Hello,

I’m looking to create a photo gallery like this one in the demo: *Login to see link

However, I can’t figure out why mine does not have the same functionality. I added my photos to the Portfolio Post Options panel, but when I click on them, it takes me to the image instead of opening up a gallery.

Hannah,

I have created portfolio types with posts.

Are you talking about excerpts in the Custom Carousel settings? I think the label there is Title and Description. Yes, I can see where those are displayed on the Custom Carousel.

I am seeing a setting in the Portfolio that says Excerpt and I can’t see where that is displayed.

As far as sizing, I was looking for a way to size the images all the same height or width and not loose content. This is true for all layouts, not just Custom Carousel. Thanks.

Maybe for future development?

And maybe a widget that can layout different layout posts for the customers who wants a magazine kind of look. So it can be used with site origin plugin.

The existing solution seems to only works with visual composer page builder. Which I read not too efficient.

I would like to have the option of having a sticky post on my homepage, but the post disappears when I set the visibility to ‘Sticky.’

But it does not work for me.

My website is *Login to see link and I would like to keep the current format and just enable sticky posts to appear on the front page.

Now my question is can I do the same possibility for post as in portfolios.
..(In your theme options > portfolio options. Change the Portfolio Arrow Navigation to be within category.)

Can i navigate wihin categeory for my posts. The previous end next post button must be always a post of the same category.

Hey Linda,
Have you crated portfolio types and assigned portfolio posts to them?
I’m seeing the excerpt display under titles as it should. Is this not showing right for you?
In Theme Options > Home Layout under Home Custom Carousel Settings you can set Enable custom image ratio for carousel to On. Does that work for you?

Your homepage doesn’t seem to be set up the way that you described. Are you just wanting one summary post on your page? If so you can use a shortcode like this: [kad_blog items=1 fullpost=false] You could paste that into a text widget (appearance > widget) within the home widget area. Just make sure you enable home widget area in theme options > home layout.

I had my home page perfect displaying one large image. I have been setting portfolio posts and linking them to sub-pages all coming under one page – Gallery. Hmmm …. I find the posts alright, but this way I dont get an overall view of all the posts indicating which are completed and which still need follow up.

Go to footer columns. This is what you gave me to tighten line spacing–

If you want more or less space you can change the -5 to whatever you like

At present, I try to find them, by editing a post, and then I get my name highlighted at the side. When I click on that, I get 25 of my last posts made…. but it would be nice to have all the links there.

It would make finding our posts so much easier.

Thank You for the quick response.

Yes, it’s [email protected]. The form gives the success message, but nothing arrives in the mail or no comments appear in the admin panel. I’ve seen other posts relating to this saying that it’s a server issue but it can’t be that on this occasion because I also use Perfect Web custom contact form which does get received in my mail.
