Hi, I use a child theme of Pinnacle Premium.
I would like the background of the text of certain specific pages, including the home page, to be white like if it was an image of a letter signed by someone, and the other to be light grey. The sidebar on those pages need to remain light grey.
If I do nothing, all the pages and the sidebar have a light grey background, which is fine.
To modify certain pages, I went in Advanced Styling -> Body Background -> Post Background and select color #ffffff. Now, all my pages text section (excluding the sidebar) have a white background except my home page. Not what I am looking for, as I want this just on certain pages..
How can I achieve a white background on just certain pages, like page id 5, and on the home page? The best would be to also have the top and the bottom of the “letter” to be also light grey as the rest of the page as if it was a “letter” showed, but I can do without.
Thanks!In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I’m attempting to set up a send button or icon on my blog post for others to share or post my blogs on their social media. However, with so many widgets out there, I’m concerned about a slow down on my computer and reluctant to use any other plug-in other that what was recommended by Kadence Themes.
Is there a simple solution to solve this issue? Thank you!

Thanks Ben, that added two staff members in in two columns!
It just displayed title, subtitle and excerpt so I’ve now read the shortcode docs to see and use
limit_content="false"to display the rest.[staff_posts columns="2" items="2" limit_content="false"]Thanks for your help!

Hi Ben,
Actually I know the subdomain blog.example.XX, however even this doesn’t seem to work for my setting. In general what I need is this URL for each blog post: example.com/blog/post 1, example.com/blog/post2, etc.
Yes, I set German as language in the general settings.
Thanks
SylviaIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: fullwidth feature image
Dear Hannah and Ben,
I tried both options but they do not seem to work. Check for yourself
1. feature sidebar page template and you have the feature options set to image you should be able to make it fullwidth with this css: http://bailalma.com/test-feature-sidebar/
2. pagebuilder inside your portfolio post and add a full – stretched row and place an image in that: http://bailalma.com/test-stretched-row/Both pages use an image that is 1920 × 372 px just for tesing purpose.
Please let me know what you think.
Greetings
Fabrizio

January 21, 2016 at 11:35 pm #77131Hey Please read my response. You can do this using a shortcode in your page content. Then you disable the latest posts in your theme options > home layout.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Formatting Question – Blog Page Layout
Wanted to let you know that I was able to accomplish what I wanted to do with the Post Loop widget mid-page. Yeah, no pagination stinks (that’s the kind of stuff needed to build things truly “right” IMO. We should be able to paginate (or allow to grow) any section on the site independently and more than one section on the same page. Just something for you guys to think about going forward, and just my opinion. (Overall, great product!) I’m just solving it now by adding a manual more… link at the bottom of the list and linking to a blog page that just contains the paginated archives.
You still may want to look into the malfunctioning shortcode I mentioned above though.

Tried [kad_blog orderby=date items=4 fullpost=false] but it seems to ignore the fullpost=false part. It was displaying the full post content. If this is the same shortcode that is dropped-in from the Visual Editor, then I tried this already – looks familiar. I think something is not working correctly with that shortcode. Note I am working in PageBuilder.

January 21, 2016 at 1:13 pm #77058Hey,
If you are talking about menu items. Those would need to make changed in the apperance > menu page. Menu items don’t translate directly to pages on your site. Can you post a link to where you are having an issue I can help further explain.

January 21, 2016 at 1:07 pm #77053Hey,
A subdomain is something that comes before a domain.. like this: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/pinnacle-premium/“themes” is a subdomain of kadencethemes.com
I think you just want to change the permalink structure. You cant manually edit each permalink in your post and you can set a blog slug in your permalink settings using a custom permalink.
2. In your settings > general is german set as the language?
