How to add a Single Blog Post on another post or category?
I would like to insert some posts to be visible on another page.

I know that I can use the following VIRTUE SHORTCODE to add a list of blog posts from a specific category [blog_posts cat=”nuevos-autos”], but in my case I only want to add a specific post, using the URL or the title of such post.

Please let me know what will be the right SHORTCODE to insert similar to the one above, but just making reference to a specific POST.

Virtue Shortcodes are Not Working when Editing Category.
When I am editing a Category, If I click on the Icon/Menu “VIRTUE SHORTCODES” nothing happens.

Virtue Shortcodes work fine when editing Pages or Posts, the problem since to be only with CATEGORIES.

I have tried in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

It will be very helpful to be able to use the shortcodes when editing or creating CATEGORIES.

Hi Hannah,
Yes. There seems some problem with Bluehost server. Trying to contact them. My site is down.
Yes, I am adding single images in a Post ( not a gallery) and when I clicked the first image it poops up in lightbox.
I want I can go to the next image by clicking the next arrow button. By this way I can see all the single images that I have posted to a page/post.

When posting it,
1) There is a hover effect applied on the featured image which becomes a little transparent
2) When clicking on the feature image, it goes like a zoom on it

How can I disable those behaviors and just get a basic static post image ?

Is there anyway to implement next/previous (arrwos) images inside the lightbox for a Post/Page where no wordpress gallery has been created.
Images has been attached directly without any gallery.

Hey,
The “Pinnacle: Recent Posts widget” is for a sidebar it’s just a widget to show an image and the title with a link.

If you want to show a blog post with full text you can use this shortcode in a text widget:

[blog_posts items="10" type="full"]

Just so you know about the front page settings please see this tutorial because the is only referring to the main loop: https://www.kadencewp.com/home-page-pinnacle-premium/

also this section ” For each article in a feed, show full text.” that is only referring to your feed… which is an xml file for feed readers.

I apologize if this issue is addressed in other posts, so if I have just been lazy in my researching please just point me in the right direction. This theme is wonderful, and any deficiencies are surely due to my inexperience with web development. Basically the problem is that the website created on my computer does not correctly display on mobile devices (iPad landscape view comes closest, which leads me to believe it is a display size issue). Admittedly I have added a number of css alterations, and am pretty confident that is what’s causing the problem (whether it be improper syntax, values, element calling, or anything else…). I am using a child theme and would be happy to provide the css, as well as any plugins used (though of the few activated, most were provided with virtue pro) or anything else you think would be interfering/helpful. Or maybe I just haven’t set up mobile properly in menu options. I am sorry for my ignorance and inexperience, but any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the site north woods

More details would be great,

Making a few assumptions. My guess is your wanting to show blog posts of one category on your home page?

In your theme options > home layout. Make sure to enabled ht “latest posts” module. Then scroll down to the home blog settings and select the category you would like to show.
