    Thanks!

    Hey Sharon,
    When choosing a plugin you mostly want to look at reviews and when it was last updated. The plugin you suggested seems decent. Something like this may work as well- https://wordpress.org/plugins/social-networks-auto-poster-facebook-twitter-g/
    I don’t have one that I have worked with and love, but I hope one of those works well for you!

    ok Hannah – Thanks for this – I’ve tested it and I see what you mean.

    I was kinda hoping that there may be a way of just presenting a button to publish a new blog entry with image upload and admin approval first?

    This way, I can copy and paste if approved – but they (and replys) would not be able to add images?? which would kinda be nice. I’m not too fussed about Admin approval and am happy to remove reported posts instead.

    Do I need to go down a plugin route do you think?

    Thanks Hannah – Appreciate your help and support

    I am looking to post this code in the footer on every page, but editing the footer.php doesnt seem to place it on every page.

    <script type=’text/javascript’ data-cfasync=’false’>window.purechatApi = { l: [], t: [], on: function () { this.l.push(arguments); } }; (function () { var done = false; var script = document.createElement(‘script’); script.async = true; script.type = ‘text/javascript’; script.src = ‘ document.getElementsByTagName(‘HEAD’).item(0).appendChild(script); script.onreadystatechange = script.onload = function (e) { if (!done && (!this.readyState || this.readyState == ‘loaded’ || this.readyState == ‘complete’)) { var w = new PCWidget({c: ‘a4daef33-b3ac-462b-9dc7-04351fce9e3b’, f: true }); done = true; } }; })();</script>

    Did you want the post to be live automatically or do you want it to come through the admin first? If you want it to come through you then you can use a shortcode like this:
    [kad_testimonial_form name_label="Title" testimonial_label="Blog Post" submit_label="Submit"]
    It will come to you like a testimonial form, but then you could just copy it into a blog post format. Does that make sense?

    Hey Francesco,
    1. There isn’t an option for that within the themes carousel. Your best bet may be to use a carousel plugin and add it into the post.

    2. You can use css like this:

    .portfolionav a {
        background: #000;
    }
    .portfolionav a:hover {
        background: #999;
    }

    Just paste that in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
    Hope it helps!

    Hi Russell,
    One workaround would be to use the Testimonial Form shortcode and just tweak it a bit so it’s set up for blog posts. Does this work for you? You can find the shortcode from the Virtue Shortcodes tab in the visual editor.

    Hi Russell,
    You should be able to determine the sidebar on all pages either from within theme options or from the edit page. You can disable from blog entries by going to Theme Options > Blog Options and setting Blog Post Sidebar Default to “No, do not show”.
    If you wanted, you could remove Admin from the sidebar. You can edit/remove sidebar content from Appearance > Widgets.

    Hey Samuel,
    I just tested the google maps shortcode within a visual editor widget in page builder and there was no issue. Can you post a link?

    Hi Holger,
    In Theme Options > Blog Options try setting Blog Post Default Head Title to Post Title and then set Show the post title below the header to Off. Does this work for you? You should also see an option from within your edit page to turn the post title on or off.

    Hi

    I would like users to be able to post new blog entries, but it seems that this can only be done at the back-end but I want a link on front end website Blog area that says ‘ Create new Blog entry’ so that normal users can create their own entries without having to visit wp-admin

    Can someone please confirm my initial suspicions that this ‘front end’ functionality actually does not seem to be available by default and secondly recommend a simple plugin that I can implement to provide a button to ‘post a new blog entry’ for users that is nicely compatible with Virtue?

    Anyone doing this care to share a URL to your site? I’d love to see examples – Thanks

    Hello

    Is it possible to get rid of the links on the right from ALL pages on my Virtue 3.4.5 Premium theme?

    I have gotton rid it by applying most pages (Contact, About Us etc etc) as FULLWIDTH template, but for ‘some’ pages like the Blog entries etc – I cannot fathom it out despite them being set to FULLWIDTH it is still there. I’ve looked around the Blog Options and turned a few settings off but I cannot get the section to dissappear from everywhere.

    Reason – I do not want users to by clicking on Site Admin – I know that they are constrained by role – but no reason for them to by there so it’s just a distraction.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    I would like to show my h1 headline for posts after the header, like the following screenshot:

    Therefore I have made the following settings (I think there is no other solution right now):

    But the H1 will be shown 2 times in the source code:

    What can I do that I have no double H1 attribute and the headline will be shown below the header?

    Thanks and best regards

    Hi Ben,

    I have a two-part question:

    (1) I have a static front page with a Kadence Slider header (love it!) and Call to Action. I just switched to the primary sidebar and added the Pinnacle Latest Blog Posts Widget, which is exactly what I wanted. It is not lining up properly on the home page (see http://www.wetapestry.com). Is there a way to push it down to align with the image menu in the first two columns and ensure the Call to Action extends all the way across the page?

    (2) Also, if I put that widget there, then does it mean whenever I have widget space on other pages that that EXACT widget is the one that will show up, or can I change it page by page AND/OR make the blog list longer, or with excerpts?

    Thank you for your help! I am loving your theme and am eager to rate it soon. Just need a bit more work with it. 🙂

    Hello,

    Please see:

    I ordered my items for each portfolio post I created, but it is not showing in that order in the portfolio grid (on the test page). Once I get it working, I was going to add the grid to my actual page.

    Thanks,

    Connie

    Hi Hannah,

    Instead of deactivating: I installed a fresh copy of WordPress, the theme, Revolution Slider, WooCommerce, Events Calendar & Tickets – leaving all other plugins out – on another server / domain-name and the problem persisted. That’s my dev-server I pointed you towards.

    I initially posted this problem on the forum of the Events Calendar, since this problem shows on their pages, but with their help I found out the Virtue Premium theme has its own tribe-events folder. I’m guessing the problem here is not so much the overall placement of the qty-buttons, but the placement within the css stylesheets of Events Calendar.
