Hi Ben,
thanks for sorting it out! I see – I thought that was the Kadence Elementor PRO widget.. Maybe you should change their names to include Kadence, so it’s clear :).
In Woocommerce, I see 2 product grid widgets – “Product Archive main loop” (which I now know is yours) and “Products” (with 4 cart icons in a grid). Then there’s more product loops in other sections. Having “Kadence Product archive main loop” in the title would have probably saved you this ticket, worth a try 🙂
Trouble is that your widget only works on the shop archive page, but it says “This element is not designed for this post type” if on the homepage for example. And the other product loop (built in or elementor) widgets are scrambled still. BUT – Woo shortcodes like
[products limit="6" columns="3" visibility="featured" ]are displayed fine, so all good! Thanks for the CSS snippet too.
Thanks,
LukasIn forum: Ascend ThemeHi Ben,
it seems I had to backup my website since Kadence Woo Template Builder was conflicting with new WordPress and tonight my store page didn’t open because of
“Error 524: A timeout occurred”
Problems with cashing (this thread) began when I updated wordpress. Now I’d rather not touch anything before your check. Could you help me to put it in order?
Please find support team answer I highlited it screenshot:

https://www.weirdo.studio is now loading! Looks like the plugin kadence-woo-template-builde was causing a fatal php error, and as such needed to be deactivated for the site to load properly.
In a case like this, you may want to either update or delete and reinstall that plugin.
Below is the error that plugin was presenting, which you can also take to that plugins support team, to see if they can further illuminate what that error means or how you might avoid it in the future:

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Front page posts no longer displaying properly
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeMy front page displays three posts using the code:
[blog_posts type=grid items=”3″ orderby=”date” cat=”latest-news”]It has been working properly for a year now. Today I was updating the posts and everything seemed fine until I went to my home page to check my coding. I don’t think I changed anything, but I may have “updated” the page. Now the posts do not display correctly. Please help. My website is http://www.plcnh.org
Thank you.

In forum: Membership ForumsHello guys.
I am building webshop that will have several product categories and subcategories.
I am using Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro.
My scenario is this:
Will create template for Category A.
Inside that page I need to have products from its subcategories shown. So lets say I have several subcategories such as Cat A1, Cat A2 etc.
I want template for Category A to look like this:
1. Featured image with title (this is not a problem)
2. Cat A1 product loop
3. Cat A2 product loopIs there a way to have this achieved using this page builder?
Thank you.

December 10, 2018 at 10:21 pm #210432Morning all,
I have removed the subscribe form in the footer on the home page but the POP up subscribe is still not working?
I’ve cleared the cache and minified CSS (yesterday) and tried again this morning but no – still saying oops! Thanks in advance and have a good day.
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Problem editing Pinnacle pages with Thrive Architect
Thanks for coming back to me on this Ben & Hannah, however it looks like the issues may have been overcome with some assistance from the Thrive Themes team – I just did a quick test using one of their generic landing pages which seems to have maintained its format. Let’s see how it goes later in the day as I try to build some new pages.
I’ll put the fix in here in case anyone else has similar issues – as you can see it involved 3rd party plugins.
Firstly with autoptimize – went to settings and disabled both the Java script code & optimise CSS code {unticked the boxes)
secondly with WP Fastest cache ticked – ticked the box next to ‘logged in users’= don’t show the cached version for logged in usersIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: How do I deactivate Kadence Blocks??
December 10, 2018 at 5:11 pm #210410Hey,
To be clear. Kadence Blocks is a plugin you can remove it any time you like through the plugins page. The block editor that is new to WordPress 5.0 can be turned off by installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben,
I unchecked the “Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives” then tested it a few times with 2 PC’s and an iPhone using Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari. Turning is the AJAX seemed to have done the trick for a while, but I did a retest a hour later and the issue had returned. So, I just unchecked the “Redirect to the cart page after successful addition” as well and it seems to be working fine again… Now, an outlined banner pops up above and says, ““PLATINUM 950 Design Wedding Ring 6mm (#GR7A6PT)” has been added to your cart”, and there’s a button on the right that says View Cart to click on. I’m okay with this structure too as long as it keeps functions correctly. I’ll do more retests and keep you updated.Thank you again,
GaryIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeI updated to WP 5 and could not edit any post or page in the new block editor. Whenever I selected a post or page to edit, the same post would come up (from 5/22) regardless of the post or page selection I made. My Contact Form 7 plugin also gave me a “Maintenance, come back later” page instead of the form. Once I installed the Classic plugin the page editor resumed normal function, but the Contact form page is still in maintenance mode. Some issues yet to be resolved, it seems.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Kadence button shortcode taller than other buttons
December 10, 2018 at 1:17 pm #210397In elementor you set the line-height for that area to be 2em.
That is why it’s taller.
The page default is 20px.
You can add this css:
.elementor .btn-shortcode { line-height: 20px; }Ben

December 10, 2018 at 1:13 pm #210395Hmm I just I still don’t understand.
If you are using the latest posts module that you add through the theme options >home layout. You can not make the excerpts really long. It’s not designed that way. You can certainly create custom excerpts in your posts but they will be cut off at the word count.
Your other option is to use a shortcode to show your posts or set the home page as your posts page.
If you use a shortcode like [kad_blog] you can output excerpts in whatever length you write them in your posts custom excerpt box.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Ascend Premium – Button Question
December 10, 2018 at 1:03 pm #210391but every time we refresh the page, the button ID’s are changing (not sure if this is normal)
If you don’t define the ID then it’s just randomly generated on load. In your shortcode add
id="5"and that would make it static.Ben

Hey Ben,
Sorry, I think my question came across a bit confusing. What I’m trying to do is achieve longer page text on my home page without it being cut off by the “read more” tab. I use this as a primary landing page to put forth our mission statement and showcase what our business offers. Thank you in advance for your time!
In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Using old widgets with Gutenberg
December 10, 2018 at 12:36 pm #210387The pagebuilder block if called siteorigin layout. That will open up pagebuilder inside of a block. As long as you have pagebuilder active it will be a block you can add.
If you would like to access through the old interface you can install the classic editor plugin and then view pagebuilder through that method.
