In reply to: Compatibility with Toolset (Types and Views) Plugin
February 18, 2016 at 8:33 pm #81976Hi Ben,
Just found out Slider Revolution works perfectly with Toolset’s custom Post types. It can display featured images in my custom Posts. Problem solved 🙂
Thanks.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Blog alternate sidebar
Hi:
You have a recent reply that states:
“In your theme options > misc settings you can create a new sidebar.
In your settings > reading make sure you have not selected a page for the post page. Leave that empty.
In your blog page using the blog template you can select which sidebar you want to show.”This appears to be the way to customize blog pages sidebars one post at a time. Is there a way to have all posts use the same custom sidebar? In other words, I would like to have all my posts show the same sidebar, which is a custom sidebar I created in Misc. Settings.

February 18, 2016 at 12:55 pm #81935Hey,
You can’t with that widget. You can use a shortcode though to show your posts. For example click “virtue shortcodes” in your admin in a page or visual editor widget and choose the blog post option.

February 18, 2016 at 12:12 pm #81926You can show posts on the home page in different styles. If your referring to the “latest posts” module in your theme options > home layout then you would need to edit the templates/home/blog-home.php.
Do the same change as above but to lines 89-90.

February 18, 2016 at 11:34 am #81911Hey,
1. Sure you can set a min height with css. Please post a link.2. Yep not an issue.
You would add the css in the theme options > advnaced settings. not in pagebuilder.
Just waiting for a link.

February 18, 2016 at 11:33 am #81910Hey,
So looks like you linked to a portfolio post.. Which is very different from a product.See here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/portfolio/
Vs products which has pricing add to cart all of that:
http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/shop/There isn’t a way to make portfolio posts products so unfortunately you do need to make each product as a product so you can set in the variations, pricing, shipping etc.
Does that make sense?

February 18, 2016 at 11:29 am #81909This is probably because the 5th item is a little taller then the sixth and so if the items are not all the same size they align highest first.
If you can post a link to this I can help you set the heights to be even.

February 18, 2016 at 11:22 am #81905Hey,
You can set that title right in your theme options > home layout. Scroll down to the latest posts section. You can also use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ to translate theme strings into swedish.

February 18, 2016 at 10:57 am #81893Hey,
1. You don’t need premium yoast to set the home page.If your wanting a call to action then set the home page as a static page. settings > reading.
this means you will first create a page called “home” or whatever you like.
Then you can go to settings > reading. and set that new page as your home page.
Then go to that page and in the yoast box set the meta tags you would like.
it’s no something you need to pay me to do. If you want to post a login you can and I can help but it’s something you will want to know how to do.
2. You can use the page content to add the call to action and set the pagebuilder row background. See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/using-page-builder-virtue-premium/

In forum: Virtue ThemeFebruary 17, 2016 at 11:10 pm #81806You should give your button a more detailed class then “button” so you can more easily specify it and set it how you want.
I’m not seeing this shrift to the right?
Can you post an image of what your seeing?
