    If I add the Woocommerce Layered Nav filter to my primary sidebar (which I use for my category pages), the filter also shows all empty attributes (i.e. attributes that have no matching product in the category). This only happens if I select OR as the query type. If I select AND as the query type, no empty attributes are shown. I checked documentation and support on the filter widget and it seems that the filter should always correctly hide the empty attributes, regardless of the query type selected. Any ideas?

    Sure!

    .sidebar .bcarousellink>header>h5 {
        font-weight: 400;
        font-size: 15px;
        line-height: 18px;
    }

    Hey Grace,
    This css should work for you:

    .sidebar .entry-content p {
    display: none;
    }
    .sidebar span.postday.kad-hidedate {
    display: none;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    For the page “blog” you need to go to settings > reading. Unselect any page as your “latest posts” page. Then go to your pages and edit blog. There choose the blog template and click “save” once it reloads you will see options below the content area to turn off the sidebar.

    In Theme Options > Blog Options set the Blog Post Sidebar Default to No, do not show.

    Hey Lindsay,
    Looks like you’re using a sidebar template. Just change the template to full width.

    Dear Kevin,
    Great news – ok and these is only possible for the main menue or also for the sub menue ?
    I have to know before I rebuild my shop like these

    New question- if I would like to make also like the Homepage example I have sent you on the sidebar the whole categories …
    It is also possible to give all categories and the subcategories the different kind of colors also in the Widget area ..

    For understanding
    My shop is so big and so many category’s that I have thinking now to make only 8-9 main topic category’s and each will get a color and all than all other things below have than the same color

    So a color Traffic way …

    Is these possible ?
    Thanks a lot 😉

    The “issue” is not really a bug. It’s how wordpress is designed to work with the “default” page template. Because “default” isn’t really a specific template. If you use a permalink that equals the same as any template name then it pulls the template by default thinking thats what you want.

    The thing is when you pull a template that way it’s not removing the sidebar (like it would if you actually set the template to contact) but it’s using the code from the template (which gives you the layout with the sidebar below).

    You only need to tell wordpress what template you really want to use (and in general you should do this regardless).

    Sidebar Options was ticked. But when I closed the screen options tab and scrolled down, the Sidebar Options field magically appeared where they were all listed. Or I simply had a senior “moment!” It works now. Thank you.

    Did you assign the other sidebar in the options within the page settings? Be sure that “Sidebar Options” is ticked in Screen Options at the top of the page edit screen.

    When I did, it didn’t change the sidebar to my custom one for Creative Arts. It kept the primary sidebar as you can see. I can’t see where the two custom sidebars are listed to choose from when in Creative Arts page.

    Are you selecting the “Sidebar” template for that page?

    Sharon,
    In the future please start a new topic.
    Are you using the sidebar page template? You should see an option within the page options to select the sidebar. Is this on the case for you?

    I created two custom sidebars. But when I went to the Creative Arts page to change to Creative Arts sidebar, the page attribute list didn’t have it listed to choose. I must have missed something. Help appreciated.

    PS FYI…I am using Site Origin Editor often on pages.
