And now, after some time, please try change brands. Try to change brand on Test product 3 to Brand 2. Will the numbers change in the widget?

I had wrong numbers after changes. Then I deactivated all the plugins exept Wocommerce, Shopkit. Theme is my kadence child theme.

After this I had to set new sidebar, because offcanavas is in Premium addon. And now the numbers are correct. But then i made change of brand on two product. The change does not afect the widget.

Then i activate Twnty Twenty-One theme, add filter to sidebar 1 and numbers is still wrong.

I try clear every cach that i know, erase transients in woocommerce, run crons. Without effect.

I wanted to give up, but then I got idea. Look in to Query monitor.

“_transient_wc_layered_nav_counts_product_brands”

This is the problem. It is cached for one day.

wp-content\plugins\kadence-woo-extras\lib\brands\class-kt-filter-by-brand-widget.php line: 454

Erasing transient in woocommerce does not erase that.

I also see filter woocommerce_layered_nav_count_maybe_cache. But i am OK with this cache. However should the “woocommerce erasing transient” earse also this? Shouldn’t it?

I tried to replicate the possible settings you have on your Post Grid/Carousel block using the screenshot you gave. I set my page to have a sidebar, used the same Post Grid/Carousel block layout settings and type. However, I am still not able to replicate the issue where the pagination moves on top of the page.

Do you have other custom CSS on your website?

I have the same problem. I tried deactivating other plugins without effect. I tried erase every cach that i know. The problem appered after some months, when i add new products on production site. Then i tried it on staging, where i erase product brand. Product brand filter show old number, before changes. I don’t use any cash plugin. In Admin – Products – Brands, where is brands set is correct number. Filter product brands is set in Catalog Off Canvas Sidebar.

My real examle of weird behavior:
1. When i am on main shop page, there is 9 product with the brand XYZ. In filter widget is now showed only 2. After filtrating, in loop is 9 product with brand XYZ, but filter widget showed number 5.
2. Then i go to category. There is 8 product with XYZ. Filter widget showed 2. After filtratign in loop is 8 products and now filter widget showed correct 8.
3. Then i go to subcategory. There is 8 product with XYZ. Filter widget showed 2. After filtratign in loop is 8 products and now filter widget showed correct 8.
4. Then i go to sub subcategory, where all the products are asociated. There is 8 product with XYZ. Filter widget showed 2. After filtratign in loop is 8 products and now filter widget showed wrong 3.

I can’t found any logic in that.

I tried add widget to standard sidebar (no off canavas), problem is still there.

And now i found one more problem. I have one product with brand YYY. But this product is hidden in search and catalog, but it can by still filtred in brand filter.

I tried Brand product list widget. There is good numbers in it, but it is not filter, i know. But here is same problem with hidden products. It count with them.

Can you please make more complex test of this feture?

Hello Karla,

I have corrected all CSS errors and now your still required code is working.

I have a few questions left:

1: I have learned that your new code is actually part of your own fontello collection, as fontello includes several (fontello?) icon families. You do suport a few, how could I change to those for say, selected icons? Or in other words, select one of the other icon families you are supporting?

2. If you look at my shop page in full screen beyond 992px, how can I increase the shop width area (in the middle, but also for header menus) and decrease the sidebar areas? Note that I do not use sidebars per se on the site. Basically I use the Wide Site Layout Style, with contained width.

3. My CSS test still shows warnings, but it seems I can ignore them. Still, that might be not a good idea though. My warnings are:
38 10 is out of range
41 -webkit-transition is a vendor extension
42 -moz-transition is a vendor extension
43 -o-transition is a vendor extension

What should I do there?

Please help me a little bit here too.

I inspected the pages and found out that these 2 are portfolio posts:

Please double-check their portfolio layout and see if you have selected “Three Rows” – https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uQqjxm. This layout should make the content full-width and show the content as centered.

Regarding this page, I can see that it is the blog page. By default, the free virtue theme will have sidebars for the blog archive page. The option to show no sidebar is only available with the Virtue Premium theme.

Yes, its right, and it works.
But the question is it possible to invert not all main content, but just the sidebar?
I mean that without the css it is: 1)showing categorys 2) product from 1st category 3)…. 5) sidebar
And I want to save subsequence, but change the sidebar: 0)sidebar 1)showing categorys 2) product from 1st category 3)….
Is it possible?

You may also change the max-width from the code and make it 767px instead of 479px.

I did some troubleshooting and cache purging and it appears it helped.
I deleted plugin Cache Enabler, I installed WP-Optimize and now I can have a sidebar in my blog post!

WP Reset is what I would like to avoid, as I have some things set up and I have put effort into it. It will be the last resort, if so.
Or else, tell me please – if I use WP Reset, will it reset my homepage too, if it’s built in Elementor? Or will it stay?

When I’m making changes in the Customizer it is not saved and it take no effect. Like normally when I apply changes (e. g. add sth to the header) I can see it right away. But when I try to apply changes to the blog post, it takes no effect. It’s not only the sidebar.

And yes, I do have a saved blog post. Like here.

Hey,
Do you mean that you imported a starter template? The only way to revert from that is to use a plugin like WP Reset (though keep in mind that this will erase all your settings and give you a totally clean slate). Or else you can manually revert the settings. Kadence Blocks doesn’t control the starter templates. You should keep that plugin active.
When making changes in the customizer they are not saving, is that what you’re saying? Is it only the sidebar setting, or others as well? Have you cleared your cache?

Hi Kadence team, can you plz tell me if there is any product filter plugin that is compatible with Kadence Elements?

I will explain better:

I am customizing each product category on my website with images above the header and also adding descriptions for each category after the product loop.

Some of these categories are custom taxonomies, such as manufacturers or manufacturer region.

I would like to add product filters to my site, using some plugin like Woof or Filter Everything.

The problem I’ve encountered, after testing “almost” every plugin I’ve found, is that they break compatibility with Kadence’s Elements Hooks.

When I try to access a taxonomy using a filter, all the customizations I implemented with Kadence disappear.

I tried disabling Ajax for several of these plugins to see if forcing the site to completely reload would solve the problem, but it didn’t.

I would just like to put a sidebar with filters that hide empty categories and categories that are not children.

Is there any way to make Kadence Elements work well with filter plugins?

I appreciate any suggestion.

With the current page layout (with sidebar) I understand it’s impossible to add a fullwidth image via Page Editor.

You can achieve this using Kadence Hooked Element. Kindly enable the Hooked Element feature in Appearance > Kadence and follow this screen recording: https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuyX7N5

Once you used a sidebar layout, you cannot make the content width occupy the full width of the screen. If you want to somehow make the sidebar width smaller, go to Customizer > General > Sidebar and change the value of the Sidebar Width option – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuqmOWz.

Thank you very much for your answer but that’s what I did, and when I put a sidebar, the width seems fixed, and narrow. It is what I am looking for, to be able to widen the content when there is a lateral bar
