Hi Ben,
Thanks! Before we come to point 5:
I want to implement a gallery (as it is nicely shown in the demo – features) in the portfolio post. It should be a grid. I did not get this working…
The grid for the portfolio posts look very nice. But I want to have a grid like this for single pictures…on klick there should open a lightbox.Jan

Thanks. I added the code to templates/entry-meta-subhead.php but found that added the subtitle to the single, full-post pages, which I don’t actually want. Eventually I thought to try adding the code to templates/home/blog-home-onecolumn.php (line 100) and it worked, adding the subtitle to the blog post excerpts on the homepage. Perhaps I’m starting to get the hang of this?

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: inconsistent Transparent Site Header
February 22, 2016 at 11:01 am #82538Hey,
Based on the link you posted you don’t have a page title enabled? You can’t really have a transparent header unless there is a page title to place behind it. And you don’t have to use a traditional page title you can use a slider with the shortcode option in your page header options on each page.Ben

February 22, 2016 at 10:25 am #82518Hey,
1. Adding images isn’t an option with the themes fullwidth submenu. You would have to use a plugin.2. Can you post a link so I can see what you mean? Use “Set as private reply”

February 22, 2016 at 10:17 am #82509Hey,
Check out this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/The expires headers has to do with your caching. You need use a good caching plugin.
The fewer http requests has to do with your plugins. you would have to use less to bring that down. Also minify your css and js would help that.
The use CDN is something you would have to purchase. It’s like another server with monthly costs just to host your image and scripts.
The compress components has to do with a caching plugin.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Fullwidth Sub-Menu Error
Hello,
I am struggeling with the Fullwidth Sub-Menu option. I use virtue premium and when hovering with the mouse over the primary menu icon, the sub menu is displayed out of sight (out of the browser window)
The page is offline, so I only may provide some screenshots:Any hint would be helpfull.
Thank you very much!

Yes, you told us about disabling Page Builder and translating page. In fact, we did it yesterday. Read again your posts, the one about translation was of 19th February. As I told you in the previous post, we already informed the developers of Polylang, Polylang and Woocommerce integration plugin about this compatibility issue.
Now, we have to solve the home page URL issue due to Polylang from http://tuscanini.audio to http://tuscanini.audio/en/audiophile-craftmanship/.
Thank youIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Related products under blog posts
@Federico: I did some research on this lately. To me there seem to be two options:
a) Use https://www.relatedpostsforwp.com/ (the light version does not include WC). This is more if you have many content and the related content is supposed to be automatically generated
b) If you are ok with manually assigning related content then you should rather go with this: https://www.post-connector.com/
Both plugins are by Barry Kooij, a know WC developer. So quality is good.
What would remain on your side is to have the Related Content widget look the same as the Virtue Upsells widget.
Regardinb b) I lately had email exchange with Barry and he send me this snippet that one use to adjust the html+css code to what Virtue Upsells does: https://gist.github.com/barrykooij/0efabcce67d332f65dd4
I did not have the time to come up with a working solution, so I can only give pointers. Would be nice if you come back here, if you have a (working) solution.
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Poor quality of translations: (not only in German)
ok, I see.
I did not mean to indicate that the whole translation is crap – sorry about that!
I think the 2nd point of post processing (removing) the “overridden” strings would still be an improvement though. (and would also fix the not-so-well translation of “You may also like…” which with this all started here 😉

February 22, 2016 at 12:50 am #82444Hey,
This isn’t a built in option so you would need to override at least one template.. if you used a child theme to override templates/entry-meta-subhead.phpThen you can add your call for the custom field right to the top of the file and it would be called into the posts.

In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 22, 2016 at 12:46 am #82443Pinnacle isn’t going to place the icons above the menu item, you can add them but making then sit above the menu is more tricky and doesn’t really work if you want to have shrink header. But possible without a shrink you can post a link can I can give you the css for it.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Text below footer area?
February 22, 2016 at 12:43 am #82441I can think of one possible workaround without using a child theme but it depends on how many footer columns you want? Are you wanting more then three?
Can you post a link to your site?
BenIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Lightbox and plugins
Hey,
I’m using a plugin (envira gallery) for my photo website and it works fine. BUT to use the envira lightbox in my galleries, I disabled the themes lightbox. Else I would have the lightbox doubled. For my blog posts I disabled the “klick” feature with a short css.
Now the problem: I want to set up a shop, but then I did not get a lightbox for the product pictures.
– What could be a solution?
– Can I disable the “klick” for product pictures (probably not the best solution)?
– Is it possible to deactivate or activate the themes lightbox for specific pages?
– Can I use the envira gallery lightbox for the product pictures?
– Maybe I should bother you with questions how to customize the themes lightbox 🙂 ?Thanks a lot!!
