Hi Ben
Thank you. My php page is really nothing more than a form with one text box and one button that depending what the user enters, directs them to either another domain (site) or leaves them on the original site (just to a different WP page).
Can I either call my php page by its file name (myspecialpage.php) or copy the code to a widget by adding the code to the functions.php page? Or do you know if there a plugin that will allow me to add the code to a widget?

Hey Jim,
The home page uses the front-page.php template. If you want to override that in a child theme you need to make your custom template name “front-page.php”Just know that it means any homepage layout settings in your theme opitons will not works since you would be overrideing the home page.

I’m using Ascend (child) theme. I have a custom php file that loads a form and depending on what the user enters in the form will redirect the user to different pages. I’ve copied the file to the ‘template’ folder of the child theme on the server.
It loads and works as expected when I assign it to a normal WP page from the Template drop down (Under Page Attributes). However, I want to add the custom template to the home page but can’t get it to show up. Is there a setting I need to change? I can’t find where or why it won’t load on the home but will load on other pages.
My home page is a static page set in the “Reading” section of the WP setting.

When I copy the row, the second row doesn’t have the problem. When I move the second row above first row then the second row (now first) has the problem. So the first video row in the page always have this problem.

Odd, I’m not sure what may be causing this. I suggest building another page builder row with the same content and layout settings to see if it works properly then.
Let me know if that makes a difference.

am using the newest Virtue Premium and the 2nd newest Revo Slider. No issues with updates so far.
But now I see that revo has an update (I need) to 5.4.7.4 (now 5.4.7.3.) available. I click on “update now” and land on the WordPress Update page, but no waiting Revo update (only other to-be-updated plugins.Revo is not in theme plugins
Any idea where this could “hang”?

ok, so your issue was that you were setting a very large image as your logo. Then setting that logo width to 1200px causing wordpress to try and create that image size from your very large image. The resizing couldn’t happen on your server in the max time allowed by your server because of the size of the image and the size you wanted to be created.
I set the logo width to 600 (still way way too large) and your page will now load. I suggest based on your header style using a logo like 120px wide.

Yesterday after making an update to my website the site wouldn’t load up. I’d get either a 500 error or just eventually a search icon on the top left of the page. After working with my hosting company, it was determined that the theme was causing the problem. I have temporarily changed the theme to Virute and I have no issues. Switching back to Ascend the problem arises again. I’m using Ascend 1.4.9 and WordPress 4.9.6.
These are the errors encountered:
date() expects at most 2 parameters, 3 given in /home4/inspivc7/public_html/wp-content/ascend_premium/themeoptions/options.php
Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home4/inspivc7/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-image-editor-imagick.php on line 354

Using Brands in our Woo extras you can upload one logo to a brand called “amazon” and tell the woo extras to show brand images belwo the product image on the archive page and above the add to cart on the single page.
Any product you assign to the brand amazon would get this image.

Hey,
Go to pages in your admin menu. Then edit the “home” page. It’s marked as your “front page”In the edit screen you can see the page content, there you can find the virtue: call to action widget you want to edit. For a button to show you must set the button link and text.

Wherever an Amazon product appears I want their logo to appear in that specific place like the other products have. On the category page, product details page above the buy now button.
I can get a Amazon logo and upload it, so yes one could link to it.

Hi again Kadence universe,
quick question. Some time ago I helped a little nonprofit build a set of products, mostly books, using WooCommerce in a Kadence theme. It works for them, especially for the books. The one odd-ball ‘product’ they have is a Membership subscription, which has various levels and types. I set it up using product attributes, which work pretty well. The only issue is that they now would like to have the ability to rearrange the order that the subscription options appear on the membership page. They currently appear in alphabetical order, and I can’t find where to tweak that.

I had not thought to look in the shop/archive settings to affect the display of the ratings on the product pages. Good to know.

Updated to iOS 11.4. No change. Tried editing a post on a different WordPress site. Same problem. Once I highlight text or make any changes, I can no longer scroll the screen. Refreshing the page releases it, but also unhighlights my text or undoes the change.
Not sure where to go from here. If you guys can’t replicate the problem, I’m not sure you can help me fix it, right? I can try working through my plugins again…
