In reply to: Recents posts layout
Hi Ben, again,
Thanks a lot, it has been very helpful but I have two last questions:
When using the offset, I will end up with something like this: http://postimg.org/image/utgovb89x/ ,- so, the post image is much smaller than pretended (which would be something like this http://postimg.org/image/dtpo5si3l/).
1. Is there any way I can control the text and image sizes here?
2. The spacing between title, date, text and tags is massive here (when using the offset) – http://postimg.org/image/utgovb89x/ – something that does not happen with the Latest Blog posts. How can I make it “normal”?
Thanks again,
Nuno

Hi Ben,
ad 2: thanks, this is the culprit.
A designer forced a lot of !important into the child CSS – I should not have let her do this (and violate your splendid theme).
ad 1: Yes, I want a slider.
Sorry about the minified. I should have turned off before posting. Promised to do next time!
🙂

March 19, 2016 at 5:16 pm #86611You can add into a sidebar (like in a text widget) or into the post itself.
It’s just html that you get so you can place it anywhere.

March 19, 2016 at 5:07 pm #86605Hey,
So you want the top of the sidebar to align with the top of the blog post images not the title “Featured Homes”?Or are you saying you want to align with the title?
Would you like the content to move up or the sidebar to move down?

March 19, 2016 at 5:05 pm #86604Hey, even assuming you mean height* not high I”m not sure this makes sense. The height of the footer is based on content and that height changes based on screen size too. Can you explain more what your going for then maybe I can know better how to help.
And please post a link with support requests.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Where do testimonial posts show up?
March 19, 2016 at 4:33 pm #86590Hey,
You would make a page using the testimonial page template. Then each testimonial post would show on that page. http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#testimonialgridpageBen
In forum: Virtue ThemeCan’t figure out where testimonial posts are seen. Does it need a dedicated page? I created two testimonial groups.
And where does a registered partner see that option or page?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Is this possible – slider and background colors?
March 19, 2016 at 2:23 pm #86571You can use pagebuilder to set different backgrounds: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/
You would have to use a decent amount of css to make on slider overflow into two other rows but if you set up the rows and post a link to your site I may be able to help with that.

March 19, 2016 at 2:11 pm #86567Hey
“sgr” on top would mean that you would have to make all the menu labels sgr then all the descriptions your actual titles. Then you would have to use custom css to make the descriptions large and your label small. Please post a link with support requests.

Ben, i’m testing this code on my local server, it can not be accessed from the Internet. After i changed the page page-testimonial-grid.php, the testimonials displayed as on the picture see post above. On the page I changed only the number of 60 to 229. And at first glance, everything works. I want to make sure that my changes will not spoiled the page, if my changes are safe, we can close the topic.

March 19, 2016 at 12:21 pm #86543Can you tell me what version of the theme you are using?
What plugins you have installed?
testimonials are a post type so there shouldn’t be a button but a menu for them.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Primary sidebar alignment
Hi, just upgraded to premium, woohoo.
My site is *Login to see link
On the primary sidebar, the first item is an ad for “Team Wood”, would like it to align with the top of the image for the home page blog posts. The thing is, when I’m actually in the post, it lines up perfectly. If I need a different sidebar for the home page that’s fine… but I’d like to know if I can get things to align better.
Thanks, Glenn
