I went and looked at your page. And again there is the same bad html added into the visual editor widget (which will break your page every time). It’s as if you remove the page I made and copied the same one you had before. Can you give me step by step details as to what you are doing so I can possibly find what is creating this issue and help resolve this?

Please be detailed are you ever touching things like prebuilt layouts and duplicating a page?

Hello,

It’s possible that this page once existed on your site and you linked to it somewhere. I would try searching for any instance of that link on your site with this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/

Just look for the URL, and delete any occurrence the plugin finds on your site.

I thought I could translate what worked here to another page, but the code I added is appearing on the visual tab, and the text I need to be at the bottom of the current images leaves part at the top. The page is here. This screenshot is what I see on the Visual tab. On the Text tab, this is what I did:

Heading

 

Main image, text and links

[columns][span4]

First image, text and links

[/span4][span4]

Second image, text and links

[/span4][span4]

Third image, text and links

[/span4][span4]

Fourth image, text and links

I can’t see what I need to do to form the layout correctly, that is, to clean up the Visual tab, and move all of “Deep Shades Assortment” and “Subtle Shades Assortment entirely to the bottom on the front end. Those shades assortments are temporary place-holders. New groupings of images will fall under both of them.

The K galleries albums do not seem to open … I can click right mouse button and open in a new window,. but when clicking on the album it does not open.

Hello Support team!

I’m trying to reduce load time of my website. I’m using page cashe, but besides that, I have to do someting with the image sizes.

As to ‘pingdom’ page speed test, images are 70% of the page size of the main page, 45% of the requests. Is this possible to download only the 1. image of Kadence slider as first download of the site?

In addition, Can you suggest plugins, which work good, and could be useful?

In Theme Options > Home Page Header set “Choose home page header settings” to “Page title”. Then set “Enable Typed Text instead of standard” to “On”.

Do you mean the typed text? That is an Ascend feature. You can re-create it in Virtue using a shortcode like this: [kt_typed first_sentence="Powerful Ecommerce" second_sentence="Stunning Portfolios" startdelay="100" loop="true"]
However, there isn’t a built-in function to add this into a slider. What you could do is create a row in whatever page builder you’re using and add a text widget to the row with the above shortcode in it. Would that work for you?

I am more interested in re-creating the slider animated text on the kadencethemes homepage. I created a text layer and added my animated text on the layer but it displays the code on the frontend. What am i not getting right?

Hey,
Yes, you can re-create the Kadence themes homepage with Virtue using the Virtue: Split Content widget and the Virtue: Info Box widget. You should use a page builder plugin such as SiteOrigin or Elementor. Let me know if there’s a specific area you’re getting stuck.

sorry I forgot to mention, when I published and opened the page , there was wording on top all over the heading?

Is it right thing to do to clear the cache on top bar after I made changes?

I’ll send print screen as I now changed it to private published. ? very confused.

FYI the Kadence Woo extras plugin we have offers an option to add a description box below the loop in category pages.

Also you could use either pro woocommerce template plugin we offer (one is for elementor one is for page builder).

Otherwise you would need to use a child theme and customize the way woocommerce loads the archives.

One option would be to add the products via woocommerce shortcode to the page content like this:

Then, below add the text.

On the mobile platform, I do not like the big dark arrows on either side of the flex slider, that is at the top of my home page, as they interfere with the menu icon. Is there a way to turn off the arrows? Mobile format is the problem, it looks good on a desktop…
