In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: facebook feed plugin
I am trying to put a facebook feed in the Primary sidebar. The name of the plugin is “Custom Facebook Feed” and to display the feed there is a setting for inserting a shortcode, and the direction say:
Displaying your Feed
Copy and paste this shortcode directly into the page, post or widget where you’d like the feed to show up:[custom-facebook-feed]
However, I cannot find a place to paste the shortcode in the Primary Sidebar. Any ideas?

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: woocommerce layout
Hi there
Im using a different layout from the default woo commerce. Im using the following code on some pages.
.postid-1211 .product-img-case {
display: none;
}
.postid-1211 .product-summary-case {
width: 100%;
}
How do I extend this to include all woo commerce products so I dont have to enter the code for each page.
Kind regards
PaulIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Parallax and portflio ?????
Hey Richard,
You can’t actually use a page template on the homepage as the homepage template will override it. Assuming your page is set as a static page, I would recommend using page builder and adding your portfolio posts via shortcode in the visual editor. This would work:[portfolio_posts orderby=date excerpt=false columns=4 items=4 height=200 lightbox=true showtypes=true]
Then to add a parallax image you can add a row through page builder and ensure that you add content to the row, even if it’s just a blank text widget. Then set your image as the background for that row and set the row layout to full width stretched.
These may help-

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Woo category pages are gone
Something strange happened today. We had problem with the site and the pages went blank. I then deactivated the plugins via FTP. I managed to get the site back up and I started to activate the plugins one by one. I activated Woocommerce, but the category pages just wouldn’t show up. I have checked in the menus and the URL seems to be ok. The product pages in Woo are working just fine. Any idea what might have happened and do you have a “cure”?
(The category pages are the ones in the lower menu, e.g. “Display & expo”)

Hello Ben,
The “Orange” menu icon appears when you view the site with small browser width, then open up the menu drop-down then scroll down << at first the menu icon appeared as set in the primary color but suddenly after you scroll down it turns orange.
I don’t know how to post picture in this but I also wish to change that orange color as well.Thank you in advance
natpvsUpdate** found out that the icon is “i.kt-icon-menu3::before”

Thanks Hanna for the quick reply.
1. This looks good.. however the only thing missing for me.. symmetric/standard grid size.While using the blog posts, instead of page content, the images were cropped to a common size, hence the display was symmetric.
In the current setting, the layout is not symmetric due to different image sizes.
Is it possible to achieve similar results like the blog post thing but with 3 columns ?2/3/4 :Thanks for your inputs, will try this out
thanks

Moreover, how can I remove Portfolio type in the Portfolio Post bottom Carousel, such as on this page: http://mfi.lapousse.fr/portfolio/le-college-neerlandais.
I have not seen the option in the Theme options.
Thanks for your help

Hey Gaurav,
1. I would actually suggest setting your homepage as your latest post page (Settings > Reading). Then in Theme Options > Home Layout ensure that you have Page Content enabled in the Homepage Layout Manager. Then if you scroll down to Page Content Options (if home page is latest post page) you can turn on Use Post Grid Format and set the number of columns to 3.2. Have you already created a page for all your posts (using the blog template)? If so, you can link to that page from your primary menu (Appearance > Menus). Does that work for you?
3. You just want one column centered? If so, select the two column Footer Widget Layout from Theme Options > Footer. Then add your content to the column 1 from Appearance > Widgets. Then add this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:
.col-md-6.col-sm-6.footercol1 { width: 100%; text-align: center; margin: 0; }4. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#shortcodes

In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
As I explore virtue theme, I am trying to address the below requirements at my site
The site is secondrecipe.com
1.I am looking to have 3 columns instead of 2 columns on the home page layout(excluding the sidebar).
(I tried using the pagebuilder, but I think it will require more expertise to do that.)2. What is the best way to give a link on the main page which can list all the posts, instead of the user going to each category or archives ?
3.I am trying to look for an option where the footer is not broken in 2/3/4 columns but only 1 column.The footer layout option does not give that.
4. Do you have any comprehensive list of virtue short codes ?
Thanks

April 20, 2016 at 3:02 pm #917471. Can you be more specific about what your seeing?
Have you deactivated your plugins.
2. You’re talking about the theme lightbox.. add this css:
.mfp-figure:after { background: white; }3. That isn’t how the links work and the theme doesn’t edit those at all.
My guess is you have another issue. Post a login so I can see the page.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: woocommerce layout
Hi there
I am looking at different layouts for my single product pages. I have used the following code to disable the default single product image.
.postid-1211 .product-img-case {
display: none;
}
.postid-1211 .col-md-1211.product-summary-case {
width: 100%;
The only problem im getting is the image on the page wont extend any further towards the side bar. Is there a different code i must use for this as there is a lot of space between the image and the sidebar.
This is a link to the page in question.

If you could please help with this matter
kind regards
Paul.In forum: Pinnacle ThemeApril 20, 2016 at 1:10 pm #91702In your theme options > portfolio options you should change the posts per page for archive pages to match that.
Or make both 8 or both 12.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi Hannah,
Thanks for you quick response. I do have the permalink settings set to Post Name, so that is not the issue. As for Settings>Reading, what exactly are you saying it should be set to? I don’t quite follow your explanation. Currently, I have:
Front page displays:
-a static pageFront page:
-selectPosts page:
