to get the image to appear in the home page entry. The Updates page is working fine, it’s the home page entry that is no longer working consistently. Thank you.
The photo is the featured image and added to the post via Add Media. The blog shortcode for the home page entry is
[blog_posts items-“1″ orderby=”date” cat=”updates”]

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Custom CSS not being applied
When I first set up this webpage I had some help from you setting up some CSS formatting for the staff page entries. It appears that CSS is no longer being applied on the Home, The Wives, or Our Team pages. It’s supposed to center the image and text, but the either the image is left aligned or the text below is right aligned. Here’s the CSS initially added to Theme Options > Custom CSS. Thank you.

December 12, 2018 at 10:37 am #210543Using a vpn I got around your country block to see your site.
You are getting this error:
You have included the Google Maps JavaScript API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.
Make sure you only have one google maps plugin installed and then contact that plugins support to see if they can determine why they are loading the JS twice.
